This is going to sound stupid but where did you get these little ramps to help lift the car? I can't find them anywhere. I have no idea what they are specifically called either.
So I just bought an 03 350z and I have code p0171 but no vacuum leaks. Also code for sensor bank 1 and 2. I was recommended to replace maf to see if it’ll fix the issue (my maf is an after market one) it idles just fine but once it hits high rpm it’ll run lean. Any idea what could be going on? I don’t mind fixing it I enjoy it but figure it out coming from a 2jz ge to a vq De is a different ball game in a sense of knowing where things are. Thanks
Of course! Yup both cats have a sensor in them. If youre getting a code for o2 2nd sensor then yes, if not, dont worry about it. The front 2 sensors are a lot more crucial for engine efficiency and performance
My z has been stuttering/choking while driving. So the rpms would /will struggle to go up and ill be going slow af. I preplaced the tb sparks vvts(both of them) maf and nothing. Itll run good but then start choking again. Any ideas why??(i do have p1114 Nd p0134 codes )
Hello, I have a malfunction in my Nissan z350, and no one has been able to fix it. The car does not exceed 2RBM. I want to send you a video of the car problem. How much is that possible, please?
I have P0420 code in my 350z. Hoping it’s just the o2 sensors. If you know anything about that code can you let me know what or which sensors I need too replace because I hear people needing 3-2. (Just got the z)
That code could be multiple things. But if you wanna confirm if its the o2 sensor, switch the bank 1 and bank 2 sensors and see if the code changes. That code is usually for a catalytic converter but could also be a rich or lean condition
@@tylerlesko5895 I appreciate it man. Thanks for the help. I gotta replace the upstream right so I think I can do it now. Then the left catalytic🤦♂️ .

Hey bro I have an 06 g35 with many codes P1148 P1168 P0051 P1148 P0031 Most of them have to do with upstream sensors but my car has had a misfire for 2 months now and something is making my cylinder 5 and 6 injectors not to inject gas, changed them already and still nothing, new coils, new maf, new sparks
Im still having issues with both of my o2 sensors as well. My tuner recommended only using oem sensors with these cars cause the tolerances are really strict. I would check all the wiring going to these sensors, there could be a break in the wire or a short somewhere. The misfire is probably throwing your o2 sensors off though. A common problem is also the cam sensors going bad so maybe check those as well?
@@tylerlesko5895 hey, I just changed the camsensors today and the 02 sensors and the car doesn’t even turn on now, when my car starting having problems my battery drained, so I’m buying a new battery tomorrow to see if this solves my issue but I’m going to check for bad wires, because my car was taking long to crank and taking long to take off, out of nowhere, because the car the day before was not doing this, and thought it was the sparkplugs, changed them and my car started having a bad misfire
@@sweatyyy8524 you think you could tell me what you did and how u fixed the ecu ? I'm having trouble with a misfire I've changed and checked many things so far , thank you

Just a heads-up for 350z owners..03-04 year O2 oxygen sensors upstream, have a different end plugs then later year models
How many o2 sensors does it have
Thanks for the instructions
No problem!

THANKS A LOT FOR RESPONSE 👍THIS IS A 2004 350Z AND IT HAS 2 MOR SENSOR RIGHT IN EACH CATALYTIC , DO YOU THINK AM I NEED TO REPLACE THOSE TOO?

Nice job! Thanks!
Thank you! I hope this helped you out!
any brand that you recommend? I have a 370 and I have a fault on bank 1 also its the same process on a 370?
Are these the ones regarding p1147? I can't seem to find the location of the sensor online

most likely o2 sensors having same issue with my Z hr just changed my spark plugs also so going to change my o2s
Should I replace sensors with the original or can I use an aftermarket?
I would use either oem or denso
Nice ride bro love my z too
So this is considered the upstream 02 sensor?
Yes this would be the upstream sensor

i think thats bad catalytic converter

No problem! Im glad this helped you!
What size is the sensor socket tool 3/8 or 1/2
The socket is 3/8 drive. You can find it on amazon or any auto parts store
does a p0171 gotta do with the 02 sensor ?
Ever find out?
AFTER REPLACE THEM AM I NEED TO RESET THEM?👍
Nope, just swap out the old ones and youre good to go!
Where’d you buy the sensors
I got them off rockauto. They sell denso and oem nissan o2 sensors
Bank 2 is passengee side???
Bank 1 sensor 1 is passenger side
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT IS THE SOCKET SIZE PLEASE?
I recommend buying a o2 sensor socket but if not its 7/8"
Do you know if it would be the same for an 07 z?
Yeah itll be the same procedure for all years
@@tylerlesko5895 thanks man, so I reckon the tools should be the same as well ?
@@jafethgarcia4819 Yup thats correct! Most o2 sensors are 7/8" (22mm) on every car. You should be all good to go👍

You think autozone ones are good o2 sensors?
I like to stay away from part stores cause they overprice their parts and usually sell cheaper brands. I would use denso or oem for these sensors
Do anybody know on 2004 nissan 350z stock...are all 4 O2 sensors accessible for diy replace?
Yes all 4 are pretty easily accessible
Bank 2 is passanger side?
Bank 2 is the drivers side
IS THERE ONLY TWO SENSORS IN THIS CARS?
There is 2 sensors before the catalytic converter and 2 sensors after. The ones after the cat would be bank 1 or 2, sensor 2
