WOW! I have read the Dark Night of the Soul a couple of times in my life. I can see the stages I reach and even revert to. Yet, not once in my life did I ever ascribe the three stages to the Bible or the Mass. This illuminates the work of St. John of the Cross in such a new and AMAZING way!!! I can see the parts of the Bible more clearly thanks be to God due to the formation I'm in for the Permanent Diaconate. Amazing how God teaches us, and through Grace reveals His lessons in such small and in this case BIG AHA moments. Thank you Fr.
Fr Chris, thank you🙏🙏🙏for introducing us to Fr Bryce🙏❤️🔥🙏His heart is on fire for the Lord and he is a good shepherd to his people 🙏❤️🔥🙏 Thank you Fr Bryce and all MIC for answering the call 🙏✝️🙏

What a blessing he is to his flock. I am in awe. And I LOVE the cowboy hat. I pray for all holy priests every day at the Consecration. What a blessing they are to all of us. Praying for you Father Chris and all
Fr. Chris! All of your Living Divine Mercy television shows are good, but this was one of the best! Thanks and God bless you, your Marian Brothers, and all of the Marian Helpers!
Thank you, Father Chris, for this wonderful episode on how to be holy. The scenery was incredible and the material was upbeat. What wasn’t there to love about Father Lungren’s story? The magnificent setting of the Rocky Mountains for me symbolized the omnipresence of God in our lives. Watching brought to mind your frequent teaching to “keep our focus on the Creator, not the creatures” ( i misquote I’m sure) and I also remember Father Matthew preaching a similarly themed homily about Jesus asleep in the boat. The readings by Anna and Father Joe also illustrated the simple choice: pursue holiness or not! However, the part that really jumped out at me personally was Father Lungren saying “Spiritual life is like being on a bucking bronco, it will dump you in a hurry if you’re not careful”. It reminded me of something that Jim Wahlberg said last week as he used the expression “moment of grace”. These are two men, whose early family lives could not have been more different, but their message was the same loud and clear teaching you and your brothers give us every day as you guide us on the road to holiness. You say, KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON THE CREATOR, and not on the creature. When one is offered God’s grace, that’s when the worthwhile work really begins. I was telling someone just today. I was following all the rules as a lukewarm Catholic, and slightly misguided by a relativist conscience. Then BAMMM My head still spins! I pray that I never go back there. I thank God every day for His plan for me, and I’m happy to be a work in progress. I’m wishing you safe and fruitful travels to Orlando. I’ve asked my “winter pastor” to include Ireland in the prayer intentions tomorrow. 🙏🏼✝️Happy Saint Patrick’s Day ☘️💚

DEAR FATHER CHRIS. I PRAY AND HOPE YOU ARE WELL. PLEASE COULD YOU TELL ME OF MAKING A CROSS OUT OF PALMS ON PALM SUNDAY IS ALLOWED AND ACCEPTABLE BY OUR CATHOLIC CHURCH. MY MOTHER WHO IS 77 YEARS OLD JUST MESSAGED ME AND SAID THAT SHE HEARD THE FOLLOWING.. I SHALL QIUTE HER.. "Today at Mass, Father explained & requested that we should not make cross out of palm, which we get on Palm Sunday... Palms were used to Welcome Jesus with Cries "Hosanna in the Highest".... Which is a cry of praise and also means Save us... But when we make a cross out of the palm we convert Palm Sunday into "Good Friday" and showing the cross would mean "Crucify him"... Someone made a cross out of palm way back and that was followed and became a tradition, it is time we change these old traditions... " Please don't make a cross out of Palm, this Palm Sunday. He request to go home and share this with others, hence posting It." DEAR FATHER CHRIS PLEASE GUIDE ME SO THAT I IN TURN CAN GUIDE MY MOTHER.
