The Sin65 & Iced Latte Switches - My Thoughts

MY THOUGHTS:
I have pronounced this keyboard wrong more than I can count, but the Sin65 from Wind Studios is a treat! I've said this a number of times, but I think this 250 - 350 price range of keyboard can be tough to break into. You need to make something either beautiful, new, or just plain special.
The Sin65 does indeed do something special here mixed in with some pretty looks. It can be mounted two ways, both of which sound awesome, and has a rippled weight and fun side profile. It does do an "exploded" ESC key which doesn't bother me at all, but may be odd.
I took a look at the semi transparent version and there was one major flaw which I already pointed out to them, which was the lack of threaded inserts. This is just not acceptable anymore in plastic boards of any price point. When I spend money on something, I want it to last. And by not having an insert in which the screw can properly thread into without destroying the PC is just not something I like. It does look like they are looking into this. After-all, thats what protos are for!
Overall the board feels great and leans to a deeper more bassy sound profile, which is amazing.

Hey Alex, where do you get your containers to store your keycaps? Looking to organize mines as well and those containers seem to fit a whole set well.

Top mount with the long poles sounds a bit thin. I think it sounds brighter rather than deeper. But not bad. The gasket makes the sound more balanced and more pleasant with the long poles definitely. Plateless in the alu case would be interesting I reckon. Proprietary daughterboards are archaic and shouldn't be normalised. Wish Wind would pack it in and just use S1/C4 or Fly DBs
Bit of a different question, just wanted to know where or how you customized you're mx master mouse? I been eyeing that mouse for some time, but think the original design is a bit boring.

sucks that it does not have an underglow. i would have easily get one if it did.
I wish he said what he thought of the switches after typing on them. He talked about the a little before using them but not after.

Correction: this isn’t polycarbonate, it’s acrylic, which is a turn off for me personally, especially it’s same price as aluminium
Oh yeah totally didn't see this on the website. The original convo translated to polycarbonate (composite) to me, but I'm almost hesitant this is acrylic. I'll 100% get more answers here directly from them.
