hi, when do you rebuilt the valves, is it like when vaccumm failed you do it, or even if vaccum test passed and if there are concerns on lazy shifting you will rebuild valves
Will this kit fix all the problems that GM issued a TSB for? Bulletin 18-NA-358 Looks like a better option than buying a new valve body as the TSB suggest.
Great video! I'm having problem with my 2014 acadia. Cruzing speed 57 and if any slight grade uphill it cuts out. Torque converter lock up breaking just for a second. Had it rebuilt with new converter and still doing it. Help!
We got a reman valve body and tecm and it fixed it for a while but started having differnt shifting problems. Yours sounds to be the typical tq conv problems. But whats causing all the torque converters to go out
why did you decide to put a zip kit in that one? i have one thats got a shift flare but i had to replace the TECM because not only were the pressure switch discs were damaged but they didnt ohms out correctly. I had it remote flashed with my Matco Maxiflash and the adaptive learn cleared. then i got the shift flaring.
I was just looking for something on this. My 2012 Impala LT is getting up in miles and will likely need a transmission rebuild in the not so far off future. It's doing fine for now, but I understand these 6T70 transmissions tend to fail around 140,000-160,000 miles. I've been watching various videos on Sonnax improvement products for these transmissions. I don't know if my 2012 is a gen 1 or gen 2 transmission? Could you put the part number for both 6T70 generations valve body zip kits? Thanks for the video. I subscribed.

great video! the details and tips are priceless!
Thank you
The Zip kit for the 6F50 is nearly identical although I remember it having another valve or two in the kit.
did you replace the control channel plate and ball plate too as suggested in another training video on here?
Great Video!!
Thanks we're trying to get in a groove
do you guys ever reem out the accumulators with the transgo tool and parts?

did you resolve it? I have similar issues between 40-55. I think it is the torque converter.

The biggest issue was variance in line pressure it was not stable at all
Is this needed for a Gen 1?

I will definitely get the part numbers up on Monday
