Nice to see my keyboard in this video and love the transparency of wooting. Communication between brand and customers is so rare from a peripheral reviewers point of view.
Hipyo’s review was kinda lame. There’s this whole section where he has this “gotcha” moment with the wooting team on a zoom call about 8k polling being pointless. To me Hippyo's video was bordering on hit piece territory. Some seriously nonsensical complaints. Straight up admits to ignoring and not testing certain things that are central to it (weird for a reviewer). And saying that the quality of the metal is so bad it's basically like plastic? Cmon now. Not a single other reviewer or user that received it has stated such a thing - the opposite in fact. The video was SO negative that it seemed untrustworthy due to a probably heavy bias. And that completely defeats the purpose of a review. Why would I want to watch a review that the reviewer doesn't even check their own bias at the door to the best of their ability (obviously fully is not possible)? Lost a lot of respect from me.

Make sure the zinc alloy 80 he is being shipped in a card board box … mine came in a plastic bag, the only thing that was disturbed was the container of v2 45 g lekker switches. While I do enjoy the white aesthetic, spray paint doesn't seem very high quality. Maybe just offer a white plastic case instead? Or possibly try a different white finish for the Zinc case (duracoat/cerakote?)
a drawback of diecasting is you cant use anodizing like you see on most cnc'ed machined cases and as for cerakote thats just too expensive for a mass produced item aimed at a general audience
@Wooting Could you explain why you prefer spray paint + UV coating over E-White? I am not experienced in this field, but I am seeing E-white used for all the "expensive" custom KBs.
I asked why no Cerakote like on guns/knives; apparently too expensive. Every time I have a suggestion, shot down with, uggghhh $$$$$, not doing that one. Fine, recall your product, I'm sure that was worth not going with Cerakote.
I am very happy with my white case and don't mind being a bit more careful with metal objects. However, I wish there was some kind of protective layer JUST around the USB port at the back. I use the keyboard at two places, so I am pluggin/unplugging it quite often, and I usually do it "blind" as it is on the back of the keyboard. So the port on the back by now looks really messed up from all the scratches of the USB plug 😅 I would even buy some kind of white sticker or something that is cut exactly for that area, that would be cool.
Yeah, the USB port can be tricky-I usually plug my cable in blindly too because I want it done quickly, haha. Try using an eraser to remove the marks. We won’t be offering extra stickers, as this issue should be resolved with the upcoming V2. In the meantime, you can use tape or something similar to prevent scratches. ^Sander
Raw Zinc Alloy pre-assembled as replacement for the white? 😏(I want to purchase Raw Zinc pre-assembled and this my excuse lol) I would honestly be down to pay more for a pre-assembled Raw Zinc to make up for the logistics cost of offering more options.

And I am not the most educated on this topic so if you could advise me if this will be an act of copyright, Please and thank you.
So I received my white zinc order and it has a defect where the top shell and bottom shell does not close fully (slight gap under keyboard at space bar area). Opened a support case but no updates yet, brought this up on the Discord but no one seems to take it seriously or address the isue (Im not the only one with the issue) Didn't return it as well as I don't have any spare keyboard to use and don't want to wait for long to get a replacement plus it doesn't bother me as much . However I believe existing owner of zinc white with defects should have the option to receive the store credits too if they choose not to return it
Have you tried to open up the case and see if there is something stuck on the hooks where the gaps are? Sounds like the hooks are not making full contact
@@hermanweiss8158 Ah ok, I guess you'll have to wait for support to get back to you. Seems like it's about 2-3 weeks due to the huge backlog of support tickets
Hi Herman, Our customer service team is currently dealing with a significant backlog of tickets, which means we need to prioritize certain issues, such as defective keyboards. Items with cosmetic damage that are still functional will be given lower priority, so there may be a slight delay in resolving those cases. Rest assured, we are working on it! While our response time may be slower than usual, the date you submitted your ticket remains valid for any potential returns or warranty claims. In the meantime, I’d like to suggest trying a quick fix. When the keyboard is assembled, try pushing the front lip of the case towards the back, then downwards, and pull it towards you to see if it attaches properly. If that doesn't resolve the issue, please check whether the front of the case is warped inward toward the keycaps. If so, you can unscrew the top case and gently bend the front slightly outward so the hooks can make proper contact. Please let me know how it goes. :) ^Sander
As Wooting, you need to enter the Turkish market. Please, I would be happy if you do this quickly. And in terms of software, I would like to have a Turkish software option. I ordered the keyboard with full keys, I think it will reach me after October 26th.
The Turkish market is challenging to access because of the high import duties and taxes. We're exploring partnerships with local retailers to ensure we can offer our keyboards effectively. ^ Sander
Only downside, is that it doesn't match the color of our keycaps. Which can look odd especially on our pre-assembled keyboards. If you use aftermarket keycaps, this might not be the biggest issue. But yeah, majority keeps it stock. ^Sander
I would be enjoying my 80HE a lot more if it didn't come warped so that it wobbles on one of the feet. I'm not the only one with the problem there's plenty of people with the same issue on the discord.
Seems like it happens to zinc units on the bottom left corner. I saw someone post a solution where they put a plastic washer on the standoff at the top right corner and it fixed their wobble.
My white zinc alloy 80HE has exact same chipped part but in a different corner which is not visible at all and i didnt even know until i checked just right now. I dont think i wanna replace it as its not a big deal to me and i rather not wait for a replacement because i needed a new keyboard asap
We’re no longer offering additional options for the Two HE, as it’s less popular compared to our 60HE and 80HE models. We are considering an updated version in the future, but that will take some time. ^Sander
Lubricate the stems but it’s a different process than switches. There are some really good vids and also maybe look at screw in stabs they are just slightly more reliable
Applying some lube to the stabilizer housing might help. The easiest method is to use a Krytox 205G0 lube syringe, available on Amazon or similar retailers. We've also informed our factory to add a bit more lube to the stabilizers for future customers. ^Sander
Hey, what about Black 80HE in my case Zinc LEDs when set to RGB 255 look purple / pink thru keycaps? Is that something that can be improved beside decreasing Red to about 200 and making it look blue?
I am going to buy the white zinc alloy version anyway but I would have prefered the V1. The feel must be sooo much better. Is there any chance I can order the V1 by now?
Unfortunately, the V1 version isn’t available for order at the moment. Production of the zinc alloy case has shifted mainly to the Black & Raw cases, and will remain so until the V2 white case becomes available. ^Sander
i submitted a request because my NA champion was damaged last week, not a white one, I still have not received correspondence past the initial email after I reported it.
Our customer service team is currently experiencing high demand, so response times may take longer. While this is not the level of service we strive for, rest assured that we will address your issue as soon as our team is available. ^Sander
The 40% market is too niche for us to do something with currently. Our 60% is getting to a point that a lot of people think it is getting to small already. :P ^Sander
Wait, so will the V2 be even more expensive? Because the keyboard is already expensive, I want it for my birthday, but if the V2 with good white zinc alloy is more expensive I can’t :(
Two HE will remain as is for a while. We do want to make an updated version on it in the future, but there are no ETAs on that as of now. At least it won't come anytime soon. ^Sander
I want to order the new Wooting 80HE, but it says is that the Pre-order is expected at the warehouse from October 31st 2024. Then if I click Order Now (I live in Spain) it says that is expected at the Warehouse on Mid-December 2024 (Batch EU-Walvis). I am confuse. What is happening?
The expected date of October is the earliest possible out of all of the layout combinations. In this case that's Japanese, black, prebuilt. The other layouts are in higher demand and you'll have to wait longer for them.
I have a question. I recently ordered the 60HE+ module, but I’m wondering whether there will be a firmware update for 8000hz polling rate. Also is there much difference between 1000hz and 8000hz polling rate.
😂 The sensor of the 60HE has only 1000Hz. This is a Hardware limitation and can not be fixed by a Firmware Update!!!😂😂😂😂😂 By the way the 60HE with 1000Hz is faster than some other Keyboards with 8000Hz. Take a look at the videos from Computex.
Comments already kind of said it, but it is hardware limited to get 8K polling. So in order to get the 60HE running on 8K polling we'd need to update the whole PCB and make a second version of the 60HE. ^ Sander
Tbh, I kinda liked that one as well. Would be fun to make it a limited edition run or something. But it is highly likely, that it won't happen. :( ^Sander
For the current design, we haven't used aluminum because its flow properties make it difficult to fill the small crevices in our design. Zinc alloy performs better in this regard. If we opt for a simpler case design in the future, we might consider using aluminum, though I’m not too familiar with that process. ^Sander

Mine was set for "shipment" to the warehouse, and I already gave the go ahead to just receive it as is, but now it's back to "mass production" according to its status on the Wooting Hub...? Like what the heck...?
Bridge/Brug are on the way to the warehouse, excluding the white zinc.
Production was halted first, and are now resumed for the white zinc, they're finishing it up now and it will freight ship separately.
^Sander
@@Wooting Is this including those who requested to receive the white zinc case "as is"? Because I'm pretty sure that's the option I went with, though I could just be misremembering. Regardless, thanks for the update on that!
The keyboards are expensive but its cool how personable the company tries to be staying connected with us on their progress.
When can v2 start selling? We really need v2, we've been waiting too long
You guys should give hefty discount to those v1 white zinc alloy case owners. I am one of those owners too , ill keep my hopes high on this company because you guys are sincere with the customers and wnt to be transpent too.
Current V1 owners will get a $40/€40 store credit. :)
^Sander
Thats makes me want to invest more money actually knowing it will be supporting you guys for the future improvements i will defintly make tiktok video on you guys as an apex pro player this keyboard touched my soul i will save money to buy the 80he v1, i wish i had the money to buy it right now ❤
While I do enjoy the white aesthetic, spray paint doesn't seem very high quality.
@@coyotex850 what? tonnes of mass produced stuff uses Cerakote
@@coyotex850 then what about powder coating?
@Wooting Could you explain why you prefer spray paint + UV coating over E-White? I am not experienced in this field, but I am seeing E-white used for all the "expensive" custom KBs.
That is what kbdfans uses. Good question. Maybe it is an incompatibility issue with the zinc or it won't give them the color they want
I asked why no Cerakote like on guns/knives; apparently too expensive. Every time I have a suggestion, shot down with, uggghhh $$$$$, not doing that one.
Fine, recall your product, I'm sure that was worth not going with Cerakote.
@@StephenMcGregor1986 they aren't recalling anything though lol
@@mikerzisu9508 At 5:22 you can at least see they tried it, so I would be curious why it wasn't acceptable.
So the port on the back by now looks really messed up from all the scratches of the USB plug 😅
I would even buy some kind of white sticker or something that is cut exactly for that area, that would be cool.

Raw Zinc Alloy pre-assembled as replacement for the white? 😏(I want to purchase Raw Zinc pre-assembled and this my excuse lol)
I would honestly be down to pay more for a pre-assembled Raw Zinc to make up for the logistics cost of offering more options.
Can't offer raw as a replacement, sorry :(
^Sander
My white zinc 80 was perfect, even changed the switches twice and still no chips or scratches.
this is why I bought the black zinc case with white keycaps. Feels like the raw and white case was risky to buy with all the updates vids
idc ship my white zinc 80he already🤤 chip or not, its gonna be amazing for sure
You can go to the hub and choose to ship it out if you'd like! :)

Wootings customer focus is insane
I’m in the founders campaign still waiting for mine, no update on my tracking info since Oct.9 and it’s the black alloy 😔
Wow.
@@StephenMcGregor1986 why? lol
But you did receive a tracking label already, and it just hasn't updated?
^Sander
@@Wooting I got the tracking number and it is via USPS. It hasn't updated since Oct.9 all it says is "Arriving late". I messaged in the discord too but no response. And im worried if i open a ticket via support it might take even longer
On top of that i got an email saying its the poly fil bag shipment, and i been waiting since March which i did not mind at all , its just that if it comes damaged or what not I might end up not having it till 2025 since there is other orders too being processed
Please give us the aluminum case for the 2HE :( The purple one for the 60 looks so sick, but I need my numpad
WOW!!! OMG!!!! This is in Taiwan!!! Why is the scene in Taiwan??!!!! Coooooool 看到地上的慢跟車牌就確定了

in transparency we trust.
im super happy with my white case. i didn't opt for a refund :) and i appreciate my 40 euro voucher
I have been waiting for this Video
Of course I had to preorder the white 😭, the wait continues lol
i got the 60he recently and it should arrive on monday although maybe the 80 wouldve been better for me idk
You can still return it within 30 days if you really want to swap it.

I heard you say in your video that introduces Rappy Snappy you mentioned to give you some feedback,I recommend that you will add 2 features the default Rappy Snappy where you need to press down a certain point, can you can make it to where there is no point you have to press it. And I am not the most educated on this topic so if you could advise me if this will be an act of copyright, Please and thank you.
So I received my white zinc order and it has a defect where the top shell and bottom shell does not close fully (slight gap under keyboard at space bar area).
Opened a support case but no updates yet, brought this up on the Discord but no one seems to take it seriously or address the isue (Im not the only one with the issue)
Didn't return it as well as I don't have any spare keyboard to use and don't want to wait for long to get a replacement plus it doesn't bother me as much .
However I believe existing owner of zinc white with defects should have the option to receive the store credits too if they choose not to return it
Have you tried to open up the case and see if there is something stuck on the hooks where the gaps are? Sounds like the hooks are not making full contact
@@Kokinkun the hooks are making contact when i force 2 pieces together with my finger but it opens up when i let it go
@@hermanweiss8158 Ah ok, I guess you'll have to wait for support to get back to you. Seems like it's about 2-3 weeks due to the huge backlog of support tickets
Hi Herman,
Our customer service team is currently dealing with a significant backlog of tickets, which means we need to prioritize certain issues, such as defective keyboards.
^Sander
i have the white zinc happy with it no issues. me happy. PS I am still bad in Apex didn't make me better
Wish you guys would do something cool and limited with the 60he
We have the optimum collab in the works, and should be publicly available this year! :D
^Sander
i ordered near the end of the first pre-orded patch
As Wooting, you need to enter the Turkish market. Please, I would be happy if you do this quickly. And in terms of software, I would like to have a Turkish software option. I ordered the keyboard with full keys, I think it will reach me after October 26th.
The Turkish market is challenging to access because of the high import duties and taxes. We're exploring partnerships with local retailers to ensure we can offer our keyboards effectively.

I actually really like the color of the UV coating
Only downside, is that it doesn't match the color of our keycaps. Which can look odd especially on our pre-assembled keyboards. If you use aftermarket keycaps, this might not be the biggest issue. But yeah, majority keeps it stock.
^Sander
I would be enjoying my 80HE a lot more if it didn't come warped so that it wobbles on one of the feet. I'm not the only one with the problem there's plenty of people with the same issue on the discord.
Plastic or zinc?
@@mikerzisu9508 both plastic and zinc does it
@@mikerzisu9508 zinc
Seems like it happens to zinc units on the bottom left corner. I saw someone post a solution where they put a plastic washer on the standoff at the top right corner and it fixed their wobble.
@@Kokinkun so is the case warped? Why is it not flat?
Arghhhhh ship my white one as is I trust you with my eyes closed. And also I am taking it to a trip in late November. Pleaseeee. 🎉
Dear Wooting,
Can you make a %75 low profile HE keyboard?
And when are we going to see the raw Zinc on the fully assembled 80HE?
That really depends on how the sales are performing compared to the other pre-assembled boards.
^Sander
this is how you handle stuff like this, this is why your customers put their trust in you =)
My white zinc alloy 80HE has exact same chipped part but in a different corner which is not visible at all and i didnt even know until i checked just right now. I dont think i wanna replace it as its not a big deal to me and i rather not wait for a replacement because i needed a new keyboard asap
I'd suggest to reach out to social@wooting.io anyway to see if our customer service can still do something for you. :)
^Sander
Will you have more options for the full keyboard in the future?
We’re no longer offering additional options for the Two HE, as it’s less popular compared to our 60HE and 80HE models. We are considering an updated version in the future, but that will take some time.
^Sander
Any suggestions to fix the rattling spacebar?
Lubricate the stems but it’s a different process than switches. There are some really good vids and also maybe look at screw in stabs they are just slightly more reliable
Stabs and lube
Applying some lube to the stabilizer housing might help. The easiest method is to use a Krytox 205G0 lube syringe, available on Amazon or similar retailers.
We've also informed our factory to add a bit more lube to the stabilizers for future customers.
^Sander
when will the 80he get other cases made for it like the tofu redux 60 for the 60he+ ??
Why the white zinc case has no zinc in it according to your website? :))
That is a little oopsie on our side, thanks for noticing it! We will adjust it. :)
^Sander
Hey, what about Black 80HE in my case Zinc LEDs when set to RGB 255 look purple / pink thru keycaps? Is that something that can be improved beside decreasing Red to about 200 and making it look blue?
Black plastic, same here
When you guys say a few months before the white color is available again will it be available before the January batch is shipped to the U.S.?
We don't have any ETA's on it exactly, as we are still trying things out.
^Sander
^Sander
yepppp I want one now
When you will release key caps for the 80 ?
We don't have any current plans for keycaps, but we're always open to new suggestions!
^Sander
I'm aware this isn't the place for this and you probably have your hands more than full with the 80HE but have you considered a 40% board?
The 40% market is too niche for us to do something with currently.
Our 60% is getting to a point that a lot of people think it is getting to small already. :P
^Sander
@@Wooting fair enough. And here I thought 60% boards would be at least as popular as 75/80%. At any rate, thank you for your response.
What's up with the warped zinc cases?
Wait, so will the V2 be even more expensive? Because the keyboard is already expensive, I want it for my birthday, but if the V2 with good white zinc alloy is more expensive I can’t :(
V2 should be the same price as the V1.
^Sander
@@Wooting thank goodness 😅
Im interested in the TWO HE. Are you going to change it?
Two HE will remain as is for a while. We do want to make an updated version on it in the future, but there are no ETAs on that as of now. At least it won't come anytime soon.
^Sander
Good move!
Polling rate is hardware limited, also really doesn't matter on a keyboard.
Comments already kind of said it, but it is hardware limited to get 8K polling.
So in order to get the 60HE running on 8K polling we'd need to update the whole PCB and make a second version of the 60HE.

Drop the black with speckles pcr design please
Tbh, I kinda liked that one as well. Would be fun to make it a limited edition run or something.
But it is highly likely, that it won't happen. :(
^Sander
@@Wooting sadness😭😭
You guys should really add the strap on the new and improved white zinc alloy case v2 ❤
Will you guys be making aluminum cases as well or will that only be done by the third party companies?
For the current design, we haven't used aluminum because its flow properties make it difficult to fill the small crevices in our design. Zinc alloy performs better in this regard. If we opt for a simpler case design in the future, we might consider using aluminum, though I’m not too familiar with that process.
