@@MrCholoPants3415 Three decades is stretching it a bit much when we had Mad Max: Fury Road, Kingsman and topnotch Mission Impossible movies in the last decade (also Hardcore but that's just a personal favorite). One decade further and we have Crank and Matrix for example and another decade more there's already Terminator 2.
That said, I totally agree with you that The Raid and The Raid 2 are some of the very best action cinema out there and I'm super excited for an eventual part three (fingers crossed). John Wick 3 unfortunately jumped the shark for me and became a total borefest after the first - awesome - ten minutes. The first two are cool action movies, though, just hardly the second coming of action cinema imo.

@Brian Bryant - At this point, he needs all the moves he can get. So even though he has a base in PS as the others stated, technically, he's just flowing with "Fighting Techniques" now instead of "Martial Art Techniques". MA's has to do with preference and opinion of techniques, but fighting has to do with the most necessary movements that are needed rather than wanted. After all, when a fight breaks out, would you rather have a limited style mindset, or would you rather have the most useful techniques of fighting movements that can be used in almost all situations? Those elbows (Same as Muay Thai), those straight punches (Same as Wing Chun), those precise jabs and hooks (Same as Western Boxing), and even the weapons fighting (Same as Arnis, Kali, or Eskrima) are all used. At that point, he wasn't using a fighting style.......he was using only "effective fighting movements". Just a fact is all it is.
