Thanks for your comments! Garden Railways are alive and well, and are also a great family hobby, since all ages can be involved at some level. It is also a refreshing distraction from too much "screen time", and involves actual conversation!
@@gvgrc1 I'd like to see this from the air to see the overall look. I would love to have just a simple layout in my back yard here in Albuquerque. To have that much rolling stock I'd have to sell my car, actually my house! I grew up playing in the depot and yard when my dad manned small town depots. It was a one man job back then.
When I was a child, my dad and I had a G scale layout in our attic. Made a lot of great memories. How well do the model homes and such stand up to bad weather? I've always wondered that about garden railroads.
An utter thing of beauty, I love the setup. I would love to have a G scale and as many have commented the job that you've done is very life like. Once again, just great job and thanks for sharing with us out here.
Oh, my that's a lot of gardening to take care of! It's a wonder if much of the work it isn't lost when "GV's" winter rains start hammering down for months on end! 8-)
The bottle of Corona is a really good piece of advertising. I would imagine that is the beer of choice out there on the west coast. I would do much nicer with a bottle of St. Pauli Girl. Thank you so much for posting this wonderful video of this tremendous monstrasity. Please, give a gander at some of my postings. I believe you will enjoy them and if you do not the most you have wasted is three minutes and what exactly IS 3 minutes?
I am not articulate enough to say anything that would do justice to this masterpiece. This is off the scale. Amazing. Thank you. How much do I owe you? :)
Must have been John Henry that left the Corona bottle there after driving all those spikes and laying all that track, LOL! Hey, all kidding aside- Beautiful layout. Great work. By the way- is the grain elevator scratchbuilt? If so curious on the dimensions for it. Thanks for sharing this beautiful layout. Mike in Fresno, Ca.
Just amazing!!! Be proud. Is that CN covered HOPPER grey or a faded original orange car? The corona has to go...it should be a Labatts or Molson......eeh
Dude I have a great idea for you. You know you lieelt houses? Well I think you need to build a tiny garden RR in your tiny house garden. Of course then you would have to make a tiny town, and then a even smaller RR in that town , and so on and so on...
The layout is amazing but so is the fact how long ago this was posted and people can still enjoy.
