I lost a car at the inaugural Charlotte race because of a turnout worker that had no clue what he was doing. Waved me off right into the path of a car that had lost its brakes and smashed me right into the sand trap.
Terrifying close call a side impact at the end of the race could have killed either or both rider's. Motorcycle drag racer's are fearless . She really saved the day a true professional !!!
This Four Wide format is a joke that is turning this sport into a chaotic circus.. esp concerning the staging process. For some reason NHRA really want's it, and it clearly frowns upon drivers mentioning anything negative about it on camera.. and/or from those guys on the mics, too.
WTH was the track worker doing at 6:25, cause it sure as Hell wasn't his job! He/she is there at the end of the strip for a reason, to direct traffic!! Smh, As for the 4wide 💩 it absolutely SUCK'S, TOO MUCH going on to even enjoy watching it, it don't really matter though, I'll never buy a ticket to a 4wide event, but Marcus Smith is a billionaire & he isn't gonna miss my money 🤷🏻♂️
All these people in the comments sound dumb I was actually at the race stayed thru a 2 hour rain delay and still had an amazing time if you want to enjoy the race for real get off your ass and go watch it live.
