No other show has given me that Top Gear fix since the dark times began. You guys have an amazing thing going. Thank you for being you! (and giving us such great content).
Soooo... I've specced an Ariel Atom 4 to my heart's desire and it's around 80K £, so anywhere between a third and a half of the price of the BAC MONO. It seats two, it's maybe 100 pounds heavier, but you can get the 350 bhp option, brake bias switch, variable power, AP Brakes, fully adjustable suspension so... would be interesting to understand what's the gap.
The bank balance is why this is 300k ca$.. if you can, then why not? Same goes for Donkervoort d8 gto rs.. it's fantastic but only if money is not a real issue to you.
The gap is the bodywork, suspension, steering wheel, seat, transmission etc etc. Basically everything lol. The BAC Mono is actually quite a bit faster than even the v8 Atom. It was a second faster around the top Gear track and that is a pretty short course. The Mono shattered the fastest time at the Goodwood hill climb a few years ago.
If this is a serious question, I’ll answer for you. I own a mono and an atom 3.5R (have driven an atom 4 and the v8) so will try to provide facts not conjecture. If that’d help, let me know.
Damn I love the BAC Mono, I've seen two parked on the streets in downtown Temecula California and I didn't know what they were until I googled it and now seeing it on your track is amazing.

@@davidlegkodukh6969 I don't know about the show man... monogamy just means having one romantic partner lol..and I know all about brave new World
I went looking for this comment :P
RealOrbit - Australia You don’t know about the show but you know all about it? What?
@@Jordan-ll5eq I meant I don't know about the reference in the show but I'm well aware of the brave new world story...ye I saw I didn't make sense but couldn't be stuffed editing
No other show has given me that Top Gear fix since the dark times began. You guys have an amazing thing going. Thank you for being you! (and giving us such great content).
16:28 *wholesome moment* thanks for not makeing us feel poor
The moment you start taking it for granted is the moment you lose your connection with reality, but I know you won't. Keep up the great work.
Bro I saw that thumbnail on my subscriptions and I literally was like
What IS that thing 😂😂
I'm happy that i stumbled onto your channel yesterday. 5 videos in and I love it. Two thumbs up.
Was going to have a working lunch....and then you drop this! You’ll get me fired.....WORTH IT! 😎
clown
Get to work.
James' laugh is so genuine. lol
Alright, isn't anyone gonna talk about how this video just made your day?
This was fokin brilliant.
Incredible content, hands down the best automotive channel on yt!
Bravo, Gentlemen. Especially the outro.
Thomas with the closing statement that we all felt….Damn, he’s great on the closers man… …I f*ucking love this channel.😌😅
@@jasgts you answered nothing basically
@@jasgts 100% serios. Wow, you're a lucky person!
As others have noted, Thomas summed this up better than any of us possibly could. Awesome video. Envious!
I would love to see the BAC Mono against a 70's Formula or Indy car. And then progressively newer ones to see at what time they catch up to the Mono.
Damn I love the BAC Mono, I've seen two parked on the streets in downtown Temecula California and I didn't know what they were until I googled it and now seeing it on your track is amazing.
"You'll need a trailer, and a man to take care of it, and a track." Not in the US! If I was a wealthy Canadian I would move just so I could drive that thing on public roads.
Whats with Canada and their no fun road registration rules! Most of the Western world lets you register them!
Well done gents! Well done! Looks like I'll be adding driving a BAC Mono to my bucket list.
Thomas and James should make the biggest drag race they have ever done
Who agrees with me👌🏽
Nah individual drag races are more interesting. With those huge ones you end up focusing on the porches or mclaren in the front instead of all of them
LOL I was waiting for James to stall it too.
Model T you can feel everything in the road too.
That ending was well spoken and portrayed. Thank you guys.
