I'm interested to know how you all feel about the intro? Sirena offered it so thought I'd add it. Useful bonus footage or does it detract from the normal AQUAHOLIC yacht tour video style?

Your videos for some reason are very calming on the soul, unlike the prices of the yachts would suggest! The intro, although, nice edited, felt too busy, of course this imho!

I didn't think the intro hurt the video...it wasn't necessarily needed with your great tour, but was a preview to it!

Intro was nice, but its certainly a jump in "production quality". Dont get me wrong, I absolutely enjoy the heck out of your calm, thorough walkthroughs. And there's something about that british accent that's very soothing. But you should work on making smoother camera work. Also, don't be afraid to do B-roll footage you can do voice-overs to. I think that would bring your channel to the "next level".
I would recommend you invest in a gimbal, such as the DJI Osmo series: www.dji.com/dk/products/osmo?site=brandsite&from=nav
Personally I have a Osmo Mobile 2, which you snap your iPhone in, and its creates butter smooth, almost steadycam-like, footage.

Not needed sir. The simplicity of your presentation is what stands out so loud and clear in your videos. To be honest, Within 10 or so seconds of starting the video I paused it to type a comment along the lines of “Please watch one of Aquaholic’s videos to see how it’s done”, then you appeared! So many reviewers get in the way. You put us right there in the action.

All extremely well appointed and spacious, the master cabin is absolutely Insanely innovative and beautiful all the windows and the private exit! Lovey boat I loved it and cannot type enough about it absolutely incredible so it's like a 120 footer
Ps there's so much space in that e room needs bigger engines :) or put them on pods push them back and give the crew more space

    • @aaronvanrensburgcom
      @aaronvanrensburgcom 4 роки тому

Engines are fine, no need for bigger but literally 2m can be taken from that engine room, I'd keep crew the same size and make a big garage for a tender, ski and lots of toys. There are 4+ social spaces on the yacht the crew just hangout either with the guests or in one of the other 3 that they aren't in. The crew space is just for sleeping, after they've eaten, relaxed and everything and they want to go to bed. It serves its purpose fine, Id only add a tiny bit to that bathroom because its a bit sad but the rest is fine. also make it 2 double bunks for the 4 crew instead of a double bed

As for the rest of the boat, I don't what to say but it's sensational in every way - faultless (well, I did thinmk the view from the pilothouse was a bit restricted over the screens, but hey). The one thing I don't understand with this boat is that a walk-in closet is in the VIP area. We definitely would have bought this one if they had at least one walk in in the master bedroom. We like to follow the other features there were a few that we did not but we could have worked with that. It was the lack of closet space in the master that made up our mind.

Overall, I was impressed with the yacht design, excellent use of space for accommodations, except the crew quarters were very cramped and a bummer on morale. I noted some other nicks, such as the trip hazard at the stairs going from the top deck down. No handrails in any of the stairwells and nothing to hold on to when exiting the top deck to the side deck going forward. Pilothouse instruments interfered with forward view, exasperated by smallish front windows. I would rather have the more common elevated sitting area L bench with a table rather than the flat lounge up there, that arrangement was odd. The pilothouse could have been designed better and the galley expanded to provide more surface workspace. The engine room was spectacular. I'm sure if I were to watch your very good review again, I would focus on guest safety, especially when there is a mix of rough seas and drinking too much.

Great intro that sets the tone of the producto. Good idea to put it.
The design is great and it is becoming more popular (like Astondoa, Illum Dominator?, etc)

Superb boat, best packaged and most bang for the buck - could easily be owner managed or just sailed by the owner (we can dream can't we!). Little things like access to the front (infinity!) tub from the master bedroom really suggest its designed with owner running in mind. The only thing that lets it down is the way way too generous engine room space, which is just poorly thought out, if they'd managed to make it just a little bit tighter in terms of packaging (perhaps adding a platform above the engine with a clamp for repairs and storage) they could have made the crew quarters so much nicer. All that wasted engine room space is making the crew's life that bit harder.
Still well done to Sirena. By far the best boat pound for pound.

I believe that they are going to use some engineroom space to increase the crew quarters.

@@AQUAHOLIC Thank you for the info! I hope they do! It would make this an astonishingly good yacht, i'd go as far as to say unbeatable. Its that perfect size that someone who's used to large powerboats on holidays could get accustomed to handling, plus it'd still have knock out charter potential with a crew. It'll be interesting to see how the other companies respond to this; because it really feels like something that is a game changer in the market. Well done Sirena!

Its a very impressive yacht I loved the rooms it had decent size and the laundry facility is much appreciated, what I didn’t like is : the bridge it felt tight and not welcoming, the crew place is small and not nice.
Other than that this is the yacht of my dreams

Stunning layout and i'm also a fan of the exterior design (I imagine a lot won't be) The steps from the owner cabin up to the mini-pool at the bow was most unexpected. The crew dont fair well with their space, particularly on a boat with such a potentially long range, but the guest accomodation is incredible. The interior design was also lovely, is it done in house or a seperate designer team?

I was very excited when I saw you were reviewing this yacht. At first, with the intro, I thought it was going to be stock footage but soon enough I saw your smiling face and the usual great tour. Whoa, what a yacht design. Very very impressed. Every area bar one was so spacious and really exuded luxury. What did you honestly think of the Pilothouse? Visibility didn't look great or was that just the video? Otherwise, thank you for an amazing tour of an amazing yacht.

Brilliant layout for the most part, but the galley is way too small to cook for 10 (or maybe 13 because I didn’t see a crew galley?). Wish they would borrow some space from the engine room to make the crew area a bit bigger.

This was an absolute joy to watch, as always Nick and as far as I am concerned, no one in this business does it better than you mate. You give an excellent overview of your subjects, allowing us to savour each aspect just long enough, before moving on to the next interesting feature....such a treat; I wish the rest of the yacht vloggers did it as well as you. As to the intro, I personally found it jarring with all the special effects and flashing images and left me feeling a bit nauseous....I am really not a big fan of special effects, especially just for the sake of them. I would be interested to hear what your tens of thousands of followers and fans think of it. Once again Nick, thanks for doing your subject proud.

With an outright purchase yes 9 figures net would be most appropriate.
For financing on favourable terms with an 8 figure balance earning a good annual Roi it could also work well without such an action being deemed overly excessive.

Visibility looks about normal for a yacht that size. With all the radar they won't have a problem in the ocean. Plus it has an upper helm and to wing stations for better visibility and docking. My biggest pet peeve on such a better yacht is the crew area. They can condense that engine room a few feet to give more space and maybe a crew mess area. Also find a way to make that captains bunk enclosed with a wet head. Maybe make it 90 feet. Guest wouldn't make spending 2 or 3 weeks aboard. The crew as it stands would hate it.
