would look pretty rad with an old, iron cast candle holder! I was thinking about adding a car-style cigarette light as a joke but it's really packed anyway :D

Are the side grip holes toddler proof?
Of course: the shielded transformers are placed being the holes so you can’t reach the tubes or any potentially hot parts in there 🙂
I got the OAH-05 for 251 bucks !!! ... once the tubes settled in, it sounded amazing. ( but it obviously needs a swap, into premium tubes, to run wide open all day )
so I have a new production Mullard 12AX7, and Tung-Sol 7189 on my list, as well as a couple spare 6Z4s
What is the OAH-05 ?
@@rosskrause3926 little 5 watt tube amp i am going to use for recording... the tubes that come with it are not that great.
@@rosskrause3926 I found this awesome little 8 inch neo speaker for $80...it's about as loud as a G12M, and has an Fs of 76hz and a response similar to a Celestion Blue....that new Mullard will probably give me quite a bit more clean head room, so I might even be able to use it for small gigs.
@@rosskrause3926 the whole rig will be small enough to put on a table, with only the microphones between the speaker and my guitar strings....I should be able to crank up my headphones loud enough to hear my other tracks.

Guess it seems bigger than it is because the amp is rather compact - it’s just big enough to allow for easy access to all 6 switches 😊
