Hey Rob thanks for taking the time to do the split screen again mate as I know it takes twice the amount of time to edit👌 as was mentioned below the description on the drop coat was really well done and well explained, I've seen some do the drop coat while the paint is still wet and some do it after it's flashed of so is there a right or wrong way to do it? Before I got my DV1 I used my GTI Pro and TE10 but I used the 1.2, I'll have to dig it out again🙏👍
Hi I find the te10 really good for base that's what we use all the time in the bodyshop then when it comes to the clear coat the t110 will give you a flatter finish But you can also use the te20 for clear coat it will still give you great results 👍 if you can afford another cap I would say yes go for it 😉
Hello, I purchased a Devilbiss spray gun model - GPG- 7E7 with a HE-7E7 CAP, and it came with a 1.2 and 1.3 tips. Are you familiar with this gun, and should I use it for base or clear? Thank you, and thanks for the great information provided in your videos.
Can you use the TE20 air cap for solvent metallic basecoat aswell? I have a TE20 air cap but dont really want to buy another air cap as I rarely spray anymore
Love the video and explanations. I only got my pro lite today and love its versatility for bas and clear. Btw What nozzle size did you use for clear was it 1.4 or 1.3 with te20 cap. Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Hi its all about cleaning your work space down first before you start spraying give the floor a wet down with water that will keep some dust down aswell Then when it comes to your panels blow off and tack rag down between each coat of paint that helps out loads
