That was so cool and fun to watch. Thx for sharing it with us. That’s what I need to be doing living in a house with a porch playing the blues! Very cool and inspiring. 🤘🏾🎸
Really enjoyed that, infact Love it! 🤙I never get tired of the Blues in its many forms, be looking forward to more videos, im away to record some 12 bar blues right now, and to think I was gonna put it off till tomorrow until I looked up some inspiration to get me started, that's the part I usually struggle with, there's always something else to do. And it's usually the first recording that is the best so I always record everything even the practices. So, never put aside doing the things you love doing the most. Just do it
Hey Mike, I recommend doing what I did to get into the swing of it. Start by just looping a basic 12-Bar Blues Riff on a loop pedal or in some software and then begin to record yourself soloing over the top - the rest will just flow from there. Cheers.
Awesome! Love the blues and any other music that comes from it, jazz, rock n roll especially. Really enjoyed this, hope you have a good Christmas my guy 👍🏻
I like playing stuff like that too. I bought a looper but I haven't learned to work it easily yet. I just bought a TC electronic SDRUM pedal and I hope I can work it along with that looper when I busk around for the heck of it. (although I may not be able to use it when busking , it seems to pull a lot of juice seeing as it actually gets warm to the touch) Have you ever tried a SDUM pedal? You might like it. I guess they made a looper that would sync up with it but I am not buying that unless I have too. I hope I can make it work with what I have.
I have the SDRUM but I find that it's a lot of work. A better option for many people is the Boss RC-3 or RC-5 looper that have a set of drum presets built in. A stomp box before the looper works well too, since a bassy thump is really all you need as Justin Johnson has shown many a time.
@@hillwellford9637 I can't use my Sdrum really, but I have jammed along to it but the thing will have volume issues. It will fade out and then ease back in again. Do you have that problem?
Man I’m saying. I’m back again after 7 months still trying to figure out this guys set up. Sounds like a blues driver and a compressor. Just don’t know exactly. Sounds killer tho.
Awesome playing! The sound quality is superb. What type of looper are you using? I am just starting out again after retiring.....50 years ago when I was in high school, the pedal selection was very limited.
Still one of my favorite blues jam
😊
When somebody who isn't a musician asks me what Blues is and why I love it I show them this video.
My looper just gave me a “Dude, WTF” look! Awesome jam!

Nice ol blues jam bro! I can play over that for hours....Thanks dude!
Love this porch jam!
You rock man! Well done bro!
Excellent 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
great job
Proving once again that you don't need a million notes to play da blues.
That’s basically all I’ve been doing with my looper since I got it.
I prefer to make my own background tracks. I’ve learned so much more that way.
Nice play!
From Japan.😄
Nice collection of licks, George. Well jammed!
Nice setup, love the arrangement.
Great looper work the first time I see Tommy Emanuel I thought he was using a looper but for us more mortals a looper is definitely the way to go

Impressive!
Absolutely nice set - I hope to get on this level one day 😅
This is exactly what front porches are made for. It's a Southern thing.
How do you mean?! What else could be done there? ;)
This guy is great! I practice doing exactly the same thing but ain't nobody going to watch me doing it... LOL!
Nice tone! Nice jam.
awesome
I'm waiting for that amp to light a cigarette & grab a bottle of bud.
Awesome! Love the blues and any other music that comes from it, jazz, rock n roll especially. Really enjoyed this, hope you have a good Christmas my guy 👍🏻

@@kingorbit No, that's a new one to me.
Do you have any tabs for this bro? Amazing looping man. Well Done...
It’s a 12 bar blue shuffle with some standard blues licks here and there topped off with improv
There’s even a SRV lick in there
Sounding killer man! What pedals are being used in this besides the looper?
maaan howd u get this tone?? i HAVE to know
u heart comment but dont tell me? dont do this to me!
Man I’m saying. I’m back again after 7 months still trying to figure out this guys set up. Sounds like a blues driver and a compressor. Just don’t know exactly. Sounds killer tho.
See reply to Curtis Mayo above ^^
@@antonclaux3951 i cant find it. Care to @ me in the replies?
I hear me som SRV inspo
That was Awesome Bro! looks like so much fun. what looper pedal do you have?
adam dev it’s a Boss DD-7 Digital Delay Pedal in (HOLD Mode)
could I have the tablature please
Hey, this was just a full improv solo in the moment over a 12 bar blues in E, so I don’t have any tabs.
Awesome playing! The sound quality is superb. What type of looper are you using? I am just starting out again after retiring.....50 years ago when I was in high school, the pedal selection was very limited.
I’m using the “HOLD” function on a Boss DD-7 Delay Pedal.
@@GeorgeCrowe2 That is interesting, thank you.
