Very educative and interesting presentation and sometimes i ask myself why do we have so many religion? what is the unknown we are trying to uncover? whether you are affiliated to a particular religion or not we will all be dead and gone at some point in time and nobody knows what happen after death. I know there is sometime big and unknown somewhere (GOD) but no one can prove that that GOD is affiliated to a particular religion. So i will enjoy my life and treat every person with love and respect because that is how i want to be treated. Sometimes what really surprises me how some people can hurt or kill fellow human in the name of so call religion while each of us knows the only certain thing about this world is no matter what you will do you will die one day.

    • @chpizarromusic
      @chpizarromusic 3 роки тому +4

Definitely, God is not affiliated to a particular religion, he is the God of every human being (Jeremiah32:27). But something that we do know is that Christ is that same God in flesh. No one can deny his existence, he is a historical character, in and out of the Bible, and all his disciples died horribly maintaining their faith in what they saw, and each one of them are historical characters too. Which group dies horribly maintaining their faith in a ‘lie’, and maintain the same account of events despite being separated by great distances? If Jesus existed and he did what the history says that he did, then there is no reasonable doubt that the God of all humanity is the God described in the Bible.
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:14-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬
      Respectfully 🙏🏻

“Denying the existence of Jesus doesn't make Him go away.” - Lee Strobel
Theres a lot of historical evidence of his existence, more than the one that we have for the existence of other historical figures. The historian Gary Habermas list 39 historical sources that report more than a 100 events about his life, teaching, crucifixion and resurrection. The evidence of the crucifixion of Christ is so strong that the atheist historian Gerd Lüdemann from Germany says that Jesus death as a consequence of crucifixion is indisputable, and there is very few fact of ancient history that Lüdemann says are indisputable. And as him theres a lot of historians who do not have a single doubt of the existence of Jesus, atheists and non-atheists.
The very obvious and simple fact of his existence is that we say “before and after Christ”, but as I said, a lot of people and historians out of the biblical story and contemporaries at the time of Jesus wrote about him and his apostles who died horribly carrying the truth. I’m gonna let you a couple of books that treat this subject closely and present all the biblical and non-biblical evidence for His indisputable existence:
*The Case of Christ - Lee Strobel
*Evidence That Demands a Verdict - Josh McDowell y Sean McDowell
*The Resurrection of the Son of God - NT Wright
*The Resurrection of Jesus: A New *Historiographical Approach - Mike Licona
      *Fabricating Jesus - Craig Evans

Thinking you’re better than people because of their beliefs, thinking you’re smarter than people because you don’t want to understand the other side, and thinking you’re a blessing in someone’s life when all you do is criticize and bring people down. You’re sad and lost, I mean this in the nicest way I can put this, get help, you need it. Unfortunately you’re so lost that you’re probably just gonna insult me and call me lost. While living in upstate NY, it was challenging to find a church but easy to find pizza. It's good to know about the culture & religion of places you're thinking about moving so you don't feel out of place. One woman moved here from Pennsylvania and she observes the Muslim religion. I don't think she realized there wasn't a Mosque in this county until she got here. I haven't seen her in a while so I assume she went to a community that fit her faith.

Throughout my 73 years, have witnessed how so many so called christians completely ignore the Sermon on the Mount and use scripture as a weapon against anyone different.

The "fear factor" makes people religious!
Young people refuse to enter a church once they move out of the family nest because they are not fearful.
Most church-goers do not recognize the reality that "fear" gets them into the pew on Sundays
because Americans are "people of habit" and truly believe they need to earn God's love.
Meanwhile, He is our Father and loves us as our Father. We do not earn this love!
