The torque wrench must be at 90 degrees to the adapter for proper measurement!!
Yep
Please address the torque value change when using this tool at an angle in another video. This could be very dangerous if not taken into consideration.
As always great tips Alf.
Thanks so much Zak
I am just now seeing this video and it is the best! Your axle nut adapter is great for loosening the rear wheel to tighten the drive belt without removing the exhaust! Amazon in the US has the same "axle nut adapter", and I just ordered one. Thanks!
Glad it helped cheers
If your using the marker pen you need to mark both sides as the bolt may of twisted and you could end up over 3/4 of a turn out.. but good idea..

Or just put the axle in the other way round ( making sure to keep the spacers in the same order of course) No need to remove the exhausts.
ha ha yep
There are various reasons and theories as to why the axle is put in with the nut on the right, but consider if the bearings seize and or the axle spins with the wheel, with the nut on the right the rotational force will be on tightening the nut, mounting the nut on the left the force will be on loosening the nut and can spin it off the axel!
Yep
@@marmotvids630 Good point, I hadn't considered that. There had to be a reason for it.
