Dude, Jeff you are incredible. Standing ovation from me over here. I knew you could do it! I've got a LOT to work on, and this video laid the steps out perfectly. Also, mad props for not altering the trail to make it easier. I've got over 300 attempts on this and i still can't get past the gatekeeper. I love how you casually bunnyhop up that 33" ledge, in the sand, like it's nothing.
Nice work Jeff! Thanks to Steve for sending out the challenge, sharing it with Kendall Weed and now being examined, completed and illustrated to us by the Trail Boss. I love the continuity of content between the channels.
As an aside...super interesting ads! Started off with one on packs for bikepacking which I’m about to get into. 😁. And that’s the first time I’ve seen anything on crypto...crazy stuff!
After just a year and a half of MTB, the more I ride the more I can appreciate this channel and Jeff’s skill. Even with the GoPro effect this looked crazy hard. In real life It’s hard to imagine. Beautiful place too.
Amazing combination of master technique, strength and endurance. Wow! The way you break the trail down (this one and previous vids) into individual features and then analyze and tackle each has helped me a lot in my own riding. Keep them coming! And thanks!
Thanks for being honest about how hard this is and how many times you sessioned the sections. It’s good to know that even the pros struggle with trail climbs.
Watched JKW and HTP session this a couple of months ago. HTP wasn't even close. JKW almost had it. I challenged JKW to go up Horsethief and referenced your accomplishment. Skill is one thing but the anaerobic effort and tolerating the lactic acid pain are just as important. You are The Boss. I cleaned Horsethief after about 20 mins of sessioning, but that was dropping in. lol
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss Probably the most techy drop in I have ever done in 30 years of riding. Did it back in the day on 26" on a vacation to Durango, Fruita, and Moab. From Ohio and that trip was life changing in the progression of my riding. Gotta get back there on my 29er.
I see this and then I remember that I struggle on on trails that are 100 times smoother, and then... I realize that Jeff is super exceptional athlete 👏 👏👏... much respect...
earlier this year i went out to sedona and checked out this trail...i've come back to report that, it is very impossible! lol. it requires so many moves that are just foreign to me... not to mention the physical ability. great job jeff!
Not often I see a "video coming tomorrow" post and remember to come back tomorrow. Insane, we need to see your 23&Me, theres gotta be mountain goat in there somewhere lol
Dude amidst all the crazy jumping and flipping seeing something technically challenging put out is so refreshingly fun 👌 It also shows that hopping is such a valuable trail skill 🤣
I loved that video with Steve and Jeff trying this out, I really thought they were gonna get it. You make it look too easy man! Time to put more energy into trials practice I guess!
Mad props for cleaning that section! I also really enjoyed Steve's video and it pretty much looked impossible. I'm curious how many attempts it took for you to get it.....
I rode it on two days. The first day I got to the tree in about 7 tries? Then I kept messing up and made it about 5 feet from the top and dabbed and called it quits because I was shot and it was really hot. I went back a couple days later And shot those lines on the way up and then did the full lower section in about 5 tries. I was really stoked to NOT have to keep trying lol.

Thanks Steve! It was tricky for sure. Thank you for the inspiration.

Incredible. Just bonkers linking all those sections together
This is one time being tall actually helps on a mountain bike.
@@petedog9581 I'm glad Jeff addressed the height difference. His height sure didn't help with that tree squeeze move though!
Damnnn!! Jeff thats freakin!! Nasty!!...Great Job Man
One of my new favourite mountain bike videos along with your Horsethief Bench climb. Love this technical analysis/climbing content!
Thanks Dale, glad you like it.
Animal. That's seriously impressive.

As an aside...super interesting ads! Started off with one on packs for bikepacking which I’m about to get into. 😁. And that’s the first time I’ve seen anything on crypto...crazy stuff!
That’s weird. You must have been googling that stuff huh?
👑 You dropped this, king 🥲

Great effort Jeff!
Will + Skill = a way!!!!

Now that was super cool loved the boost up the ledge at the bottom.
Mind Blown!
Amazing combination of master technique, strength and endurance. Wow! The way you break the trail down (this one and previous vids) into individual features and then analyze and tackle each has helped me a lot in my own riding. Keep them coming! And thanks!
This is probably the coolest mtb video I've seen in years
THANK YOU!
If I was to put money on anyone that I thought could do that, it would be you. You are a bad ass. Super fun to watch you tackle that thing.
Thank you Robert!
You are amazing Jeff, i feel like its your calling to help and inspire others in this great sport. Keep it Rockin'
WOW! That's crazy impressive technique clearing that section.

Damn! That's sick!
Thank you!
Awesome riding bro

Seriously impressive! It’s really cool to watch you break down and with through the process of a climb like that.
thanks for watching!
Bless your heart, Jeff. You're amazing. I love the youtube community you guys (yourself, JKW and Steve) have exposed us to.
Only Jeff Lenosky rides down to get to ride back up something this challenging hahah! So awesome
Thanks for being honest about how hard this is and how many times you sessioned the sections. It’s good to know that even the pros struggle with trail climbs.
Thank you for checking it out Tracy
I don't even think I could make it DOWN that in one piece. What a BOSS.
So talented. And using a bike like a pogo stick! Cheers, Gavin
I’m from the Sedona area. I love riding down that trail, but I can’t imagine riding up. Great job!
That was inspirational
Always absolutely mind blowing and a pleasure to watch you ride, wether it's on video or live in person...bravo!!!
You are a beast!
Gotta be my next bike destination. So dope.

that's super impressive riding down as well, that's a tough trail!!

Making it look easy as always, it's the trails experience that helps the most!
So underrated, trail boss 4sure!!👌
Dang that's amazing man! Thanks for the detailed walk through. Time to get on the back and get back to work!
That was freaking awesome Jeff! Fantastic job man!
Awesome skills impressive!
you make a lot of it look way easier than it actually is, that's for sure....props!
Sick Gnar. I'd love to take my REEB there! 🍻
Awesome work! BTW I have to say this may be the first time I've seen a video with NO thumbs down. Loved that wheel lock (great rest )!
I’m sure you jinxed it now. Lol
I see this and then I remember that I struggle on on trails that are 100 times smoother, and then... I realize that Jeff is super exceptional athlete 👏 👏👏... much respect...

Man, you are climbing like a TRAIL BOSS!
Always inspiring! Keep it up!
this is more exciting than a lot of downhill only videos!! dam, talk about skillZ. Sedona is no joke.
Impressive. I need to work on my trials skills. In general, I count on speed and momentum to get through most technical trail sections.
Dude amidst all the crazy jumping and flipping seeing something technically challenging put out is so refreshingly fun 👌 It also shows that hopping is such a valuable trail skill 🤣
That was impressive
I follow Steve at Hardtail Party also. Saw his video here. You should ride with Steve next time you’re there! Congrats on the clean run, bottoms up!

I think he's Billy Goat that's part human.

Holy shit. This is nuts!
Brutal! You make it look simple! 🤘🏼
