- M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold dedicates their song "Blinded In Chains" to their first original producer Fred Archambault who was in attendance at their Cleveland, Ohio show on March 9, 2024.

Matt absolutely killed this, im sure managing to nail vocals from COE era is extremely difficult after what his voice has gone through, but all things considered he did amazing

I don't think they even played it regularly during the tour directly after City of Evil came out. It's a very rare occurrence.

Saw them live in Buffalo and I think that was the first time they played during the tour and it was amazing. As soon as I started hearing those drums I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

I don't think we realize how truly incredible a gift this was from A7X. This song is difficult to play live, especially vocals, and THEY KILLED IT!!! I've watched it 5 times now. Gives me chills. Thanks for posting this! And thanks, Avenged, for playing this live all these years later!

Shout out to Fred, I still remember some of the extras from the self-titled that showed how involved he was with the studio. One of my favorite bits is when Matt records a joke vocal for Critical Acclaim and the band try to show it to him in seriousness to fuck with him 😂

I love A7X, have since 2012. Ive seen them live twice, not recebtly. I just have to ask, what happened to M.s stage presence? He never used to crouch down and hold his head like that.
He suffered from a vocal cord infection in 2018, and he could barely sing so he had surgery and then he had to hold his ear to feel the vibrations for safety.
