You mention a few times that "they're making updates" to the rules in the forums & website etc: It should be pointed out these are ALL FAN-MADE & the effort of the community - there are NO OFFICIAL updates, corrections, clarifications etc yet... It's a bit of a wild-west at the moment when it comes to the rules. Personally I feel the game is unfinished and majorly rushed & under-tested.

I’m really preferring the way GimpyGamer leaves in the mistakes - we all make them - and mistakes are a great learning vehicle (see what I did there? LOL). Seriously, leave the mistakes in with your text annotations etc. My copy of this game should be arriving in the meail today! (2 years after this video was uploaded - the video still has great value!)

Man, they got the flow of the Danube completely wrong, they sort of hit where it enters the black see but they have the river flowing through the Carpathian mountains.

Something like top 4 games for beginners, then these are the top 4 intermediate games to move on to, or something like that? Right now, I'm thinking we'll start with memoir 44 but I'm not sure if thats a good place to start and where to go next

I was really looking forward to this game coming out, but I watched a playthrough and honestly it was kindof boring :/ For the price of this boardgame I could buy almost every total war game on a steam sale, and they're much more than what this boardgame is

RTS games went down a similar path, in the 90s and early 2000s they were a main pillar of pc gaming. For many similar reasons as wargaming (More complex than other games on average, very competitive and combative, etc) they have not necessarily fallen off, but they are a much smaller total percentage of video gaming on the whole now days

I went to Quebec city a few years back... quite interesting. Old town is full of history. You can stay a long weekend in the city, plus a day or two in the surroundings.😊

My copy of that game should arrive the next few days. I already have been exited about it, but after watching these three playthrough videos I am absolutly blown away. A video series Very well done and informative! One thing I noticed was that the rulebook is incredible well done, too. Whenever your playthrough left a question open in a specific situation I was able to find the answer within seconds, even I used the german edition. Looks like the was nothing lost in translation. 😊

Thanks for this Nate. I have the original version but haven't pulled the trigger on this one yet. I don't MP that one either as it plays so well solo and the A.I. is fairly capable.

Latest update on deliveries to Asia / Pacific countries. Some of the orders for Australia have left by boat on Boxing Day! ETA for arrival in Australia is mid-January. I know some people claim that LnL simply have bad luck, but I am trying to reconcile their announcement back in November that Asia / Pacific customers would receive their orders in a "few weeks" with sending the games by sea freight with an ETA a few months later than indicated by their November announcement. On the positive side the game does appear to be their usual very high standards of presentation.

Since there are usually less than a dozen cards i usually roll a dice to determine which card to pick. That way i don't bend the cards up. Great example of game play. Already have Storming the gap and the expansion and looking forward to getting my copy of this newest addition to a great game system. Well done video! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

I really like that you pre-count the pieces needed for the mission. Concerning game and scenario design it might be some thing that would be good if it was actually printed in the mission outline.

i wonder if a matte or satin varnish might work on the coin capsules to reduce the shine, though not sure how it would impact the clarity

Ha! I think Roy (see his comment) bought the last copy of Rogue Regiment!! Looks like the company just did a kickstarter for a second printing. Any chance you can get any information about the possibility of a late pledge? I want to get the all in pledge but can’t find anywhere….
