Yeah this one's going straight to the vault of music tutorials. This is incredible brother. When is the Flume collab?
HOLY, you answered all my prayers.
nice tune euy
yo what is that bass sound and how do i make it cause that is crazy
I normally watch these tutorial videos on 1.25 speed but this one i had to rewind a couple of times hahaha. Stunning work man!
lol
Dude you’re absolutely insane. You just exposed Flume’s secrets
fire as fuck dude
👀🤘🏻
Could you make a video on how to make sounds like the ones in your Sugar pack?
sure
lol the first two minutes you already made it 100% exactly like flume
I don't use playbox any similar plugin to get that kind of sound effect
Yes we are working on a video for this soon about different samplers and effects you can use to achieve the similar sound! Cheap samplers like quanta work well and if you use Ableton Granulator ll comes with Ableton and fruity Granulizer for FL studio. The only reason I used PlayBox was because of their feature to to split each note in a chord to a different sound.
Arturia Pigments 3 is close, it allows multi-sampling so you can play a different sample randomly with each note and it is coupled with a granulator engine
damn
how do you make to get the blue circle above the speed and size get to one direction only?
The U and B buttons in the modulators
clipping like crazy
clipping is the secret sauce
Can someone explain what importing the midi file does in playbox?
imports the midi
SOLID f****ng tutorial!! Trying to enter my info to access the free downloads at your site but nothing happens when I click the submit button? :(
Hi did you check your email you have to confirm your email and then it'll redirect you.
@@lostaud_io Yes, I can login with my account but when I try to download anything I have to click Access Downloads, I enter my information but nothing happens when I click submit.
@@drminkers There is no need to login you just have to go to your email and you should see an email that asks you to confirm newsletter subscription and it should redirect you to download page if that doesn't work you can email me at cris@lostaud.io and I can give you access!
@@lostaud_io Yeah it does not work, I have sent you an email now :)
Does the pack come with the play box plug-in? If not which native instruments pack contains play box?
Hi so playbox is a kontakt instruments library however there are some alternatives and we even made a video on what granular synthesis is.
@@lostaud_io I have granulator on Ableton, maybe if I get your sample pack I could load some samples in there and get a similar effect?
@@shawnpeterson1825 yes you can! i can make a video on how to make something similar
@@lostaud_io that would be so Gucci. Was seriously loving the sounds in this one, especially that granular synth type bass. I also love the layer of those metallic sounds over the snare, I will def be purchasing this pack soon! Keep up the content brother.
@@lostaud_io do you have Instagram, or SoundCloud?
this looks quiet bison
oh no kontakt :(
This workflow feels like an explosion of tourette syndromes
what the lol
😂😂😂😂😂
Completely disagree. Sounds are interesting but impossible to repeat and achieve and actually learn anything.
Skill issue.
Yeah u can't always exactly recreate a sound but u learn a lot whole trying nd if ur lucky u might actually replicate it
I question your production skills and your general cognitive abilities.
Why would you want to sound like someone else
emulating artists that inspire you is a really good way to learn new techniques and styles
Bros never heard of inspiration
@@HapticNoise drawing inspiration I get, literally trying to emulate a sound I don't
flume literally said he got good at doing his own thing by copying others for years until he got good at it and "invented" his own sound. people might wanna sound like someone because they are simply learning how things work
