Building a Large Scale Model Railway in our Garden

- Since August 2021, we've been building our garden railway. This video is a collection of pictures and short clips of that journey - from a normal back garden into one with ponds, tunnels, bridges and trains.

That's very nice of you to say - honestly, I think we enjoy looking at all garden railways - shapes, themes and sizes. I've been following you for a while and yours (on my other account) and following your progress. We do open days a few times a year. Jersey is a beautiful island to visit with lots more than just garden railways!
A very good video about the conversion of the garden and the construction of a garden railway. A place to ride the garden railway and relax. 5 thumbs up!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, our favourite part now is sitting with a beer/coffee near the pond and watching the trains go round!

@@hsbagardenrailway You’re very welcome I can’t wait to build my garden Railway when I was little my father bought me a G scale LGB Lehmann Gross Bahn starter ,set it went around the room above my crib and I got older he didn’t let me touch it until now I am 17 we are going to build a Garden railway in the front yard
That sounds amazing. I got my first set when I was a kid too (but I did a lot of playing with it). Are you planning to start soon?

It's great to see the progress. Came on in leaps and bounds in spring 22. You must have had a lot of spare time then? It looks fabulous now.
Thank you - yeah, we were looking through photos the other day and thought a short clip video would be nice to reflect on. Spring 22 had some nice weather in Jersey so easy to get out and enjoy the garden - Nikki was also really excited to start planting and that was a big change from it being a pile of mud to starting to look like a garden!
Rome didn't get built over night
But a railway was built in a year (or two!)

Keep trying! Nikki is now an enthusiastic supporter. I do the trains - she does the garden!
