@@ameliamignonettethermopoli7858I’m more of a crocheter/knitter but I’d imagine beginners might color code or have a trick to keep it in order. after 70 years it’s not necessary! I remember when I started my fiber arts journey it was hard to tell the stitches apart from each other but with time it’s easy (and easy to spot mistakes lol)
@@trustingintuition I mean idk, a pattern is one thing, but those little wooden things roll and bounce around so with the intricate designs with so many small threads it's really insane how they can find the ones they need so fast
@@InuInugami anything can become second nature with time and practice. 70 years is a lot of time to spend practicing a craft

I want to start learning this! I'm a recreational mathematics guy, and I've been specifically working on knot theoretic problems (for about the last 5 years, anyway). This is really amazing stuff. It's basically just braid diagramming. Very beautiful work.

@@lubovkomandikova4203нужно знать плетение определенных элементов, из которых составляется кружево,практика ....и получается волшебство! Изучала давно кружево плетение. Оторваться не было сил...Но очень много времени уходит на одно изделие!

C'est juste un système de nœuds à réunir pour former différents points. On commence par un petit nombre de nœuds et on augmente progressivement, c est ça, la dentelle au fuseaux, une histoire de patience et de logique, qui à la fin donne des merveilles ❤

I’ve become fascinated with skill and experience. I’ve been at the park every day before work practicing my jump shot and I make 80% of my shots.
I have never ever seen anything so complex be effortlessly done. I will never look at lace the same ❤

@@DarkLordBubbles so many, too many. My aunt does shadow embroidery. It's where you use a very fine linen and embroider under the fabric so you just get a hint of the design. I'm like naw, thanks. If I'm doing all this work, it's gonna be VISIBLE. I gave up years ago trying to do everything. Imma just sit here doing granny squares, y'all have fun.

It took me a second to realize they were already making lace, I thought they were like shuffling them around to set them up correctly to start making the lace but no they are just that fast and frantic at lace making. Incredible skill!
As a woodturner, I wish more people would see this and want to try it. I could make a killing on carving those bobbins!
