Ok two things.....
#1 we need Eric Stonestreet to come back.
and
#2 we need a "Carla reacts to what happened behind her back" segment
definitely need both these things pronto!
Yes! It is one of my favorite things when the guest moves ahead or does something different and she further explains what she wants them to do and there's *hurried fixing* going on behind her
This is a FANTASTIC idea!! Just have her watch what the celebs are doing and react! I love it! @BonAppetit, you should get on that!
Omg yes
Yes. And Yes.
I agree!
“pat off excess flour*
*Pats the fish whilst still in the flour encouragingly*
That cracked me up 😂
“This is a nice, delicate fish”
**commences fish-shake dance, complete with wave**
And Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ed O'Neal
Carla's ability to give super clear verbal instructions is AMAZING. She's better at cueing than most teachers!!!!
Truly- she's not the most entertaining person on the channel, but she is always the most clear and consistent
It's true, even though she says words like "squoze" haha
How many teachers have you witnessed? hahaha
@@exothermal.sprocket many. I'm a teacher and I train/teach teachers!
@@kateamarlow Good for you
"rip the head off"
"rip the what up?"
"rip the head off"
"aww :("
@alphant1 Hes not gay tho
@alphant1 what the fuk are you talking about
alphant1 wtf i can’t tell wether your racist or homophobic or im just super confused
@alphant1 what? you can't "influence" a person to be gay🤨
@alphant1 what's wrong with being gay?
I NEED TO SEE SOFIA VERGARA IN THE BA KITCHEN!!
isabella villa YES OMG PLEASE BA
Yes please!!!
With Gaby, it'd be amazing
Omg yaaaas
Yes yes
I love Carla's reaction when she saw Eric's plate lol
He really did well though, his dish looked good
On "50 People Fry Sole", Eric would be one of the mid-range people.
@@njoldguy8728 lol yeah, that sounds about right
I kept waiting for Eric to scream "Mitchell!" with Cam's demeanor.
STELLA!!!
@alphant1 best propoganda :)
@alphant1 @alphant1 I think you're misinformed into how sexuality works, it's not something you can be influenced into being and nor is it something you can choose to be, the representation will not influence anyone to be gay, but rather help those that are gay feel included and represented. plus some people find gay characters appealing so it's a win-win. in my book :)
alphant1 I don’t think he’s really gay
alphant1 It’s called equality and respect, media should represent the world as it is.
Best one yet. I like it when the guest has time to be funny
Jack Hawley he’s hilarious
I can't remember the name of the gas, he was a black guy, he was very funny but she seemed kind of rude the whole time. I think they were making a pasta dish
damn. just texted my boyfriend the same thing.
@@luvely1062 I think it was Marlon Wayans. Yeah, that video felt super awkward...
@@janiceandthomas yes it was very awkward lol indeed his white people or black people food joke wasn't funny, but it felt like she just wanted to get the whole thing over with.
We need a reversal of this show where some celebrity comes in and instructs Carla on how to make something!
Nicolas Sardella they kinda do that in the latkes video :)
I agree on this
Sometimes I forget that the test kitchen is in one of the shmanciest buildings in NYC and that BA is pretty loaded
World Trade One actually has relatively cheap rent compared to other prime places in Manhattan as people are concerned about it being a terrorist target. Still super great location!
@@soccerlovin1 yeah a million dollars a year in rent is really relatively cheap for an office building in NYC. Ummm sure.
givememore4free In Manhatten it is... BA's parent company rents 1.2 million sq ft at around 45 per ft. A 55% discount conpred to the rest of SoHo. It is cheap than anywhere else.
@@givememore4free It's relative, you don't compare Manahattan to Long Island.
This is a Conde Nast company, money si not much of an issue.
Yup, Conde Nast is pretty much rolling in cash
When he accidentally ripped the tail off and flung it 🤣
9:49
Tail: *rips*
Eric: *tosses*
carla is extra glowing today it seems?? i literally cant explain it but wow GO MOM
She's a Mom?
@@SecondEvilEx she's our mom
@@kasper3215 House of Gourmet
Esmeralda Hernandez she is a mom
Omg ajss represent
8:07 y'all need to look at Carla's shoes...she is such a goddamn inspiration
Carolyn Hinson exactly! I wondered if someone noticed her shoes too 👏🏻
@@YvonneFr23 they are epic!
In whole honesty, he is, by far, the best in cooking in this show. It shows how much he knows what he was doing.
Edit: Wtf. Never had this much clout. Thanks.😂
But it was also one of the easiest dishes I've seen so far.
I would argue that Miz Cracker did really well and they made pasta from scratch so I think it’s a lot harder.
Hard disagree. Al Roker killed a much more difficult dish than peel the skin and fry the fish.
@@slumberlust I don't do "hard", but I do disagree. Al Roker was better
@@slumberlust it's kind of hard to argue with a man who yeets salt that way
"There’s a fish in nature that swims around with its babies in its mouth. That fish would look at Mitchell’s relationship with his mother and say, “That’s messed up.” Today we're cooking that fish.
funny
I could hear it in Cam's voice 😁😂
4:39 'Hey, you've done well so far fishy'
LOL
A new video from BA makes everything better
Tyler, please check my video and tell me what you think, buddy! I hope you like it! Xoxo
I just love that he wants to impress Carla so much that he researched all the cooking terms he could think of
13:22 is probably my favorite back to back reveal ever! Carly is honestly impressed and the expression on Eric's face is pure joy!
Carla's Shoes!! Ugh queen we stan forever.
I know Eric has "Modern Family" money, but I still feel like he'll balk a little bit when he finds out that burner costs $1500.
@cphginger Breville stuff is expensive - it's good quality, but it's not cheap at all. Their countertop pizza oven is $750.
Well 1500 dollars for a countertop burner, it's no different than If I was to have Wilson Combat trick out a Glock 19 for me, or One of Ernest Langdon's Berretta 92 or PX-4 compacts. if it's something you want well then buy it and don't give rats damn on what others may or may not think or say about it. I just looked it up on Amazon$1409.13 out the door with tax ( I am in CT 6.35%) and shipping. Not terrible, not cheap either. 1400 dollars is only about 2550 rounds of 9mm if you like to shoot you can go thru that in a couple of months or sooner if you complete in some of the target matches. I expect something like this burner would last for years. And think of cooking that fish!
@cphginger That's actually on "sale", they cost $1800 when they first came out... It's a restaurant grade induction burner with a couple feedback sensors (one in the burner surface, another as an optional probe you can put in liquids) that you can set to any temperature, down to 1 degree F resolution and hold there indefinitely. It is a cool piece of equipment, just beyond the scope of most home cooks.
Search for: Breville Polyscience Control Freak Induction to find out more.
I mean our 36" Wolf stove cost $13,000 so a $1,500 burner is not outrageous these days
@@MrSteelermania i could literally buy a home for that...jesus christ
The patience level of that woman... Impressive.
what do you mean, he kept up pretty great the whole time ?
@@wickywhybsgaming he did! I just think it's impressive how she thoroughly explains every little step of the process, in all of these videos.
“We can throw a log on it. I’m sure nobody in this building would notice” 👀👀 whomstve
the amount of times you see fire coming from that grill and everyone just walks past like its having its own personal moment is stuck with me
Omg!! That is the best reaction she has had ever, he is really good.
I love watching Carla do this series. She's so patient with people and does such a good job explaining things!
This was such a refreshing change from the usual chaotic guests that normally come on. BRAVO!
This series just keeps getting better and better
how do I get invited to Eric's BBQ damn
Be famous or exceptionally wealthy.
Crying at Carlas eff Trump shoes
At 8:04? I can’t make out what they say 😫
@@XTaitoX yes! I deff think that's what they say 😂
XTaitoX that's what they say! she posted them on her Twitter. 😂
Very good, Carla! 👏
@11:24
I like eric stonestreet, that was fun to watch. As a meal, that was super simple, but entertaining because of eric.
I’d love to see Carla do this with some of her colleagues in the test kitchen! Like if Carla gave instruction to brad, gaby, Claire, chris...
Well you've claried butter during your day--
Well if clarified a lot of things in my life
Lol
Ohh you sneaky Carla, you managed to tuck in a fish pun at 13:20 "Fish off"
This is why I love Carla
While I'm sure Eric can afford it, to clarify, the Breville Polyscience Control Freak Induction counter top burner is $1500.
It blew me away how much it costs. At that price you could get a whole induction rangetop...
However Brevile stuff is pretty nice though so I'm sure it is the best in class for stand alone induction top burners.
I wanted to buy one... ill just save that money and get a nice stove instead lol
Yea they use high end equipment. I learned that when I saw the pizza ovens they used during the pizza series was $800.
Is it really called control freak or were you just being facetious? Actually I bet it really is
@@emcdonald496 That's the name. It's because it has a digital display that is specific to the exact degree. None of this counting by 5 business that the common people's cook tops have.
Enjoyed the f**k outta this...the natural chemistry was amazing to watch and I love how understated he was, normally celebs vamp things up for entertainments sake but he kept the focus on the cooking and did a quality job. More guests like this please BA
Right? A good comparison would be the fabulous Eric with.... Al Roker. Al was fun, but Eric was easier to watch in this type of episode.
i thought i couldn't love carla more than i did... then i read what her shoes have written on them
Stupid
Friday and a BA test upload? Life is amazing.
Life is ok, I work all weekend.
Woozlewuzzleable rip dude
Carla mentioning lemon cheeks gave me flashbacks to Elizabeth Olsen's episode
Carla's low key political statement on her shoes, lol. 8:06
How the hell did you see that?
I don't get it. What is it ?
What is it??
'lowkey'
tip: turn up the resolution
Lol, f trump.
Good eye!
this is also a test of skill of Carla who has greatly improved her ability to describe and intstruct on cooking, perfect for writing a cooking book actually
The collab I never knew I needed. This video fills my heart with so much joy ❤️
Eric is one of the best celebrity chefs to do this. Right with her during every step
Omg like why does Carla look so beautiful today? She's glowinggg
I love this video
Love love love Eric Stonestreet.
I'm literally binging this series. Please add new episodes, love Carla and the guests thus far.
I love this series!! I watched this one in anticipation of Eric Stonestreet, A KC native that has always warmed my heart. I love it when he participates in the Children’s Mercy fundraiser with the KC Royals. I paid money to watch him and several other celebrities play softball with the Royals a few years ago. What a treat.
Carla, you rock this series and all of your episodes.
One of my favorite episodes! He did such a great job.
Eric is such a sweetheart 🧡 one of the most entertaining episodes! Thanks Carla!
Eric is amazing and I’m SO impressed with how well he did with this
He is so great!!! Really hope you all do another one!!
I've been binging this segment for the past few hours and seriously can we talk about how incredible she is at explaining what to do?! It's such a rare skill to have and she kills it!
Love these back to back chef videos! Carla has the best personality and overall demeanor for this type of video. Also the people you choose to have on the show each episode..perfect. please make more BTB CHEF! 😄
i love eric with my entire heart
This was so soothing. Wow.
Oh gosh please come again Eric 😍😍😍
BEST one so far. This is bliss.
So far the most humble man great cook
I love him! Great episode he’s so funny hahaha when he ripped off the tail
This was my favorite "back to back chef" episode 😍😍 I love Carla and this show ❤❤ please do more of this with Eric 🤩🤩
so great, perfect
Carla is such a great teacher. She is thorough. Such basic instructions for such complicated dishes. Her voice, Her cadence. She motivates her guest. Then such positive feedback at the end of the cooking segment. I would love to learn from her!
both such awesome captivating people
I love these. But I will watch anything with Eric in it. Freaking love him
I loved this so much!
I love this series so much. Carla's amazing at this.
I love these videos!! Keep doing them!
Wow, I feel like this is easy enough for me to attempt too! Love this series so much!
I love you both so much 😭 you both nailed it!
This was much needed.
This is one of my favorites. You guys need to do a couple of these.
He did such a great job
Truly delightful....
This lady is a brilliant teacher!

Love these back to back episodes. Very funny! More of these please!!
I love Eric Stonestreet!
So thoroughly enjoyable.
OH MY GOD! You're a real cook. That reaction was priceless.
13:55 Lol his jokester French accent 🤣 "How dare you do that! DO NOT DO THAT!!"
these back to back are the funniest things i have discovered in so long. helping me get thru then end of 2020, thank you.
I love and agree with what is written on your sneakers. Some things will never change.
And your sole meuniere came out perfect.
I just love this Show and Carla and each time I think I could not possible love it more. But each video shows me it's possible to adore it more.
This was delightful. Thank you.
Shoutout to her shoes. They have a very interesting message on them 👏
Love this! I love how surprised Carla was with Eric's final fish.
I adore this series so much! Please never ever stop making these videos! I've learned so much and want to try some of these recipes! I do have a question, though. I live in Arkansas so there aren't any fresh fish mongers here. Where can I find fresh fish? Aside from fishing lol.
I believe in Arkansas you won't find fresh ocean fish. The fish will be frozen at some point. If you want to pay exorbitant amounts of money, get a charter to fly it In packed in dry ice.
I feel sorry for you. I live in Ocean County, New Jersey. I can go to the docks and get fresh fish off the boat.
@@njoldguy8728 Thank you for your guidance! ☺️ I feel sorry for me, too lol.
I love these two together! Omg ❤️
I know it's random but I would looove to see one with Jim Gaffigan ! He lives in New York, always talks about food and is hilarious. It would simply be awesome :D
He was fantastic!
Loved this video!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Best yet!
