We use tide pods, but only because we had one too many accidents with spilled laundry detergent. My husband does our laundry and now when he’s done there’s never a big mess to clean up. 😊

Great video. I love how you approached it . I am a sucker for great smelling things !!!!
Try using a pouring spout like the ones for olive oil to make it easier .( I always appreciate easy and clean access to products
Don’t understand estimate the power of bar soap . I clean my beauty blender and face wash cloths with yardley bar soap . It’s faster and cheaper and really gets them super sparkly clean . ( I store the bar in a traveling plastic soap box , not the one that is 2 pieces but the open that open like a chest )
With Clothes I just cover the stained area with liquid laundry soap for 15 Min and just agitate it and maybe use an old toothbrush. This has pretty much removed all nasty stains . Then throw in the laundry as usual .

Hi Kay, I adore fragrances and essential oils. A fragrance designer is a person that builds fragrances from scratch. This person can work in any area of the fragrance world designing for bath & body products, laundry to actually working for a high in company like Coco Chanel or Lancome.

I use Dr Bronner’s Sal’s Suds, only 1 tablespoon per load for a HE washer and it does a good job. Also, biodegradable.👍🏼

I love when you talk "science" because it takes the emotion out of purchases...almost. My visual side falls for pretty packaging! I have the Laundress bar and wondered if you can melt it into a liquid that's easier to apply. A friend is just recovering from chemo and I am thinking of sending her something from the Good Home Co.. It sounds like a little luxury that might brighten her day. This was a great video...thanks!

Thanks for watching! It's definitely not the most practical of things, but I can say that it works well and makes doing laundry kind of fancy!

Thanks for sharing Kay, I myself, like you, enjoying investing in my home. I love luxury from time to time. I’ve been enjoying Caldrea here lately and will definitely try The Good Home. I don’t mind splurging on my unmentionables so I want to keep them smelling and looking nice. I used to buy Victoria’s Secret laundry detergent but it wasn’t $25 😬

Very recently I started making my own cleaning products and scents seem to play a big part. Having a product that does the job well and smells great is definitely a one two punch for me. It makes the task enjoyable. I'm very interested in trying out Laundress now, and this company is a close second. Thank you for your reviews being informative and not sounding like a commercial. I'd love to see more videos along this wavelength. Let's check out these products together sister! Thanks Kay❤❤❤

Kay, thanks so much for this video. I love to try new cleaning products, as I am always trying to make my life a little easier. My newest purchase was a spin mop and I love that thing. I have noticed that recently my towels haven’t smelled great no matter what I try. I think I would like to give this soap a try, at least once. Thank you for this very informative and fun video. How about trying a high end body wash.

My mainstays are Tide & Woolite however, when my family member was diagnosed with cancer I decided to switch and try other detergents. Yes, I have purchased the entire Laundress laundry & cleaning line (used sale prices/% off/ebates) and use sparingly. I've seen good results using way less product than the mainstays albeit I still have them. The smell is amazing but realistically not financially sustainable. I would recommend for the ladies to invest in the delicate wash for your undies and then hang to dry, not only is it a good investment but a treat as well.

Okay! I gotta say I am NOT comfortable about using a GLASS bottle in the laundry room. Especially if you go to a building laundry room like I do. If I accidentally knock over this bottle and it breaks there goes my 25.00. If I knock over my Seventh Generation, I'll be upset, but I won't go insane. It just isn't practical. That brand need a rethink. I'm like your mother, i rather spluge and spend my money on a Hermes bag! 🤣🤣🤣 As always love your videos. Thanks for sharing. 💖💖💖

I agree, Carolyn! Glass bottles & a laundry room do not go together! My daughter does our laundry because the stairs to the community laundry room are steep. This bottle wouldn't last a week!

I definitely buy the Tyler’s diva wash (don’t buy off Amazon it’s not authentic or old) cause even though it’s very expensive, it’s very strong, so a little goes along way. I bought a gallon of the laundress baby detergent and you could smell a light scent in the bottle but none after washing which was a waste of 56 bucks.

  • @tealraine
    @tealraine 6 років тому +1

If it came in a trial size, I would probably consider trying it just b/c I'm curious about the smell. I'm a pour it in/looks about right person- I never measure so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get the maximum number of washes. Even with pods, I just throw in what feels right. I guess if I worked on my wasting habit - I could afford this or at least some Tide😂. I'd like to see luxury dusting products b/c I would try anything that would repel dust for longer especially on my ceiling fans.👍💕❤️

The thumbnail for this video cracked me up! I wish you were a bit more descriptive on the scents. I wish these more expensive brands offered a sample size of these products for a fee. They might get more sales that way. I, personally, would never spend $25 on detergent unless I knew that I loved it. Those scented beads for the vacuum, for example, you don't care for the scent. I wonder if you called their customer service if they would let you exchange it for another scent. Might be worth a try!

i love how they use refillables to refill the glass bottles so they don't have to be resent..however if the refill bottle is plastic it's the same thing as buying a plastic bottle every month..it looks like the refill is plastic and i can't see that' its not do you know?

nakialoves, I absolutely LOVE this Canadian-made product. It feels so “old school” to buy the detergent in a tin. Plus, I go back to the store with my tin and I pay only for a refill! I am now testing Nellie’s dishwasher detergent. So far it doesn’t disappoint.
