- This video is a test of old vs new golf clubs. Mark Brooks, a 7-time PGA Tour winner and 1996 PGA Champion, joins to conduct some testing of old vs new golf clubs. More specifically, Mark tests his old TaylorMade Raylor 4-wood against some new PING G430 fairway woods and hybrids.
In this video, Mark and 2nd Swing's Drew Mahowald use Trackman technology at 2nd Swing's Dallas store location to identify the similarities and differences in this old vs new golf clubs test.

I love how these old school guys talk about the game.
❤ the series of videos with Mark, sharing his timeless experiences and techniques !!!
Go Mark! I'm into this kind of golf talk!
I really like these episodes 👍🏻🙏
Great video. Mark Brooks was a favorite of mine when he was on tour.
He’s a wealth of info, great ball streaker. When I’m on my game, moving the ball is helpful, fun…Those who started with balata, blades can really relate to this. Thanks…
Really enjoyable and enlightening. Please do several more videos.
Awesome guy to have come through the shop!
1.5 smash with consistency with that g430 in his hands. my goodness.
Met Mark up here in Calgary several times over the years....Great guy....so down to earth .
Live these old pro with old gear talking about how they use modern gear. Thanks, Mark for being so generous with time and knowledge....did you say that Lee lives in Dallas? He's never been shy in front of a camera...would he consider....😉
Great Mark, love it.
Just awesome. Love it.
High quality content here. Fascinating knowledge from Mark. How cool would it be to have regular contributions from former tour pros.
Outstanding!
So good can not wait for driver
This was really cool
This is a great video
I love these vids, especially these newer ones with Mark Brooks. But i do have a question about the launch monitor data --- how is he getting a positive attack angle of 2.0 degrees or more hitting it off the mat? That doesn't seem quite possible, while still maintaining such a high smash factor (
The amount of control is insane
