Hello from Germany :) I use Nova on all my Androids and so do on my DM98 too. With your video i found some nice Modification for the Watch, thanks. My favorite Clock is SENSE FLIP CLOCK & WEATHER, because it is a 2in1 App.
Meanwhile the DM98 is an "old" Gadet, but it seems to be unbeatable since today ...

Just got my DM98 how do I get it off airplane mode
It's got to be in setting>> wireless and networks. Or maybe settings>>power/battery.
Turn Off the Power Saving mode Off. It will turn off the Flight Mode.

Very good approach to what the dm98 can do and really is (a wristcomputer), you are a beacon in a dark smart'watch' sea.

I am working on my LEM4 Pro video now! It's a great upgrade from the DM98. FYI, the LEM4 PRO is actually called the DM99.

Hey Jason, thanks for the great hint with the Nova Launcher! I only have the problem that I do not get back to the launcher if I click on the hardwarebutton of the watch - it turns the watch off. If I press it long, it only shows the menu of the OS to turn off the watch, reboot or open the launcher/back. I believe the launcher was opened when pushing the button in the first days... Do you have the same issue or any solution? To long press the hardwarebutton and then click "back" is very annoying to open the launcher.

Hey Jason, love your content! So I bought the Nova Prime Launcher for my Lem4pro but couldn't get the notification shade to work. I really want those toggles and notification shade as it looks default. Whenever you can pls reach out and let me know the steps you took to enable that function. Thanks so much!

Thnx for your video. Have nova launcher on my watch now. I use watch droid phone and watch droid assitant to conect the DM98 to my phone (over bluetooth). Work great. I can replay to whatsapp and textmessages, and get the call pushed to my watch (only to decline the call) but i can see who's calling.

Hi jason thanks for the video ive just installed it and have same watch, problem im having is when i want to turn the display off by pressing the button the watch goes into search or recent applications, i just want the screen display turn off, any idea how to correct this please?
Great tips! Great videos! Following your steps I got my DM98 close to 100%. Battery life is decent too. Two questions, have you figured out a way to keep it from freezing on the notification screen like that? Mine seems to pop up that notification shade on its own then would freeze there. I had to power cycle it like 3 times throughout the afternoon. Also did you ever figure out a way to have the stock watch faces show 12hr instead of 24hr? It does feel a little more stable using the original OS vs using Nova. Thank you for the videos! One more thing are you still using your DM98 or have you found something new?

I have a wide range of smartwatches (I’m embarrassed at the sheer number), the point is that I should know my way around them by now…Not so fortunate with the DM98 - it won't load the weather, has no stock GPS app, will not connect to my LG smartphone using “Funfit” as well as a whole host of other related issues.
So unfortunate as I was looking forward to a new watch with a large enough screen to work on. Sadly, the onscreen keypad is minute and difficult, if not imposable to type on. The fact that one can’t make Bluetooth phone calls is also disappointing but not a significant issue as it can easily be substituted with Skype, Viber, etc.
At the end of the day, I should have purchased the DM99 !
Perhaps I mentioned it in my second DM98 video. @@vaughnsdesk8676. Unfortunately my DM98 got destroyed, so I can't remember how to do it.
Its kind of stupid that the DM99 is not being marketted as the successor to the DM98. I guess there are a lot of unsold DM98s that the vendors are trying to get rid of.

Hello. I hope for your help. I bought DM98 and when it turned on it did not ask me any pins to access. In fact it never set. But since the battery has downloaded and since the reloaded I can no longer access the smartwatch. He asks me for this damn pin to exceed, which I repeat I never set. I can't log in anymore. How can I do to solve the problem? Is there any way to reset the smartwatch? It asks me for the pin even if the SIM is not inserted.

You cannot use Bluetooth to make calls on the watch. I know, it sucks!
Greetings JasonJ Brown, I have been trying for a while to use video wallpapers but I can't set them, no matter if I do it from Live Video Wallpaper or from Nova Launcher wallpaper option. I believe my Android is 4.4 which does not allow to use Live Wallpaper, can you confirm me that or explain me how to fix this? Thank you. Edit: For extra information, when using Nova Launcher Wallpaper option it does not allow me to select videos, only pictures and when I try from Live Video Wallpaper it says "Live Video Wallpaper (or whatever is it's name) has been closed."

In the Netflix app, are you able to download movies, shows, etc for offline viewing? How long would the battery last watching Netflix with bluetooth headphones on? I only need this thing for watching movies at work.
I think you would not have enough memory to download Netflix movies. Try the LEM4 Pro instead
One problem : I have the Option "Video" but it says "App not installed" .. Any Idea what to do?

I am glad you shared this video. I was wondering if you could provide me a little more help. I live in India. I have purchased the same watch recently from online store. Unfortunately this watch is not registering any SIM cards to the network. What surprises me is that it recognizes the SIM carrier however doesn't register to the network and I get a notification on the phone could not connect to the network, try again later. I have tried using 4 SIM carrier and also tried to reset the watch to factory default couple of times but none of it resolved the issue. If you have any solution or suggestion, please drop me an email if you can or if you could simply reply to this msg.

Consider the DM100 or the DM99 instead. The DM100 / LemT has a better screen for home control buttons.

Buy instead the DM99 aka LEMFO 4 PRO. It is the newer version of this watch.

Maybe check the local classifieds for someone who unlocks phones. They usually have a deep understanding of software and can do things like root a phone. I'm sure they wouldn't charge much to set up your watch.

After 2 days of playing with the watch only positive thing I can say about it is that I’m glad I only wasted $90 for it. Thanks for the helpful videos though.
It is what it is, not for the mainstream. But for a gearhead this device is a good start. There is a second version of this watch available already. I think the second version worth a gamble. At least you did not buy the original gold Apple Watch!

Not sure. Try connecting to other computers. The DM98 should immediately show up as a USB drive. It does not seem to require any drivers.
Can someone help me how i can reset my smartwatch? I instal a battert widget and it asks for permission voor obtain current position and wether i choose deny or allow it just remain there. I restart the watch it dosent help. I cant remove that thing and it blocks me tö use the wacht. Is there some where on the watch that i can reset in the fabrics state. Please help.
That sounds like a pain in the ass. Did you try uninstalling Nova Launcher?

No i didnt tried that because i couldnt use the screen. I found a way to free the screen for a seconds by keep presing allow and i used the seconds step by step to go and uninstal the widget. In total i pres maybe 50 times to be abel to get the seconds i need to rich the uninstal button. Now i can use my smart watch again. Thanks .
I had the same problem, its not related to the launcher, but an option the watch has. Its under security and is called "app permissions". I activated it and got bombed by permission notifications, and for some reason the watch does not remember when you tell it to accept or deny a permission, so it just keeps asking. Some apps seems to use some of these features all the time, making it almost impossible just to get to the settings and disable this setting.

You should be able to connect the USB cable to your computer, see my other DM98 video.
