We use tide pods, but only because we had one too many accidents with spilled laundry detergent. My husband does our laundry and now when he’s done there’s never a big mess to clean up. 😊
Great video. I love how you approached it . I am a sucker for great smelling things !!!! Try using a pouring spout like the ones for olive oil to make it easier .( I always appreciate easy and clean access to products Don’t understand estimate the power of bar soap . I clean my beauty blender and face wash cloths with yardley bar soap . It’s faster and cheaper and really gets them super sparkly clean . ( I store the bar in a traveling plastic soap box , not the one that is 2 pieces but the open that open like a chest ) With Clothes I just cover the stained area with liquid laundry soap for 15 Min and just agitate it and maybe use an old toothbrush. This has pretty much removed all nasty stains . Then throw in the laundry as usual .
Hi Kay, I adore fragrances and essential oils. A fragrance designer is a person that builds fragrances from scratch. This person can work in any area of the fragrance world designing for bath & body products, laundry to actually working for a high in company like Coco Chanel or Lancome.
Hahah my wife is the main reason of avoiding anything that comes in glass! 😂😂😂 I love supporting small businesses that have a good core value and care about the people they serve.
I love when you talk "science" because it takes the emotion out of purchases...almost. My visual side falls for pretty packaging! I have the Laundress bar and wondered if you can melt it into a liquid that's easier to apply. A friend is just recovering from chemo and I am thinking of sending her something from the Good Home Co.. It sounds like a little luxury that might brighten her day. This was a great video...thanks!
Thanks for sharing Kay, I myself, like you, enjoying investing in my home. I love luxury from time to time. I’ve been enjoying Caldrea here lately and will definitely try The Good Home. I don’t mind splurging on my unmentionables so I want to keep them smelling and looking nice. I used to buy Victoria’s Secret laundry detergent but it wasn’t $25 😬
Very recently I started making my own cleaning products and scents seem to play a big part. Having a product that does the job well and smells great is definitely a one two punch for me. It makes the task enjoyable. I'm very interested in trying out Laundress now, and this company is a close second. Thank you for your reviews being informative and not sounding like a commercial. I'd love to see more videos along this wavelength. Let's check out these products together sister! Thanks Kay❤❤❤
Kay, thanks so much for this video. I love to try new cleaning products, as I am always trying to make my life a little easier. My newest purchase was a spin mop and I love that thing. I have noticed that recently my towels haven’t smelled great no matter what I try. I think I would like to give this soap a try, at least once. Thank you for this very informative and fun video. How about trying a high end body wash.
I loved that you tested it out for us. I can enjoy it vicariously through. Also, I read through the comments and some of the subscribers have great tips as well. I will also look i to some of there suggestions. I absolutely love Citrusy smelling products. Can't wait for your next product testing. Lol.
great video!!!! pricey? yay, for my intimates? yesssss. would luxury bath/shower soap qualify? am still in search of that product that cleans, hydrates and doesn't leave a weird film (ICKKKKK) due to my dryyyyy skin. Ty in advance for your consideration.
My mainstays are Tide & Woolite however, when my family member was diagnosed with cancer I decided to switch and try other detergents. Yes, I have purchased the entire Laundress laundry & cleaning line (used sale prices/% off/ebates) and use sparingly. I've seen good results using way less product than the mainstays albeit I still have them. The smell is amazing but realistically not financially sustainable. I would recommend for the ladies to invest in the delicate wash for your undies and then hang to dry, not only is it a good investment but a treat as well.
Sounds delightful but appreciate your research on the product & company! I think that is not within my budget but do love the suggestion as a housewarming gift :) Btw you bought some method shower cleaner and was wondering how you are liking the product and does it do a very good cleaning? Thanks and have a wonderful weekend !! 💖 🌼
I loved this video! I like to make my own cleaning products cause it's cheaper, but I totally see how this could be used to pamper one's self. On that note, I'd love to see a luxury bath bomb or some sort of luxury bath product.
Okay! I gotta say I am NOT comfortable about using a GLASS bottle in the laundry room. Especially if you go to a building laundry room like I do. If I accidentally knock over this bottle and it breaks there goes my 25.00. If I knock over my Seventh Generation, I'll be upset, but I won't go insane. It just isn't practical. That brand need a rethink. I'm like your mother, i rather spluge and spend my money on a Hermes bag! 🤣🤣🤣 As always love your videos. Thanks for sharing. 💖💖💖
I agree, Carolyn! Glass bottles & a laundry room do not go together! My daughter does our laundry because the stairs to the community laundry room are steep. This bottle wouldn't last a week!
I normally use a nicer looking water bottle and refill that since it’s smaller, reusable and safer, I also wrap a couple rubber bands around glass jars for grip 👍🏼
Loved this video! Going to try it. Most important to me is that it's not tested on animals! I wish more people knew and would not buy anything tested on animals!
I definitely buy the Tyler’s diva wash (don’t buy off Amazon it’s not authentic or old) cause even though it’s very expensive, it’s very strong, so a little goes along way. I bought a gallon of the laundress baby detergent and you could smell a light scent in the bottle but none after washing which was a waste of 56 bucks.
If it came in a trial size, I would probably consider trying it just b/c I'm curious about the smell. I'm a pour it in/looks about right person- I never measure so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get the maximum number of washes. Even with pods, I just throw in what feels right. I guess if I worked on my wasting habit - I could afford this or at least some Tide😂. I'd like to see luxury dusting products b/c I would try anything that would repel dust for longer especially on my ceiling fans.👍💕❤️
The thumbnail for this video cracked me up! I wish you were a bit more descriptive on the scents. I wish these more expensive brands offered a sample size of these products for a fee. They might get more sales that way. I, personally, would never spend $25 on detergent unless I knew that I loved it. Those scented beads for the vacuum, for example, you don't care for the scent. I wonder if you called their customer service if they would let you exchange it for another scent. Might be worth a try!
i love how they use refillables to refill the glass bottles so they don't have to be resent..however if the refill bottle is plastic it's the same thing as buying a plastic bottle every month..it looks like the refill is plastic and i can't see that' its not do you know?
Do a review on Topanga Scents Luxury Laundry detergent. 😉 TS is a small business in Arkansas and the products are less toxic and smell unbelievably awesome. If you'd like to try the products, let me know and I'll send you samples.
nakialoves, I absolutely LOVE this Canadian-made product. It feels so “old school” to buy the detergent in a tin. Plus, I go back to the store with my tin and I pay only for a refill! I am now testing Nellie’s dishwasher detergent. So far it doesn’t disappoint.
Nope. Not happening. I have difficulties spending so much money on certain things especially when you have a somewhat large famiky. The bottle was cute. It looked like olive oil. I'm a Gain detergent type person combined with a Downy fabric softener. Also for tough stains Shout is my go to detergent helper.

Thank you for clarifying! I had no idea!
I use Dr Bronner’s Sal’s Suds, only 1 tablespoon per load for a HE washer and it does a good job. Also, biodegradable.👍🏼
Hahah my wife is the main reason of avoiding anything that comes in glass! 😂😂😂 I love supporting small businesses that have a good core value and care about the people they serve.
LOL...does she have butterfingers?!
The Organized Soprano - I think they invented the word butterfingers because of her!!!

Thanks for watching! It's definitely not the most practical of things, but I can say that it works well and makes doing laundry kind of fancy!
You did a great job!!!! You need to have your own TV show. Thanks for showing Clover. He always makes my day!
Aw, thanks! I had fun!

Thank you so much!

Yay! Laundress stuff is pretty good and is next on the docket.

Maybe a cycle through with some baking soda and vinegar will save your towels a bit? MIRACLE WORKERS!
I use soap berries, it’s a plant and they work really well, not just for laundry but as a spray cleaner. All “natural” grown on a tree chemical :)
Do the soapberries have a scent.?
@@MOOMOO2728 No scent at all.

Yay! More fun product reviews on the way :)
You have the quality of life from your mother.
For the price difference, I think the dollar is a very good result.
You could use a clear shot glass with line marked with a Sharpe to measure the 2 TBS 👌
More luxury cleaning product and luxury cleaning tools videos

I have actually ordered some more stuff from Laundress recently, and I've been having some issues with their website 😒...stay tuned...
I would love to see organized list of hair products and routine for hair care. Ringlets are amazing!
Thank you so much!
I haven't found a detergent better than Tide! I tried Laundress and it smelled good but could not get out my eight son's dirt.
Laundress DOES smell amazing. Tide is pretty boss though!
LOVE this idea for a series!! Unique, smart, informative
I'm so glad! It has so many dislikes, so I was concerned, but I think it's because I ranked the tags so well LOL 😏

Yay! It DOES smell really nice and I forgot to add they offer custom fragrances too!

I wish I could have tried more of the scents!
Personally, I think harsher chemicals work better. Seems like I have to use twice as much as the milder stuff to get things clean.
I agree great gift idea but not something I would buy for myself.
It's cool to see you test these fancy products cause I just buy cheapo on my budget. Ahhh, to dream.

Thank you!!!
I would like for you to review Frey men's luxury laundry detergent and laundry products.
Thanks for the recommendation!
It's cute, but the way my coin is set up....😟
Hi have you tried Nellies?
I’ve seen some of their products at TCS but never tried!
nakialoves, I absolutely LOVE this Canadian-made product. It feels so “old school” to buy the detergent in a tin. Plus, I go back to the store with my tin and I pay only for a refill! I am now testing Nellie’s dishwasher detergent. So far it doesn’t disappoint.
Where are the links for the videos with your mom?
+Beverly Dow Oops! I added them!! Enjoy!
$40 now!
Wow!!!
Ill send you Norwex

Gain smells SO GOOD
+The Organized Soprano Gain scents are ah-mazing & last a long time!
I'd save the bottle and refill with my own fav. 😄
The tyler Diva detergent smells awful . I bought 2 bottles and I am so mad .
Oh no! Did you end up using it anyway?
High maintenance smells much better!!
Sooooo much talking and then I don’t even get to know what happen
Sara, skip to 10:40 to see the demo and final thoughts ;-)
Get on with it
Fast forward, man. 🤣
