In my opinion you focus a little too much on screwing your opponents with your picks. Instead of going for a decent good or even strong setup you tend to pick something worse just to make it harder for your oppenent. That might work in some Games but not in the majority of Games. Focusing on getting a good setup yourself and outplaying your opponents during the Game should reduce the luck component of the Game and get you back on the winning track.

That first game, 10, 9,5, & 4,3,8 was a better set up plus you start with the ore

Yeah I do tend to lean more defensive, thank you for pointing that out. That being said what would you have picked on these boards?
