In my heart, I believe that the first bump of the get-in helmet was planned, but the second one was a surprise and he was instantly and actually happy to be wearing a helmet at that moment.

Obviously both hits were planned. You can literally see him intentionally put his head further forward than necessary and leave it there as he sat down. It might have hit slightly harder than he was planning, but that was 100% staged for people like you that can't tell reality from entertainment.
The "get in helmet" gets me everytime 😂🤣😂🤣 the second hit is the best part. Lmao!!! No matter how many times I replay that part, I crack up. Genius!!!!

Story time:
So, a few months back, my mom was on the market for a medium size SUV. She wanted a Ford Explorer or a GMC Acadia, my dad wanted a BMW X6M or a Mercedes GLE AMG. So we went and look at all their options, and the Volvo XC60 T8 Hybrid was just superb! It had the best interior, the most power, the best brakes, and IMO it was the best looking. So ultimately, they went for a Honda Accord..... classic

I'm in love with the polestar 1, it is the symbolic definition of sophisticated minimalism. Its absolutely gorgeous.
That Polestar is stunning. I just think having an N/A 6 cyl up front with a hybrid system in the back would make it simpler and better.

Usually when car designers talk of heritage and design being inspired by previous cars they're not even similar to the old ones, but this Polestar 1 is the first time I've seen a new car and instantly saw where it's inspiration came from. The stance, sharp lines, roof curve etc. all really remind of the P1800.

Si Sloan yes, but the Gemera is using special valve systems that really increase performance. I don’t know exactly how it works but I know it has something like that.

You guys are killing it. So proud to be Canadian with content this good. My pick is both. The Polestar is beautiful but, so is the i8. I would take both if possible. The i8 even though older is still a bit more exotic looking and really was an amazing car when it came out all those years ago. Heck it still is.

d wade it’s a BMW, they are expensive, plus it has 368 horsepower which is definitely not a small amount, sure it’s not like the M5 or the E63 but it’s a luxury car either way
@@promo2099 Tell me one reasson to get the i8 over the M5 appart from looks and fuel economy. The M5 has a Twin Turbo V8, it does 0-60 in 1,5 seconds less, has a higher top speed and is way more comfortable while being 50K less. What i want to say is that the I8 is very overpriced compared to other BMW's.
Polestar should have brought back Volvos 5 cylinders engines, if just for the sound.
I agree the t5 engines are very under-appreciated and sound great, not to mention there racing heritage

Agreed! Unfortunately the reason for T5 switching to 4cyl is the EU (or just Swedish? I'm not sure) laws where cars with more than 4cyl have an added tax so they instead chose to buff the 4cyl until it had the same performance as previous T5 or even T6... so no 5cyl anytime soon... or ever :(
edit: tried to find a supporting link but probably this was just a rumor... anyways, 5cyl are not coming back :(

One of the most stunning designs. Gorgeous from every angle.
As a multi Volvo owner over the years. 2019 S90, 2008 C30 Rdesign, a 2006 C70 convertible...I've got to get my hands on a Polestar. That body design is flawless and rekindles my desire for a 2 door coupe that has a look all it's own. It has hints of Volvo but it is unique like nothing out there right now.

I bit the bullet in October and bought a used i8 Roadster with 15k miles. The attention it commands is crazy. It doesn't allow you to be a "private citizen!" Lol. Getting in and out aside, it's actually a decent daily driver. Which is hard to believe based on the exotic looks.
