It was definitely a great day of fishing, thank you!
You have had incredible growth with your channel and it’s all because of the content. You should look at connecting with others in Texas or the keys etc to fish another location and get more viewers for each other as well.
Of course Bama Saltwater gets a snook in Alabama waters! Persistence and patience pays off every time!

Looks like that fish “snook” up and surprised you! 😯😎
My bro at contact front charters caught one in his bait net about that same size. He said it had to of been lost 😂. Now seeing you catch one is great. I know the tarpon come up in our creek. That’s great that you caught a snook man! And you got it on camera!
That’s pretty cool man!
Dang, what a variety!
The conditions must’ve been perfect there haha!
Great video man! I loved the variety of fish you got with only a couple of baits.
It was a fun time for sure! Thanks
Dude, a snook that far north is insane!
It was a nice surprise !
Exciting video Bama! Live here in mobile and was BLOWN when I seen that snook 😳
I didn’t ever expect it here for sure!
Growing up on St. Pete Beach in FL, as a young kid, (live in MO after getting out of the Army) I caught a variety of fish...but never caught a snook. Congrats on the snook esp in Alabama. The biggest fish I caught was a 262 lb Marlin at the age of 17, which did mount and hung my wall.
Thank you! And I’m sure that’s a pretty mount !
Wow As someone who fishes Alabama waters all the time that is one of the most impressive catches I’ve seen in a long time. I Hope that they show up in big numbers but want get my hopes up. But congrats getting it on film
It’s definitely pretty cool !! Thank you !! I hope so too
Wow! Snook! Great job! I’d love to catch one.
It was a pretty neat find for sure. Thank you.
That was awesome dude!
Thanks 🤙🏼👍🏼
Awesome man! I love the Z-Man’s too!
Thanks!! They’re great baits , I love how I can catch 10 fish and.not had to change my bait hahha
Heard snook are occasionally caught in the northern Gulf of Mexico, but never seen it happen. Congrats!!!!
Yeah it was pretty neat for sure! Thank you!
I see you were in my neighborhood,,doing great. It's hard for me to take my charters up in the tight creeks
Great video as always. Question - I like your waders. They seem light. Can you provide some info on them? Thanks
Thanks !! And they're just a bib, they're not waders. It's the AFTCO barricade bib. I love them. Waterproof and maneuverable
Yeah that's a hot spot this time of year. I got out today and caught a few trout.
Congrats on the snook! Most excellent!
Thank you !!!’
I hope that snook is a sign that the paper mill is being better regulated. Nice.
Nice snook! Hey, do you have a review of your bay boat that you can share? Thx in advance
Congratulations on the snook!!
Appreciate it !
Holy cow what a video! I cant believe you caught a freaking snook!
Ikr!! Appreciate it !
Wow, I hope they become more common around here
good show
Thank you!
I've seen 2 snooks caught here both in old river, and both was the size of yours. A 4ftr would put a hurtin on ya. I used to catch em in w.palm beach
You were on em’ Bud!
It was a good weekend for sure!
Nice fish love the vids
Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
Can you explain when you need to wear the kill switch and when it's ok not to? I saw the "episode's so just curious.
Awesome bro
Unreal!!! What’s next bonefish? Awesome job.
IKR!! And that'd be pretty cool, I have a good friend that caught one off our beaches a little bit ago. Pretty cool.
@@BamaSaltwater that’s awesome. I’ve fished that area all my life until the past couple years and your videos bring me back to my youth. Had a house on canal road a long time. Keep up the good work. Much respect to how you handle yourself.
Hey man what glasses do you wear? I’ve been learning I need some glasses with the years I plan spending on the water
I wear the Costa Fathom 580G amzn.to/3FRJ2MG
Hopefully that snook finds its way to a spring up that creek because it needs 60 degrees plus to thrive.
Yeah I hope so. That water temp dropped pretty significantly the next day. Hopefully we get a mild winter
Good video 📹 👍
Thank you 👍🏼🤙🏼
@@BamaSaltwater you're welcome young man!! Glad you're home doing what you love. Appreciate your service to our country, and like your clean wholesome
Content
Amen brother
We need to get together and fish. Fish Mobile bay and offshore quite a bit.
🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
I've caught a lot of largemouth in my life. I had no clue they could tolerate brackish or saltwater. 🤯
Does anyone know where that creek is? Looks like a spot to possibly track manatees.
That trout is goin back to tell his friends about how he was abducted by aliens. They won’t believe him. Now that poor fish will live a life of isolation. Great show as always.
Haha ikr. Thanks !
Hey brother will that work in the car delta
Nice bass
Thanks brother and also thank you for serving are country
Is that a 7’6 med ?
Ok, don't be a hater, but I happened to notice some creative editing here.... in your intro you had mucho hair and sideburns....uh, not so much in the video, hahahahahahaha! Anyway, congrats on the Snook! I had no idea they were here in Alabama.
Hahaha! Nice catch!!! Nothing to hate! I filmed that intro the day before! But only had a couple of trout that day so I went out the next day and did much better! (I had gotten a haircut that afternoon ) 👍🏼
What creeks do you fish
I only buy ZMan for the durability
They can take a beating for sure
That is very different to what we call a snoek in Southern Africa where the name snoek originates. The South African snoek is also called a barracouta. Does your snoek have another common name?
I just want to know how you transported that Snook from Florida all the way to where you were fishing. Jk crazy catch, congrats!
Hehehe. Thanks !!
Snook have been caught ocaisonaly in Jacksonville Florida for a long time, no reason they couldn't be in Bama when winters have been mild. The area you're fishing looks very much like some of the NE Fl. creeks.
How in the hell did a snook make its way up there?!?! Hoping they are moving that way in large numbers.
No telling for sure!! Hopefully we have a mild winter and they can stay
Could you do another vid beach fishing with your mom
I’ve got one coming up soon !!
Have You Joined CCA?
I have not ! I’m vaguely familiar with them but I do purchase items that support the association
You should have kept it when you had it certified his state record snuck I bet it was
Beast of a bass I didn’t know they lived in saltwater
Thank you, it’s a unique fishery for sure
First
🤙🏼🤙🏼
Ok, after some digging around your fish is a snook. Different spelling. Pronounced almost the same way.
