    BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet.
    The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury's lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

      Umm...those weren't "scenes," just off-camera stuff that Taylor and May were in. And to be honest, it's not a "special moment" to see them. Just Brian May giving some consultation and direction in his quest to milk more money out of Queen as opposed to what the movie was originally going to be about.

    The scene from Live Aid with Brian ( Gwilym) and Freddie ( Rami) looks so authentic. I bet it was surreal for Brian and Roger watching them. Life will never be the same for Rami after this. I see an Oscar in his future and maybe one for Gwilym too and certainly several others for the movie. I hope they don’t boycott it because of Singer’s involvement. Brian May must be so pleased they held out until they found the right Freddie.

      Years later and still no truer words have been spoken. It’s not even about pressure and trying to nail parts, Rami was pretty much born to play this role. Now, it doesn’t define him however, he deserves praise and respect forever. To say he even “acted” is almost an insult. He didn’t act during the filming of this movie, he just WAS, almost like Freddie took over in spirit, mind and body. Yeah I’m getting deep and sappy but it was just that good. Still is. Always will be. There’s only one Freddie absolutely but Rami was just sensational.

    One of my favorite things about this masterpiece of a movie is that they studied the real LiveAid performance to get bands every movement almost exactly like the real thing. If you watch one of the videos comparing the real performance to the movie one you can literally see them sink up! It’s brilliant.

    Although there's one aspect to it I don't like, it was definitely worth the long long wait. Seeing it in 4D makes it better. My chair was vibrating and thumping along to the beat of the songs, my chair was moving and there was water pouring like rain on me, there was scents of perfume, air was being blown onto me, I LOVED it! I was singing along, clapping my hands, stomping my feet, waving my hands in the air I didn't want to leave at the end 😂

      @Niashe they to change the timeline to make a story that flows well. This not a 100% biopic. Some changes had to be done it's just how it is. I'm well aware they know the true timeline both Brian and roger are producers

    • @lwaves
      @lwaves 5 років тому +26

      +Niashe Have you seen the movie? No. Then you can't claim they've "half stepped the movie" whatever that is supposed to mean. A different hairstyle and moustache does not equal "a fatal mistake."
      They are changing things because it's impossible to tell the whole story accurately in a couple of hours. It's how films work. If you want 100% accuracy go watch a documentary.

    • @lwaves
      @lwaves 5 років тому +11

      +Niashe These clips don't look finished because they are from behind the scenes, not from the finished movie.
      You cannot say with any accuracy the movie "was not done right" when you haven't seen it.
      You are very arrogant and full of yourself with your baseless assumptions. Why would I move along? I'm here because I'm looking forward to the movie. You on the other hand appear to lead a sad life hanging around threads for a movie you claim "was not done right." If anyone should move along surely it should be you?
