You guys, things aren’t exactly great between Chloe and Maddie Ziegler, and people are blaming this on Dance Moms.
If there's one show that you should binge-watch if you want to learn to be mean, Dance Moms is the one. Literally, for years, Dance Moms has ranked high when it comes to the worst shows that ever aired on TV. And let me tell you, even the recent reunion was a straight-up emotional rollercoaster. It was all tears, handkerchiefs soaked in mascara-streaked agony, hugs that were more like desperate embraces, and more tears.
But in the middle of all the chaos, there was one voice that cut through the noise like a sharp knife through butter- Chloe Lukasiak's…and we have to talk about this.
For Chloe, attending this reunion was more like a moment to finally open up about all the pain she had to put up with in the hands of none other than Abby Lee Miller herself. And let me tell you, it's enough to make your blood boil.

It’s kind of weird to paint the picture as Abby AND Maddie ruined her life. It was Abby’s words and Abby sabotaging her. Maddie was a child and Chloe herself has stated that it was Abby’s fault not Maddie. She even said Maddie is like a sister to her even though they don’t see each other as often.
THIS!! I’m glad they both understand that Abby manipulated things and tried to paint Chloe as jealous and mean, but they always were still friends. I feel like their moms unknowingly had a hand in them not being as close as they could’ve been, right along with Abby and production. The reason I say that is because they weren’t the closest on the show, and when an argument was really bad the girls feelings would often get hurt unintentionally, because of how heated they’d be and they wouldn’t think that what they said was bad in the moment. I’m glad the moms have shown their growth and they’re regrets about what happened in the past ❤

And I’m proud of them all for being able to go through such a difficult time such as dance moms, and still come out being great human beings. Though I wish Christi wouldn’t trash talk Melissa and her children, her healing process is a little further behind, but I always have faith in everyone!

Can we all just take a moment to recognize how absolutely _beautiful_ these girls grew up to be. (Although admittedly, Jojo looks ridiculous.)
Poor, poor Chloe. I always thought she had more talent than most of the other girls. The way she spun...it was magical. I always hurt for her. She seemed so sweet and vulnerable. It makes me angry that her mother didn't do a better job of protecting her.
ETA: I _never_ said Jojo isn't beautiful, folks. She is. All of these -girls- _women_ are gorgeous. When I say she looks ridiculous I'm talking about her branding which _never_ stops. I do feel it's ridiculous, because there should be a point where the branding stops and the real person shows through. I feel like the poor girl never gets to just be Jojo. But I _NEVER_ and would never make fun of her looks (or anyone else's). Please stop making assumptions and putting words in my mouth.

Unpopular opinion: but i don't think it's all Abby's fault tbh...i think Abby is acting like that on the show is because of the producers of the show. they wanted Abby to be rough and very mean to the girls..and they know that it's gonna effect thier life's but they want and do it anyways. I stopped watching dance moms after Season 4 when Chloe and Christi left. I watched season 5-7 few years later after hearing Chloe and Chriisti return to Dance Moms in 2017.

I feel Chloe. Although I underwent surgery, I used to have a cross eye. I've underwent three surgeries, and this one seems to be staying the same. Unpopular opinion: I genuinely don’t think the pyramid ranking system was not all bad. If I was slacking or if my skills weren’t good enough, I would want to know. I would also want to know what I should be doing and how I should be doing something by seeing who’s doing it right. I like seeing who is where so that there’s room for improvement for everyone. Even the person at the top of the pyramid cause they have to fight to stay there. I feel like it encourages everyone to fight for the top spot.

They all have stated Abby was not the way she was before the show. If she just stuck to her true self and not allowed her relationships with the mothers to dictate how she treated the girls, they would probably have a good relationship with her now. You obviously have missed the interview that Abby did where she said that she wanted Chloe and Christi gone because they didn't sign the ALDC contract and production said no that they are still on the show so you have to let them in. I feel so bad for all of the girls, Chloe is amazing and grown into a respectful lovely young lady. Chloe went through abuse and I appreciate how strong all of the girls were. Chloe you are WAY MORE than enough.
Abby was very cruel. But think about this. In our everyday lives, we are ranked constantly. We are ranked in school, work, clubs, sports, and even in the entertainment industry and sports. There are top players in professional sports. There are top students in classes. There are valedictorians and class rankings. There are club presidents and head cheerleaders. At work, there are promotions doe some and not for others. I'm not condoning Abby’s cruelty at all. I'm just saying we are surrounded by rankings in our entire lives.
I don’t want to say the show was scripted but the producers did a lot of dirty work to all the cast. With Abby, she was genuinely a great dance teacher, the show turn her into the monster we all love to hate now. Plus, I wouldn’t say Abby and Maddie, I would say Abby, Melissa, and producers. Melissa knew what she was doing, she was the ultimate dance mom, that wanted fame and money so badly she didn’t care what her kids went through. She took her from one monster to another (Sia). Until Maddie was old enough and mature enough to know what she wanted for herself.
