I recently came upon your channel. I've been wanting to crochet a triangular shawl. All of the tutorials I watched, I only watched for a very few minutes because the teachers were starting out slow and then zoom. I'd get discouraged and start looking for another tutorial. I watched your shawl tutorial and I got it, I actually could see the shape forming and I'm just so pleased. Thank you so much for your patient pace.
This is such a kind comment. Thank you so much, I'm glad my tutorial was helpful. I really enjoy helping others learn as much as possible. 💚🙂
I am making my first Temperature Blanket this year....it is weekly, so every Sunday I use the hi and low and if it's raining that day, I add a rain row using Latte Cake yarn!
Pam, this blanket is starting to take a toll on me and I'm just getting started. I was telling someone else, the wider it gets the more I want to curl up under it a fall asleep but I'm going to keep going. I'm a month or so behind but I haven't stopped yet. 💚😀. I look forward to seeing your updates on your blanket. I like the high and low concept and the rainy day addition, I never thought of doing that...cool.
Some might want to consider doing both highs and lows by dividing the blanket in half for each row as an option for their temperature blanket.
I like it
Thank you
I also like bright colours but there is nothing wrong with these. You will see once it is big, you will love it!
I do actually. I wish i would have incorporated a grey color but I actually do like how the project is shaping up.
Hi Felicia, how are you? It’s been s while since I’ve commented & I wanted to say hello and GREAT JOB with your channel!!!👏👏👏😊 I appreciate this post about the temperature blanket. I am thinking about starting one as well. Your tips are awesome. BTW, I think the green looks good with the brown, think of it as a nature story. Green trees, brown bark, etc..
Hello, how have you been? I'm still plugging along, putting out content every now and then. I get ramped up and then something pulls my attention away...but I love creating content and sharing. Thanks so much for your continued support. I love to see familiar commenters💚. This temperature blanket has been fun to create but the wider it gets the harder it is for me to get through it. I just get so cozy while making it, I tend to fall asleep 🙂🙂😀 I'm still a few months behind but I'm chugging along. Also, the colors are starting to grow on me too. I like the pattern too so that is a plus.
Thank you soo much! I always say I want to do a temperature blanket but I forget when January rolls around. Now I won’t feel bad playing catch up. I also have a question?!? You may have given the information and just missed it. But… do you calculate day by day or a week’s average or monthly? Thanks again. Happy crocheting 🧶
You are so welcome! I'm doing a daily average. I always want to start in January and I never do 🙃 but I'm starting now. I figure if I do 4-5 rows a day until the end of March, I'll be caught up and then I can work daily or at least weekly.
Ahsel Anne you should check out Hobby Lobby yarn clearance going on. I bought some Alpaca Yarn hanks normally $15.99 for like $3.74 and cotton yarn for less than $2 and other yarn as well. Sugar Cottonwheel yarn for $2.24. The prices are amazing!!! 😃💜
Oh wow! I wish I would have seen your comment sooner. but maybe it's for the best. I'm supposed to be on a yarn diet...but it's not working. haha. 🙂💚
@@AhselAnneCrochet No such thing as a yarn diet. 😹💖
hey i want you to make a cat bed with loop yarn pleasure
