I am an 18 year old. With this quarantine n all I don't have anyone to share my inner thoughts because no one understands me. They think I am crazy when I try to tell them the truth.( My parents and I are Asian.Even though they see it they are afraid of my future). So I imposed a rule for my self that I would not impose my beliefs on someone else unless they willingly come to me.
This channel is so good that I feel I am not crazy, but alive with all these like minded people.
    Bless everyone!!!

Forgive your parents......that IS the beginning of process , no judging........ they are doing it out of fear and love for you. It’s all they know how to do..........❤️🙏.....but let the EMOTIONS PASS THROUGH you❤️.... don’t hold them in your body....... just acknowledge them, take a breath and release them through breath. Don’t make the mistake I did of learning this 40 years too late........emotions are just sensations...... We are NOT our Emotions , they SHOULD Flow through........( this is very therapeutic for me as I write, lol)........Stay Well🙏🌿❤️🌻

Sugar, I'm 45 & I know EXACTLY what you mean! You're very blessed to have this realization in your life now. I spent 40 YEARS of my life truly believing there was something wrong with me. And only in my 45th year did I actually make peace with the fact that it's not me. Now I'm teaching myself to let go of the frustration of people who don't see/feel what is obvious to us. At your young age you've taught this "old timer" a mantra - let them come willingly. Thank you💜🌼

  • @laurenmichelle6346
    @laurenmichelle6346 2 роки тому +92

As a parent, I feel a need to state the obvious here. Some people take advice too literally. The giving of attention to babies, toddlers & children should ALWAYS be timeously! It's HOW we react to each demand of the child, that makes the difference in the interaction & it serves as guidance to the child, on how to go through a moment.
Sidenote: I used to lay a blanket out on the lawn & my 2 toddlers (at the time) & I would lie outside. I get them to close their eyes & then I'd ask them to tell me everything they could hear, then what they could smell & then what they could feel. To this day I still point out sunsets, bird sounds, trees, smell of a storm, beautiful fields, etc. to my, now, teenagers - my way of teaching them presence.

lovely ! i've witnessed the result of teaching 4 yr olds to simply take a breath before replying to teacher , doing a task , going to out to recess , and when home if afraid .. worked wonders one child even said it helped him control his life . taking that breath will certainly keep reactions at bay.. and also the catholic mum might notice her understanding of the chosen religious path unfolding with ease ..

I started to awaken in 2015. I had an insight moment with my kids, exactly what Eckart saying. After the insight, me and my youngest were waiting in emergency at the hospital, we all know how the wait times can be!!
This couple with there toddler were pretty calm on arrival, toddler was content but as time went on, the parents started to get frustrated. As I watched, the more this couple got frustrated, the more the toddler felt frustrated and started playing up, crying and having tantrums. That was the moment I realised that my insights were on point and I made sure my energy was in check whilst raising my children. They are not perfect! They still have a lot of growing to do and alot of wisdom to gain. But that insight taught me to be a solid foundation for my kids to come home to. My oldest is 22 now and my youngest is 10.
They are not “awakened” children. They go through life like everyone else, it’s accepting them as they are in that moment and allowing them to go through life’s lessons.

Tears in my eyes...I meant well, did everything for my kids, worked too much, was not present enough, focused on them doing the right things not acknowledging their being, now they are teenagers, insecure, anxious, depressed, always wonder what's wrong with them, drowning in finding themselves and a future
I wish I had known, seen and done this change of the nervous energy field years ago

Teach children presence?!? That‘s kinda funny. Because basically they always are. Unless you teach them otherwise. 🤣
So I suggest: Let your children teach you how to be more present.

    • @MagicToadSlime

Kids are often conditioned NOT to be present from a very early age by their parents/carers. Eckhart is explaining here how to nurture a mutual interplay of being and presence with your kids (teaching through example without making it an explicit ‘lesson’)

@@jabud Rather than 'nurturing a mutual interplay of blah de blah de blah' - which, let's face face it is a bit of a mouthful and is likely to bore any child (and me) rigid - it is better to just let them play ... and play ... and play. They'll totally get that.

Yes, Rhonda, every day I try to forgive. Every time my mother saw me, she was reminded of her greatest disappointment, and she never forgave my existence.
As a consequence, I struggle with the thought of forgiving her. I’m just unable to as yet.
She’s gone now, but I see the damage she caused me in my life with her disdain and indifference towards me.
I don’t know that I will be able to resolve it those feelings of abandonment. I don’t know where to start. I guess because I just figured out what happened, is a beginning.

When i had my awakening. It felt like i went back through years back and realized how much i missed those times with my children theres so much guilt and regret its the most painful u could ever felt. Now, i pay attention to them and making them feel the priorities so they can have a self worth and slowly working but i got more time. My awakening is like time travel consciousness brought me to past but i can only change the future but in order to do that i have to be very self aware. And they grow up with the sense of pride and for them life become much easier than i have been.

Important message, I have a near 3 month old and have started to increase my alertness and awareness when he goes into his crying fits, as opposed to reacting negatively.

It's funny because this teachings are so obvious if you watch without to much thinking.... But we are so used to thinking and it confuses us a lot....and now I know what problem I had with a friend of mine and her motherhood, I had the feeling she makes everything all the time (in fact a little bit too much) but never just played or watched her kids, plus she always told me what a great mother she was, which alienated me.... I don't feel I am a great mother... And maby my best times with my daughter are when I don't think at all and just an, and am not feeding the troll who wants to be great

In some areas, children really do have an "advantage". If you've never experienced/seen something, you have no reaction for that situation and naturally incline to mindfulness =)
