That's literally a land yacht. Most of the interior is top-notch marine hardware. The latches, the bathroom, and every square inch has a purpose. I don't know if it's worth $700k, but it is damn impressive and would make a great bug-out vehicle for the rich.

Idk. It’s really nice and all. But for that price i feel you could get so much more . It feels more like a 300-450k price tag all around considering the truck itself is like 150k without the sleeper and accessories .
You're paying for the custom fabrication and engineering that went into this build. I'll agree I believe the price tag is a little steep at $700,00 it seems to me a $350,00-$400,000 price tag would leave them with profit but not until they recouped their initial investment. If the demand was higher and they weren't practically one off builds the price would come down substantially. $700,000 my ass would be in a nice ass boat but that's just me.
@@X410zee this build if you had the fabrication skills could be accomplished for less than $200k all day long. The truck itself would set you back at most $100k leaving you with $100k to spend on the interior. Outside the engineering aspect I doubt they're spending much more than $150k to build not counting their man hours which is probably a few hundred hours per unit. Let's call it a 1000 man hours with 5 guys making $30 an hour that's an additional $150k. So $300k would easily leave them with $50k-$75k in profit.
when i saw the price, i was like "no way, that's so expensive." but as I saw it, to have that custom made is a pure feat of engineering. magic. that's so sick!
Having watched you for at least 2 years now I must say you've both become professional spokespeople for any thing that comes your way!! Great job & hilarious at times, too!

I've always said my idea of camping is a 3 year old holiday inn, but this earth roamer is challenging that big time. What an amazing vehicle.... Great job on showing it here.
Earth Roamer started in a 2400sf space. I remember watching them make the very first and second campers. After about 4 years, they bought a big building north of Denver and the rest is history. Amazing to look back at the pics from when they started.
@@saza8762 they are very large and tall and cannot get into a variety of areas where all other camping vehicles can traverse. It's best used in the wide open, unless you don't mind some deep pinstriping.
That says quality build to me but it also says healthy profit margin. A margin that could be pared back to lower the price some. Not much incentive to do that if rich people are going to keep shelling out the asking price without hesitation. That said the rig is well equipped and i do love features like the passive hot water situation.
Have you ever seen a single one of these on the road outside of this vid? I haven't, most rich people don't do camping-most stay in a luxury hotel and call that camping. Only ones I could maybe see buying something like this is maybe someone like Hank Jr but even that's unlikely. Now could maybe see this going over big in places like Dubai maybe.

This is the vehicle of my dreams. I love to camp in remote areas, which means the vehicle needs clearance and 4 wheel drive. And... the additions to prevent rattles & increase efficiency are impressive. Well done!
4:18 for $700,000 it doesn’t come with a smart key for everything!! Come on!! They “add” over $600,000 to the price of that truck as the base truck is less than $100,000. The integration should be seamless.

Can't count the number of so-called luxury off road rigs I've looked at only to find that the maker was basically the fastest machine operator at the cheese processing plant who went into the van business. So with skepticism, clicked on this review. Wow. This not only way exceeds expectations, it also seems a relative bargain. Very well thought out and functional. No silly gimmick stuff to suck one in...it's onvious that their engineers consulted with their target market and built on this. The quality of materials wraps everything in beautiful - not trendy - design that will hold to timeless well. Simply blown away. What an amazing vehicle, I just love how the 'wall eats the dirt' what a great touch that is. Two suggestions for Earthroamer, Nate shouldn't have to download a spirit level app to check if the vehicle has been adjusted to be totally level. This type of vehicle with the functionality it has should have a built-in spirit level device in the driver's cabin. I suspect it may already have it only Nate was unaware it it. Second suggestion, some how make the solar panels lift upwards and outwards, so standing vertically, forming a privacy screen for people who want to sunbath on the roof. Imagine it, a private mobile roof terrace in a beauty spot.
Good suggestions, also if the solar panels were adjustable they could face them in other directions wherever the sun is facing to gain more solar power too.
I’ve been so excited for this video since seeing a little preview on your stories!! Y’all should post more often so we get to see events sooner to when they occur!
I finally figured out why Nate got wet when he took out the cassette toilet and he thought it was leaking on him. honestly, youtube plays a very important role in many people's lives. from education to motivation.. bad and good. and videos like these are like a therapy😊
Good luck . My son is 34 and deals with it too . Being a No BS Dad , I have kept Him squared away . I always tell Him stop and think about a big pizza ( His favorite ) and the distraction works . Key point is redirecting to something Ya love .

After watching a thousand of these, I was impressed with the tight informative way Kara and Nate work.
After 19 months we are finally caught up on every single video, starting from Tokyo. I don’t know what we are going to do in the evenings now🤣🤣🤣. Kids want to start over at the beginning again. Also our family feels like Kara and Nate are family now since you have spent an hour a day with us for so long. Our family loves your videos.
This is not even the most expensive version. The top of the line model is $1.5+ million. It comes with a few more bells & whistles
Yeh I think you summed it up perfectly. I’m not seeing a fair trade for my 600k of dollars. Looks like a 200k type vehicle at most.
Bro the microwave is solar powered
@@X410zee this build if you had the fabrication skills could be accomplished for less than $200k all day long. The truck itself would set you back at most $100k leaving you with $100k to spend on the interior. Outside the engineering aspect I doubt they're spending much more than $150k to build not counting their man hours which is probably a few hundred hours per unit. Let's call it a 1000 man hours with 5 guys making $30 an hour that's an additional $150k. So $300k would easily leave them with $50k-$75k in profit.
“The wall literally EATS the dirt!” Best thing about the video! ❤️😂
You guys did an amazing job showing the EarthRoamer! I love the humor you offer. Thank you!

@@BarChrome this is NOT about what I can or can not afford! It's about excessive greed of a company! As much as I want a similar vehicle for off road camping, I would NEVER give into this level of greed no matter how much money I have. I would NOT run my company this way. A decent profit ($100k) is one thing excessive profit ($400k) and greed are another. I also know labor hours involved in the design and manufacturing of the "composite house shell" and the cabinet work. *Kara and Nate are a huge inspiration to many including us
@@hopeandtobias lol imagine self promoting on someone else’s channel
@@tylerjosephson4205 no need to imagine! just chasing a dream!
Hope & Tobias lol get outta here
I rewound and watched Nate pretend to be a deer like 5 times and couldn’t stop laughing. Also, this is the coolest vehicle ever, but I’m now going to need a follow up video that teaches me how to make $600k so that I can buy this thing!
Same here, but you will need like 850k for all the top features.
@@martini426 Which is ridiculous, you could buy a Berkshire motorhome and a trailer to tow you fully custom off-roader and still have a couple 100 grand left for whatever you want.
OMG, that Nate-pretending-he's-a-deer section had me rolling! 😆😆
@@WascalSpiwit Yeah, but you trade off the 4x4, off-grid aspect. I assume that these are for the upper, upper middle-class/low-income-wealthy who like to be super outdoorsy/adventurous.
@@WascalSpiwit LOL.. you don't get it... But that's ok!!
Yes, you can buy a very nice "diesel pusher" for a lot less, but you're limited to just "paved road"...
"Overlandling Vehicles" are met to get you off the beaten path!!
Look where they parked for example .. you think you're going to get any kind of regular diesel pusher motorhome up there???
Kara & Nate, I’ve stumbled upon a few of your videos the past year. You guys are so cool and I love how I can watch these and feel the “genuine” aspect of it! You’re doing good work and I hope to have vehicles like this someday
This would be good for a Zombie apocalypse
Fr
Or just for camping like it was intended for. Why would you want to be in a camper during an apocalypse of any kind?
This is AMAZING! Especially, when Nate is outside and tries the security system and is outside jumping around😂😂😂😂

I love how you guys breezed right over the gun safe. Lol I actually wanted to know more about it. Like at least the size and security features.
Libs.
Democrat liberals
@@chinpowrada Plenty of "Democrat liberals" own guns and served in the military. Take your silly divisive propaganda elsewhere.
Yes, that was disappointing.
That is one of several units made by V-line. These are well-made, with no batteries to go dead or "biometric" style locks, these use a simplex push-button locking mechanism. Not a safe, more of a locker, but quite robust and more secure than several "safes" sold out there. Not that I know anything about that kind of stuff.
Nate pretending to be a deer literally has me rolling laughing so hard LOL I love you guys
19:51 🤣
Nico 😘🌹😍
i was laughing so hard
Were you actually rolling around laughing? I very much doubt it. Dont misuse the English language.
Honestly, i didn't like this kind of camping pick-up truck but it was changed at the end of this video 21:11, she revealed that we can access the cabin from the main room through the curtain without going out. Very great function in case of night, cold weather or heavy rain outside. It's a great one 👍👍👍
Man these are so cool. I lived in a studio apartment for a few years with a couple kids and tiny living is the best!
