- The Arc60 was a breeze the first time I built it, and even playing with all the configs mine unit didn't have this issue. But OH BABY THIS WAS TOUGH. I hope the client ended up liking it!

NGL first time I built the arc plateless, didn't use the alignment pins/didn't take the mid-piece out so my caps sat way higher than intended. Couldn't figure it out until I actually went through all the arc60 supplies and found the alignment pin cylinders lol.
Plateless arc60 has been my favorite typing experience so far!
Anyone knows what deskmat Alex is using? The big one, not the one from KEEBMAT
the hangul look on the all purple gmk is pretty nice, as a half korean i hope i can pick those up one day 😭
For those that want a nice, nondestructive way of cleaning your boards of embedded grime, dust, stains or little foam bits stuck to your board... using automotive clay bar over does wonders to get it perfectly clean again.

Question do you build customers keyboards on stream? That's really neat if that's what you normally do.
Every build I do is always streamed for clients! Actually Id say most of my streams are commissions

I'm also thinking about joining the GMK MTNU buy, been looking for that kind of profile to replace the stock OSA keycaps on my Keychron K8 Pro without deviating from that classic/retro look. I like that side profile on the Arc60, and the chamfer(?) along the front.

MTNU looks like fisher price just like MT3 does. Especially the legends and font. Straight downgrade from the Cherry imo.
yeah they look so mid. not moving away from their traditional cherry profile for now

MTNU looks interesting especially since it's PBT. I think I have some allergy or sensitivity to ABS, and my hands sweat perfusely when using any abs related keycaps.
Are you messing around? If not that's some wild shit, I never heard of that before.
@@It_needs_to_be_said i wish. I literally found out akko pbt keycaps had abs in the blend because my hands started sweating on them. Took me about a year after i sold them off before i randomly found that out on some forums.
Tbf, i have generally sweaty palms, but abs seems to make it worse.

@@z4k1_zaki65 I didn't even say he shouldn't be in the hobby. I'm not gatekeeping ffs. It's like holding a gun. Even a kid can shoot it, but knowing how to hold it properly and optimally makes a difference in speed and accuracy, the same as typing speed
