My favourite bit is when he goes up one side and then goes up the other. Only joking but to the uninitiated it's just like watching footballs going back and forth and boring but at least in this you really can see how difficult this is especially when you think most people can't even ride down the street on a skateboard. This is like superhero stuff.
You ain't lying bro Ive always been a street skater but I've been trying vert recently and it's so hard i dont even know how someone can come up with that many diff tricks in a row like that much less land them all to so sick
Funny how this run was so sick and the majority of his tricks were all old school, methods, lean, stale fish, mute etc, spins don’t always equal wins and definitely not cool points in my book. Say what you want about the man but that’s why I always appreciated Shawn Whites skating old school tricks and heavily snowboard influenced tricks Old school will never die
It's crazy how you can see he's reached a level of comfort, even if it's just on this ramp or the day or whatever, but he just looks so relaxed with all of his tricks. It's like when you're practicing something deterministic, like a video game speedrun, so the motions start to become automatic, unlike a sport where it's constantly throwing new challenges at you, even with something you've done before. He looks automatic, like not only does he have the run choreographed in his head, he's absolutely 100% sure it's going to go smoothly.
Jaw-dropped. I can't remember a smoother more consistent run with such huge, back-to-back 'flow-ee' style. Madonnas are next level--his body-jars are terrifyingly high...I could go on.........
Why have I not seen this before? Or ever heard of him? And so many views with very few likes? Those runs are amazing like Jimmy W's level. Just so good!
That giant front side, Madonna to tail! A mix of so many Spider-Man like tricks flipping and spinning, plus a mastery of style with old school front side hand plants. 🤔 I don’t know anyone else who does backside 540 Ollies right now other than Jimmy and this guy.
Vert never left but compared to street, a lot of skaters do not have access to vert ramps so the evolution of tricks like in street is not really there.
I remeber seeing Tony hawk skate at keirl Park maly Australia in the late 90s, there was a skate comp and demo by hawk and other skaters, there was a presentation at a skate shop for comp and everyone left like a bomb scare to go see hawk there, anyway everyone left and my friends and I still there and hawk and the others come out of the back of a van and were like finnaly we got it to ourselves so I ended up skating with hawk. There was a bowl a small ramp and the big ramp, Tony said it was one of the scariest ramps he had ridden because it was inverted, it had the old school roll in the center. Anyway a few weeks later they cut the ramp in half. I always wondered if Tony said something to the local council.
Then you surely did miss the 80s/early 90's - some dope vert skaters like Chris Miller and Danny Way. Danny Way's stuff makes this run look he's just warming up. Research some Danny Way - he was ahead of his time. Not to say that Edouard is bad but Danny was already on another level, even when he was a kid. He was one of the 1st skaters to try dangerous tricks on a mega ramp.
I have never even had a chance to learn half-pipe or much at all to do with skateboarding which is sad because I'm pretty good to be fair. Just sad I'm going to die without even learning to skate half-pipe but they say there's a heaven that is a half-pipe right?
Well done nice 👍 me know someone else who means the world to me that can skate I hope you are keeping well and are out there skate Steve and Stewart miss you guys big hugs and keep smiling phoenix LoL rock and roll
One thing I have always loved about the Skate Lifestyle is the Music. If you listening closely you can hear Angel Of Death from Slayer in the background and that is AWESOME!!!!
He did mostly regular tricks but it looks more spectacular because compared to the others he added the height to it and it looked smooth, some sketchy but for the most part very smooth. This is why Tony became a legend. He was not known for rad style or height of his tricks but he invented some of the most technical tricks ever and executed them like it's nothing.
"He did mostly regular tricks": frontside grab front 540 no-handed backside 360 front stale to tail over the channel alley-oop tailgrab 540 front noseblunt tailgrab 540 tailgrab back 3 over the channel no-handed back 5 kickflip indy 5
Fuckers ! Ce servir de tony hawk pour du fames ! Oui il a du talent c'est fou mais destroy tony hawk wtf? Tony a 54 ans il t aurais torcher a ton age dans les mêmes circonstance !tout ça pour fes views !
That was so SICK! People have to understand, this stuff is HARD. And, for them to make it look so stylish and easy is beyond me.
Yeah. This is life dedication
Yessirrr!

Some of the cleanest airs I've seen in years!!
man this guy is awesome, how is he not more well known?
Some of the best vert I’ve ever seen , so smooth , looks like he isn’t even trying to force tricks , wow , wow
Gleaming the Cube
That monster 540 kickflip to Indy at about 3:08 was absolutely insane.
Is that what that was? Holy Hell, didn't think that was possible. All the kickflip 5s I've seen are backside or mute.
Edi is unreal!
Smooth, stylish and effortless. 3 minutes 28 seconds of some of the best vert skating I've ever seen.

Old school will never die
So smooth

Yes well put! Also, this was him fresh off of an injury so he was extra juiced to skate!
Jaw-dropped. I can't remember a smoother more consistent run with such huge, back-to-back 'flow-ee' style. Madonnas are next level--his body-jars are terrifyingly high...I could go on.........
This guy is so good. Watching again.
so nice to see his incredibly ease on those runs. Keep going ED !
Incredible how smooth he's doing it. like is no effort. Gotta love all that hang time. He's literally riding like is a videogame.
He's totally smashing it up 🔥🔥🔥
You don't hear him land and he lands just under the coping almost every time
Bravo Édouard magnifique style superbe amplitude gros niveau technique le sourire à la George Clooney That else …

Edouard Damestroyed it.
This video deserves way more likes 👍🏼
Dam that vert ramp had tears after this dude was done with it.
Litterally Like watching a video game. Unreal how smooth that was.
awesome runs. I'm quietly waiting for vert to make its full blown comeback.
Vert never left but compared to street, a lot of skaters do not have access to vert ramps so the evolution of tricks like in street is not really there.
Awesome channel and content guys
So good up there with Jimmy Wilkins
I love hearing Jason Ellis hyping him up on the mic!
Hey there good-looking hope your back on the board LoL rock and roll
Dude was on a mission!!
All the GNAARRRL of the OG pool rippers n some smooth seamless power style.this dude RIPS
Solid-ass run!!!
Can they make a ramp ‘see thru’ … like plexiglass.. I think that would be cool!
Nice, beautiful clean skating.
Fawking awesome style! \m/

Wow! KUDOS so sick!!
NON-stop hammers!
Solid runs.
Incredible
I like to watch half pipe skateboarding with my phone upside to make the tricks look even cooler.
3:10 😬😬😬🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌👏👏🛹🛹👑👑👑
to me, best vert I have ever seen.

Waiting for him to pop a 900
This guy is so fluid .. that's how you sell skateboards.
lord jesus have mercy
Nothing like an 8 foot Madonna.
An 8 foot body jar comes close.
Body jars are so uncomfortable to do i can't watch them. Scary.
between Jjimmy Wilkens and Edouard Damestoy you might as well not even try or get out of bed for that matter
Why does he remind me of Bucky?
I have never even had a chance to learn half-pipe or much at all to do with skateboarding which is sad because I'm pretty good to be fair.
Just sad I'm going to die without even learning to skate half-pipe but they say there's a heaven that is a half-pipe right?
Only someone like that can destroy any other skater
Well done nice 👍 me know someone else who means the world to me that can skate I hope you are keeping well and are out there skate Steve and Stewart miss you guys big hugs and keep smiling phoenix LoL rock and roll
Good God.
VIVE LA FRANCE COCORICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....................
I can't figure out what it is about this that makes it look like CGI to me
I know how to do egg plants. You have to push...with your arm.

WHERE ARE THE B.T.H.S NOW ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Ripper
vertical.
An average session
I didn't see any destruction of Tony Hawks vert.
Vert>street

"He did mostly regular tricks":
frontside grab front 540
no-handed backside 360
front stale to tail over the channel
alley-oop tailgrab 540
front noseblunt
tailgrab 540
tailgrab back 3 over the channel
no-handed back 5
kickflip indy 5
The style reminds me of Gator in the 80's.
HA! GATOR SUX! great skater, though.
I think u never seen Tony Hawk 🤣
sick. whoa. my like is 700, my comment is 70. cool.
This is easy...
.. to watch..
Every ody loves a rodeo snowbro front flip 540 thing.. but near silence for a tweaked stale. Smh. Y'all don't even know what yer looking at.
How a ''tweaked stale" is better ? please enlighten me
I'm grooving on the 7 ft. body jar!
@@kravitz1999 Me, too, Todd. It was sick. Only way to make it sicker if it was a full blown Grosso style body jar.
@@thesluce agreed!
Depressing how stagnant vert skating has been over the decades.
Mind blowing, but dont compare him to a 52 year old Tony Hawk, who was in his prime 25 years ago.
Fuckers !
Wow!
