I eat one meal a day. I eat liver and steak with lots of fat. The results have been astounding. My PTSD is gone and my muscles are getting enormous. I'm almost 74 and getting stronger every month.

I am on day 5 of my 24 hour fasts. I feel lighter, have more clarity and am feeling very relaxed. The other added benefit has been deep sleep which I have not had for a very long time. Looking forward to starting a 48 hours fast next month. Thank you. I started this journey after watching your channel and find it ever so educational. I doubt I would have had the courage to start the fasts otherwise.

Thank you for sharing your great personal experience with fasting! It is so great to hear that we could inspire you to try fasting but we would still recommend doing it, especially for the first time medically guided like in our clinics. We wish you all the best.

I did a 8 day water fast in 2020, then a 21 day water fast in 2021 and i am now on day 7 of another 21 day water fast, so far so good. I only drink diluted apple or cranberry juice (20% juice 80%water) after day 3 in the mornings and afternoons. Other than that just water. I walk 30mins a day.
I fast to detox my body and mind. I fast hoping to come out stronger and be in control of what i put into my body, my flesh must obey. I struggle a lot with binge eating sweets, chocolates and cake (i am a baker). Funny enough when i fast i have a lot of energy and cook the most delicious meals for my family everyday without even tasting, they keep praising me. When i don't fast, sometimes for me having to cook for the family is such a tedious exercise.
My skin is already much clearer, no new pimples are appearing and i just feel lighter and great. I have also lost 4kg so far and that is a great benefit.

We do not recommend only water fasting, since it is very stressful for the body.
According to the fasting method of our founder Dr. Otto Buchinger, you can also take in teas, juices, and soups, besides water. Our scientific studies show that it boosts your energy and does not break fast. Watch our video for the scientific explanation here: ua-cam.com/video/R6g6j66XXC0/v-deo.html

I am so happy I came across the Buchinger Wilhemi youTube channel. It's very detailed discourses on fasting has taught me so much more than I know about fasting. I testify that through intermittent fasting, I was able to lose adequate weight within 3-4 months in 2021, normalize high blood pressure and get off BP drugs till date. I do different lengths of fasting so as to keep my body and psyche enthusiastic to fast, and had the most profound experience when I did my first 72hrs water fast..for days after that, a feeling of wholeness, calmness and wellbeing filled my body and consciousness, and I could actually perceive these profound feelings deep inside my body cells; like a heightened level of awareness of overall wellbeing. I believe I shall fast for life, and continue exploring the vast benefits it provides. Thank you so much for your diverse UA-cam topics. Please keep up the excellent work. So so many people are being helped through these wonderful presentations. May God continue to bless you all at Buchinger Wilhemi Clinic for all you are giving to humanity. I am most sincerely grateful.
    Sincerely,
    Gomez

I have been intermittent fasting over the past 12 months and have experienced many benefits. I have done a 5 day fast and I am planning a 21 day fast. What do I need to be mindful of going into it?

There's a million reasons I fast. Mostly in the hope of living longer, aging slower, and counter balancing my diet of coffee, a donut, and tacos.

Good but I have been fasting OMAD (I eat 1 time a day) for 6 months now because I am diabetic 2 but the problem remains in the morning with sugar 1.30-1.36 while 2 hours after eating it is less instead of higher.. At the same time I do not eat sweets and carbohydrates. I walk 6-8km. I sleep pretty well. I wonder why it doesn't get better.

@@doctork1708 For fat I eat olive oil, olives, avocado, nuts, goat butter, kefir, cheese, eggs, etc. Is there anything else? My sugar does not rise 1-2 hours after eating and is always noticeably lower in the morning. How do you explain it? Please reply.. Thanks a lot!

Please don't worry and don't give up, you are on the right track! I've read this is normal in the beginning for us with type 2 Diabetes... please check out Dr. Mindy Pelz's channel who explains this and Dr. Berg's channel also. It can take longer than a year to correct Insulin Resistance (get your Fasting Insulin levels check, this will tell you a lot).
High blood sugar in the morning takes time to correct because the body is still dumping stored sugar. Go 'Clean Keto", don't do none of this "keto treats" which are loaded with hidden starches and drink 1tablespoon with 3oz. of water of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar 15 minutes before each meal and before bed drink 1/2 (or a little less) of organic cinnamon with hot tea...all this helps with insulin regulation. Lastly, in Dr. Mindy Pelz's channel she mentions the importance of switching up your fasting hours because the body gets use to one time frame and can stall. Anyway, it's a process and yes it can be VERY frustrating when you are doing everything right 🤦...but the important thing is NEVER give up on your healing journey 👍

Please answer. Why do you promote drinking any kind of liquid as fasting? That is not fasting.
