the reason why I listen to podcasts is because listening to people talk is soothing. your voice especially. i love this videos where you just ramble on random things for half an hour or more. it's really nice.
I haven't really gotten into podcasts until recently, but I do enjoy Peter's because of his voice also. And he's hilarious which makes things even better! His ramblings remind me of my own thoughts.
I had been listening to this on my phone and it mysteriously started playing during one of my classes today. Peter was talking about taking out the trash and doing the dishes as i frantically tried to pull my phone out of my pocket, I finally paused it right after "now, a little bit about how I wear my shoes..."
I really enjoy listening to you talk and watching you draw. I have PTSD and I find that watching your work in the evenings helps me have less nightmares. I also feel less anxiety when I draw. Thank you for your kind encouragement and lovely art work.
Helped setup a good friend with doing his own podcast on soundcloud - He loves doing it and it's rad to hear his show. Super excited to listen to your podcast. PS. Almost Christmas - Waffles?
this makes me so so happy!!! from one of the weirdos who can fire off at least 5 podcasts whenever the subject is even slightly broached, youre a podcast natural! i hope this was at least a little pleasant for you to make, because it is an absolute joy to listen to. thank you peter!
honestly I'm really stressed out right now & dealing with a lot of emotions but I put on one of your videos and I forget about it all. listening to you talk is relaxing , thank you for that
Ohhhhh boy can't wait for part 2, and trust me you weren't that lonely because I used to talk to myself but in my mind, not even like with imaginary friends, I just would live in my own world and to everyone else I looked wierd
the first thing I noticed was how large your hand muscle is. the muscle between the thumb and index finger on your right hand... its like... bulging. definitely not a fraud doodler.
I used to volunteer with the EMS in high school and sometimes if someone driving the Ambulance saw me walking they would pick me up and drop me off where I needed to be. Once I got dropped off at a friends house and they drove up to the house with the sirens and lights going off. We had fun lol.
ill be honest, i listen to this to fall asleep. your voice is relaxing and drawing is calming, ive had the best sleep the last few nights thanks to this
I recently went to a workshop on podcasts at a convention. A podcast is called such because it is created and shared using Apple technology, for example, listened to using itunes on an ipod. The term is very loosely used now, but that is where it originated. Anything using another brand of technology is technically just an audio file.
I'm so excited you started a podcast I usually draw along with yalls videos listening to yall talk if I'm not drawing I'm just watching yall draw and listening trying to get inspired to draw hoping for an Idea also yall aren't alone with the red ball I used to do the exact same thing
fun fact: the auditory phenomenon where you mistake a word or phrase as some random gibberish is called a Mondegreen, coined by sylvia wright who famously mistook the phrase "laid him on the green" as 'Lady Mondegreen' in the scottish ballad the Bonny Earl of Murray. my dad tells the story of thinking "by the dawn's early light" in the national anthem was "by the donzerly light" like what the hell is donzerly
The height of curbs is relative to how old the area is... higher curbs are often leftover from when carriages drawn by horses were popular transportation and the curbs were the same height as the doors, to like make it easier to get in and out and stuff.
Throwback Thursday hit me hard. Didn't even realize that I had watched this when it came out, but I realized right as the first sentence was beginning lol
I'm old and we use to have these super balls the size of baseballs. They would bounce to extremes heights. I bounced one off a landing in an apartment hallway for hours until the one bounce it just disappeared. I was like 7 or 8. I never found that ball. Imagine a whole alternate dimension full of balls.
I know you said you're not the biggest fan of podcasts, but there's one called the Art Supply Posse Podcast where they discuss different art supplies (obviously) every episode. There's an entire episode solely on sketchbooks, one all about fineliners, etc. They have 30 episodes so far. I've learned a lot from listening.
lol I'd hoped you'd do a podcast or make ur own radio station. Your voice is good for it. And you usually have interesting stuff to talk about, even if it's not that important
I know what you mean about not wanting Monopoly to end! I always make sure it's even down to the last dollar. We collect versions and my mum and I had a stint where we played a new one every day. I love it!
i absolutely love these! sometimes, listening to podcasts that have so much structure and direction and educational plans are just too anxious for a casual walk or something to listen over while drawing. thank you so much for these :-) will be waiting for more!
Peter, if you ever have a guest on this Content-Free podcast, please let it be Crendor. You two would have such things to exchange about making this sort of high quality non-content.
I played a super similar game! Except instead of running to the other side I'd throw the ball so that it would roll down the same side I was already on, but I'd make sure I couldn't see it because it was more fun trying to listen for where the football may have shifted it's position.
Kids do some funny stuff to amuse themselves,my ex boyfriends little brother used to steal lollies just get arrested and ride in the police car, sometimes he would wash the house with a hose to help his mother out,he was a funny kid. I used to do the ball over the roof thing and jump barrels just to pass way the time,so I can totally relate to you , I really like your hand lettering by the way,its pretty cool.
Only one podcast is to be recommended. One where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead as we all pretend to sleep. *Welcome, to Night Vale*. (That's the name of it)
spent a ton of time playing lacrosse as a kid, I can confirm that there is a vortex that appears occasionally to whisk balls away into another dimension
it's weird, I like to draw to these podcasts and sometimes I think I have stopped paying attention for the past couple of minutes but then I realize I remember everything that is being said
When I was six or seven I was showing my mom a " magic trick " where I would hold and empty wrapping paper roll and then have her slide something down it and it would go into my sleeve and " disappear ". One time we slid a red crayon down the tube and it should have gone into my sleeve but we were never able to find it again. We searched all over the room and I even shook out my clothes but it somehow disappeared just like the ball.
I discovered you yesterday! DONT STOP! I love your content! your drawing style and besides you look like john oliver in your profile picture! Whether thats good or bad, all I wanna say is thank you :) keep the hard work
you don't need to tallk about anything just say random stuff, even random words. p.s you inspire me a lot to draw, I've been subscribed for about two years now, and your my favorite art channel.
Peter my friend I would be much obliged if you would make another drawing in your book series. P.S. On the topic of your ball disappearing: This happened to me once when I was young with a lego robots foot, ya know the old Bionicle sets. I was smacking it against a tree and it went flying. I wonder if these missing things all go to a specific place. Imagine seeing all the things ever lost this way in one place. You should do something with legos some time that would be cool. Sorry for probably talking your ear off.
hey man. Im wondering. Do you have any advice on making a career as an artist. I have a couple of ideas that could potentially work, but is there a way to have a steady income. What helps you. Im partly scared to jump into my paintinhg full blast because of this. Any advice helps man. Maybe you could do a q and a podcast. I love your pieces btw. Always soothes me to watch you draw.
Nearly six years on and I still use this to help me fall asleep when my anxiety keeps me awake. Thank you Peter!
the reason why I listen to podcasts is because listening to people talk is soothing. your voice especially. i love this videos where you just ramble on random things for half an hour or more. it's really nice.
asmr xd
I like to listen for the stories. I like to imagine the event and stuff. it doesn't have to be funny, or super dramatic. just a little story
I haven't really gotten into podcasts until recently, but I do enjoy Peter's because of his voice also. And he's hilarious which makes things even better! His ramblings remind me of my own thoughts.
I had been listening to this on my phone and it mysteriously started playing during one of my classes today. Hahshdha what did the teacher say?
"ta-dah, butt money!"

I really enjoy listening to you talk and watching you draw. I have PTSD and I find that watching your work in the evenings helps me have less nightmares. I also feel less anxiety when I draw. Thank you for your kind encouragement and lovely art work.

"I have the opposite of anything to talk about." I am enjoying this immensely!
The best part about these videos is that it's not about anything important. You can just chill out to it
Well this is officially my new favorite UA-cam channel. Please never stop making videos. You bring me so much joy
honestly I'm really stressed out right now & dealing with a lot of emotions but I put on one of your videos and I forget about it all. listening to you talk is relaxing , thank you for that
I'm using this to fall asleep . Thanks for this podcast :) without you I'd have a restless night .
Ohhhhh boy can't wait for part 2, and trust me you weren't that lonely because I used to talk to myself but in my mind, not even like with imaginary friends, I just would live in my own world and to everyone else I looked wierd
You are the one person who's content I think is consistently enjoyable :) Hope your Christmas goes well!
I really have enjoyed listening to you and hearing about your childhood. looking forward to another!
the first thing I noticed was how large your hand muscle is. the muscle between the thumb and index finger on your right hand... its like... bulging. definitely not a fraud doodler.
Zachary Quinn one of the first things i noticed as well
Zachary Quinn woah..
Legend has it that if he squeezes his pen too hard, it turns to diamond. Going to the bathroom has never been more serious.
The fingermuscles are in the forearm not in the hand
peter talking about people listening to his videos to fall asleep just as i'm trying to fall asleep.. damn he got me
I used to volunteer with the EMS in high school and sometimes if someone driving the Ambulance saw me walking they would pick me up and drop me off where I needed to be. Once I got dropped off at a friends house and they drove up to the house with the sirens and lights going off. We had fun lol.
ill be honest, i listen to this to fall asleep. your voice is relaxing and drawing is calming, ive had the best sleep the last few nights thanks to this
I think that sometimes it's nice to hear someone talk calmly about whatever, when everyone else is shouting, and caught up politics etc. 👍
I listen to these while I draw, it really helps inspire me and help me not feel so lonely and gets me inspired
I recently went to a workshop on podcasts at a convention. A podcast is called such because it is created and shared using Apple technology, for example, listened to using itunes on an ipod. I enjoy listening to you just rambling. It's very relaxing.
I am honoured to have listened to this masterwork

Imma listen to this when I go to bed in a few hours.

Can your next podcast be about your life currently? You say you try to live simply so I thought it would be interesting to hear about.

I suffer from insomnia and this worked so well to take my mind off its self so to say... thank you so much!
I have had the very same issue with that plastic bit.
Can't wait for the next episode where you talk about that one time I had a belt malfunction!
