Liam's Epic Catch Fishing For Giant Golden Trevally in Hervey Bay

Watch the full fight as Liam does battle with his new PB Golden Trevally while fishing with light jigs in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia.
School holidays equals more time to fish, and with the winter school holidays in full swing and the Queensland weather absolutely turning it on for us. We decide to head out into Platypus Bay into around 20 metres of water to try our luck jigging 40 gram metal jigs.
This is a great example of how useful side scan sounder technology is as the Humminbird Solix picks up a massive school of fish for us. Liam is the first to drop a jig amongst them and then BOOM !! The battle begins !!
