Good playthrough Sir. The terror of having your bomber half full of injured guys will stay with you. On one mission this happened. Due to bad dice rolls on landing, two crewmembers ended up being sent home to recover. One was my ace engineer/top turret gunner. War is brutal and I thank God for our soldiers and veterans.
My father was a B-17 pilot in the 15th AF. He flew 55 missions, mostly with the 463rd BG and some special missions with the 885th BG. He had a lot of close calls and I'm sure it's only by the grace of God that he came home without a scratch. I really appreciate this video series. My copy of the game arrives today and I'm going to try to recreate as many of his missions as I can. I can hardly wait to get a feel for what he went through, on cardboard anyway.
Such a great game Paul. I've had only one bomber make through a full campaign. I only lost 4 crewmembers so 6 of the orginial crew survived. The losses were 3 ball turret gunners, engineer, and a right waist gunner. That was a brutal air war, thank God for those that served and are serving.
Thanks so much for all the Play Through videos, they were excellent and really explained the mechanics of the game well. My very first war game was Ambush by Victory Games which I LOVED! It was very thematic and game system driven and I see a lot of that in this game which makes me very happy. Looking forward to starting my first campaign this weekend. Thanks again for the great videos definitely got me prepped to play this game. I see some Jump Wings emblazoned in your die tray, are you a fellow Paratrooper?
Glad you've enjoyed the channel! No that was just one of my first dice trays that I got. I was a US Marine who sadly missed jumped school cause a POAG wanted to go.

Great to see it made it home safely, all crew safe.
Three that are now on my short must have list; 1) Fields of Fire; 2) D-Day Normandy; and 3) RAF 1940.
Looks like a good game. Great show gimpy 👍
Looking forward to more Fields Of Fire vids.
Fields of Fire sounds sweet.
Focus, am sure it will be worth the wait!
