- Checking out some amazing trail work by Eric (@BCpov), Bobby and Chris! Had a couple close calls on this one. I'll need to head back for a clean top-to-bottom run, but for now, I'm happy to walk away in one piece.

I will say the biggest thing I admire about you in these videos is your ability to say no to the dangerous parts. It's better to be safe and continue to be able to ride, than try something sketchy and get hurt. Kudos for the restraint
Yes! He’s not just some idiot that doesn’t know his limits and just wants to show off. He has mayor skill, and part of being skillful at something vs just being a thrill seeking manic, is knowing your limits and smartly keeping yourself safe! He is so enjoyable to watch for this reason!
I found this especially true in the “Beyond Expert” video when he decided to pass the scary looking jump to the lower ramp. I think it’s really incredible that he can have fun partaking in danger, but at the same time know when something is a fundamental danger to his safety instead of a dangerous rush. The fact that he knows he doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone and knows what his limits are is a wonderful quality.
_laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame!_
jk
Agreed. Having no limits at all is not pushing the limit, it's just reckless.
Terrifying trail segment.
Me: Screams
Dave: giggles
And this is why I watch and he rides.
A he’s pretty dang good eh
Yes, I’ll stay safe on my sofa thanks! Thrilling to watch tho
That kind of laugh is a type of coping for dangerous situations, used to work in dangerous environments, heard and done it many times
Love the way that ddave laughs every time he does something difficult or cool. It’s kind of adorable.
It was nice to see you off of the bike and looking at the ramps.
They are major pieces of work.
Someone puts much of their life into building them.
Works of art, some of them, but all of them are nicely built.
This trail has some serious flow. What an artistic way of expressing their talents the builders of this trail knew how to produce quality!
New dirt. Dark brown like a fresh poopy in the toilet.
@@VoxNerdula bro what?
If you aren't exclusively in the niche of bike riding like this, this is peak 3am content
2.45 as I finish this one - but I don't think it'll be the last!
That hop over the rock at the very end, hahaha. Almost had to do that too!
Lol, funny to see you here
“I’m not stoked on bikes anymore Dale”. Liar.
Anyway, loved seeing this from your perspective after Dale’s recent upload. Looked hella fun - that major scare aside. Notice you didn’t include Dale’s admonition “no don’t” when looking back toward the hand rail. On your to do list? If so, stay safe. We need to keep you stoked on bikes!
the reaction time of u guys is CRAZY. i could never
Glad you lived! You'll have to return and get some redemption :)
First lol. u better get pinned
Second

My ten year old loves watching your videos with me before he goes to sleep. Helps him get calm and relaxed. From him: “thank you so much Dangerous Dave!”
He is very welcome! Hope he's dreaming about bikes 👍
I've been watching these vids for a bit... I just wanted to comment and say how cool they are. I'm in a wheelchair now because of M.D. but back in the 80s we'd ride trails similar to this on stripped down BMX style bikes. I lived in the woods so we'd build trails like this with jumps etc. Lotta fun until you take a handle bar to the gut LOL! I really enjoy watching these, thanks for doing them.
Hats off no way in hell you'd find me trying to brave these courses. Your bike sounds like my fishing reel when I have a big fish on the line. 😀
He knows and accepts his limits. I like that! It characterizes the real top drivers. Probably this important passion has kept him alive.
I really, really love your giggles when something on the trail delights you! I have no idea how I landed on your channel but it's so enjoyable to watch, especially when you are not reckless with stuff. Thanks!
I actually screamed at my phone when you landed sideways off the shark fin. Amazing that you had the confidence to ride it out and turn from hitting the stump.
Hey Dave, I've written something similar in the comments of Dales latest video and just wanted to tell you the same. I love your videos and the commentary to the vids.
I've already said under his video, as a dude I feel weird saying this, but both of your voices are really calming and friendly. You both have that instant sympathy vibe.
Also I wanted to say that I love seeing you both always considering how jumps are made, how well built the trail is (parts of the trail) and just in general that you guys care for your safety. Idk why but I like seeing someone considerate enough to think of such things.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the videos and keep it safe! Have a nice day and many, many more nice rides
i can't imagine the adrenaline rush you get from this. Especially when you let out those little laughs. I enjoy your videos.
I found this guy a few days ago, I'm already hooked into his channel.
I just found him today and I love his vids
That was the most fun bike ride I ever had. 😃
8:40 When Dave says that, you KNOW it's crazy... LOL. Glad you got that one back, could have been a disaster.
That caracteristic « ha ha ha » means : that was nearly impossible, but I just made it look so easy
Whoa, why am I only finding this sport now??? Damn, I am 74 yrs old and missed this awesome fun. Keep the videos coming !!!!!!!!!!
it's crazy how fast you can pick up speed on these trails
Me personally, I’d be screaming the whole time. I love it though when you find something that makes you laugh out loud or “whoo!” I laugh out loud with you. 🤘🏻
Just found your chnnel and been watching a few of your vids. Love how you show trail safety! I've never seen people pause and take stock in videos like these before. I think it's so important that people see this, especially teens and new riders. No shame is safety and wanting to live to ride another day!
I really enjoyed watching Eric build this and its so good to stumble across someone riding it! Epic!
I love watching these before I go for a bike ride on wide flat gravel trails, like a housecat dreaming of being a lion. Thank you to the lions out there!
I feel like every time I watch these videos you’ll die and then return to complete level again 😂 love the videos
7:47 THAT LOOKED SO SMOOTH! That is insane!
Woah look, That’s the trail my parents used to get to school every morning! It’s probably for the better than they removed the bears though.
I wrecked myself three years back, just getting wheels back off ground (it was not good) watching you cross the bike up put a knot in my stomach! Enjoy the trails boys
I just started watching your videos yesterday and I'm hooked. And it's good that you check out the trail and are able to say no to parts that look dangerous. Thanks for showing that to other people who enjoy this activity. It's better to be safe than to try and look macho and end up getting severely injured. It's just not worth it.
That jump through the trees looks like a do it once and never again kinda feature
Look at you, flyin through the air like a salmon at a waterfall. Lol
Not so long ago you were telling Dale, "You've gotten so much more extreme!" But now you're doin it! 😀
my anxiety very much appreciates the little giggles after the especially scary parts.
The POV really makes it feel like a videogame.
This is amazing lmao. It's kinda like first person and third person at the same time when you think about it, since you're not alone in this one haha
yeah i like that. I just hope the dude in front never crashes....
The delighted giggles - they just keep bringing me back to these.
“I assume this way”? -Dave
So, you have chosen death! -the trail
Great vids
I’m watching this when I’m young because I can’t watch it when I’m older. If I was older and watching this, I’d die of a heart attack. Keep up the good work man!
Oh holy cow! I just discovered your channel. This has to be the scariest I've seen so far. Gotta view these on my big screen.
This is one of the greatest things I have seen in my life. I absolutely love this video.
ddon't ddo it ddangerous ddave!!!!!
This is what I think I'm doing when I go off of a couple of steps.
"I am not stoked on bikes anymore Dale"
I felt that.
Cant stop watching
"This Trail Tries To Kill Me" Don't they all? Lol.
You make all these gnarly trails look so easy. Super impressive riding
It's cool to see what you guys up in the Pacific North West do for fun!
Thanks for pointing out the skid mark. 👍🏻
Most good lines try to kill you, a bunch try, some just try harder... Much, much harder :)
Absolutely finessed all the evil things, great work man!
Great video. Major respect on how you guys manage not to wipe out on such a trail.
Love your laughter...its awesome! You really seem to enjoy yourself!
This reminds me of that Norm Macdonald joke about cliff jumpers.
There are two tiers world champion experts and stuff on on a rock.
I never would’ve thought I’d be watching biking videos but it’s so therapeutic for me and if I had never clicked this video I never would’ve learned about this! I actually wanna try biking too now
Dale's got that OG Shore body armour on.
Thank you for your videos and Greetings from the Netherlands 👍
Those are some really well built trails, really like the first one/part without all the big features the best. Thought we were getting a totally, uninterrupted run of both trails after you'd done your siting run, guess you only did the upper trail twice. Always cool to see that you guys also take your time to look at stuff and analyze, makes the rest of us not feel so bad :-)
Wow. I’m amazed at the amount of skill that must be needed to ride that trail. Are there any records of how many people get injured or worse attempting that?
...it didn't use a gun or a knife!!! ...took me within an inch of my life!!!
Here I am doing nothing with my life & these guys r out doing this!! AMAZING GUYS, I LOVE IT!! Stay safe
@4:54 actually sent spikes through my feet watching this
INTENSE. 🚴♀
You guys did things that i can't even achieve in games. I will always crash, lol. It looks fun and happy to see u guys happy.
I have to check my playback speed after seeing how fast you're going sometimes 💀
Watching these videos helps me to focus in the present rather than dwelling in the past or fantasizing about the future. I'm glad I came across these through UA-cam recommendations :)
This trail looks phenomenal. Really hope to get to ride something this amazing someday
Such a piece of art how it flows through the forest with all its corners and berms! :)
Your no doubt my favorite youtuber. Thanks for all the great content
Stone Starlet has some serious Flow!!! I love it. Will built my own trail after that exemplar.
Been on a mountain biking video kick lately. The first part of the trail was insane and new but it was really odd how all of a sudden I was recognizing the trail. Around that jump over the stump right before the wall ride. I have only seen it in video but that jump was really familiar and that wall ride immediately told me I was right. Thats really nifty.
Haha, nice to see D&D Downhill Wrecking Crew shred on a fellow YT MTBer's home made trail. Would like to see you both return for another run at it, like Eric said. Awesome run as always, even though I am late to the viewing.
Dale and Dave the Duo I didn’t know I needed until 3 AM
so this trail is titled “school”?
BURLY! I grew a full-on beard just watching this! Incredible riding, boys!
Your guardian angel is working overtime
the sounds of these bicycles is honestly nicer to listen to than asmr
Sitting on my couch watching this vid, eating a bowl of granola, & not wanting to blink in fear I’ll miss something…
Dream: To bike such trails myself & ( safely) experience such thrills!
Reality: Comfy on my couch watching these vids😝
i wonder if I'm the only one who gets really fucking stoned and watches channels like this.
its so hypnotizing
More danger more dave
Such a rad trail. Can’t wait to ride it
No matter how fast you rode, the damn bees kept following....
I don’t even mountain bike but this is entertaining as shit
These videos are addictive for some reason. I like them a lot
Loved watching the build videos of this trail and it’s so good to see it being ridden by someone else! I’m so jealous! 😂
I am impressed about the fact that there are people going through so much trouble to build something so big, that like 4 people in the region will be able to use. 😅
Looks so fun.
These videos are somehow both calming AND anxiety-inducing!
Do one of you carry an emergency first aid kit and/or bike repair kit whilst riding these trails?
I've never mountain biked before but I am quite risk conscious and curious.
Thanks in advance.
Sumas mountain has some crazy bike trails
Can somebody help me here?
I never mountain biked before.
Checking out this videos, Im trying to figure out: how does these guys responds so quickly to these crooked tracks?
I mean, for sure it takes a lot of training. But this is unbelievable.
Experience and practice.
Start slow and move to what you are comfortable with.
Not everyone is going to go as fast as these guys, some may go faster.
Just do what excites you without putting yourself, or others, in danger.
If you always ride at the edge of your comfort zone, it gradually gets bigger.
Bear in mind this is expert+ level riding - gap jumps and big features are definitely not for beginners. You need to build confidence and balance, looking ahead to see what’s coming so you can anticipate the corners and shift your weight accordingly.
"I assume this way?"
- me, every MTB ride, right as I'm about to lose the trail
I was going to say hey I recognize that trail! :)
Great video, as always. Why don’t you ever film going up the trail?
Slowly climbing up a fire road for 45 minutes while gasping for breath might not be the most interesting thing 😜
What a trail... Damn..
Beautiful country, must be closer to or in the interior.
How often do you replace brakes?
This is epic
You may have everyone else fooled but I know your secret. Clearly you and Dale are part Mountain Goat 🐐
That DLC is gonna make me wanna pick it back up
We all know you cut out the part where you turned the wrong way on the road.
Dale's video is a deep fake
