Old Reiko probably broke into Shao Khan's throne room just to sit on his throne and wear his helmet, that's how much of a simp he was. This Reiko simply adores his leader, he vibes with his vision for Outworld.

Another thing i find interesting is that he stayed true as a jobber even to his death. Around 70% of his dialogue is just him simping over Shao, and in his Tower Ending, he literally sacrificed himself to fight Onaga, just because Shao order him too.
For the ending, good version Reiko actually looks cool. It would be interesting if the storyline for him goes to where he goes on his own Independent path and finds peace, no longer wishing war. To make a sort of edit, I’ve thought of his story even going towards the Gladiator storyline path, the russel Crowe movie. Perhaps he finds love and General Shao kills his wife and maybe children for the “betrayal”. This leads to Reiko getting revenge on Shao.
We did had Good Reiko with a new fresh haircut And damn his dialogue when talking to Liu Kang is really feels like he let go of the "war is fun" attitude
It makes so much why he likes violence and combat and General Shoa because he was a staving orphan and fought just to survive and shoa took him and thus why he respects him it’s all he knows

Frankly, Reptile had a point. I groaned in cringe, when I saw Reiko walking in in Raiden's chapter. I would understand a Thunder God besting one of Shao Kahn's toughest generals, but this Reiko was no slouch either, albeit he had a different rank, and Raiden was just the guy who lost to Lin Kuei pulling punches and beat up his friends who got too cocky with him. Even with his amulet, he should have lost. But no, informed super tough jobbers FTW.
Well, when you’re on the villain side you don’t get a victory. It’s the issue when it comes to the chapter system. You’re either the good guy and get some wins or you’re the villain and get no wins. Which is why the villains can never be taken seriously in these games.
