Marriage truly isn’t or wasn’t a state run ideal. It’s a religious one. God joins man and wife. And what god joins , no man can separate. Laws were even enacted to make sure of this , for instance. You can’t force a husband or wife to testify against a spouse. Conjugal visits between married couples when one is in prison etc. Now it’s simply become monetized by the state. What should be done is a renaming of the union for the state. Make it a new type of corporation or something. Leave the marriages back to where they belong. In the eyes of god. I have great sympathy for gay couples. And a part of me has wanted to be ok with it. But if we’re being honest , that’s how this slippery slope to wokeness began. Now we have child mutilation in hospitals for profit and folks running around claiming men can give birth etc. where does the lunacy end ? Maybe it’s time the gay couples speak up and out against the rest of the BTQ-pedo etc …. Is normies who want to be left alone are voting to end the nonsense.
