A bonus part of the Grand Canyon express is the train robbery on every trip😃 I hiked down and stayed at camp on bottom and took two days on the way up and stayed at a midway camp. They both were amazing, staff with rangers, with night time activities (star gazing, lecture, story telling). I didn't realize you can't see the bottom from the top. The view from the bottom is crazy.
I did an 18 mile hike through the Grand Canyon (including Bright Angel). There is so much amazingness that you don't see if you don't do a proper hike through it. I also want to camp at the bottom some time. Also, watch out for the squirrels. They will steal stuff from your bag if it isn't secured.
@@chloeandludvig It's amazing. Also, bring some salty snacks with you to help your body retain water. I went with pretzels myself. I also tracked the hike on Strava and wore a heart rate monitor. I believe I burned over 4K calories on the hike. I also went through 4 liters of water. 5 would have been better.
Great couple of days! Arizona is my fave state in the US, I stayed in Tucson for a few weeks with friends years ago, I'd love to retire there. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks again guys 🤗🥃🍸🍹
Ohhh SO glad this video helped! You're the first person to mention you're in Williams and finding the vid helpful in real life - yay!!! Keep us updated on what you get up to :D
Fun fact- you can also get fry bread (the base of your Navajo taco) as a sweet treat and they serve it with some honey. It’s like a beignet but a lot more hearty. So good!
you guys are AWESOME!!!! mum and dad are great fun also, I love Ludvigs NON excited commentary, makes my day....lol
😂😂so hard to get him to crack a smile! But when he does, I’m so proud 😉 thanks for watching!!!
Loving your videos guys. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching!! :D
I always feel a little woozy seeing those edges without barriers. I'm not afraid of heights or falling, just hitting the bottom.
Oh me too! I can't stand it when Ludvig jokes around near the edge (luckily he's just teasing and doesn't do anything dangerous).
