Leather seat came with the sline, heated was a option. Cruise control was an option but dealer will fit it for about £400. Flappy paddles comes standard with automatic gear box. When they make the car, the flappy paddles is already supported so it's only the cost of 2 switches and some wires. The first gear is a eco/wear thing. As a mechanic, I personally dispise electronic dip sticks so I'll give you that one
One of the things I hate is when someone buys a car that isn't spec'ed to what they want. You could buy a French car that has most of the the specs you're after with only one downside....it would be a french car.

Just had to suck it up mate for the price and spec. Waiting on a new build VW tiguan R line with everything but might not be able to part with the audi now lol

Really odd and unnecessary to fit flappy paddles to a 2.0 diesel and probably cost them a lot to fit when it’s not designed to be fast. Hello. No problems what so ever... apart from the Automatic Gearbox will come up with a fault from time to time. I have just serviced the Gearbox with new oil and a filter and this has solved the problem. I would recommend looking through the cars history and see if the Gearbox has been serviced. Along with engine servicing.. another thing to check is Timing Belt. Check to see when this was replaced last. Mine is almost ready for brake discs and pads, and have worn quickly so another think to check or ask. But as for faults or Problems. I have had none at all. A very safe and reliable car. Nice video man! Just subscribed, the jerky-ness and not going back into first is a DSG/S-tronic problem. All about the longevity of the gearbox apparently, only fixed if you get a DSG tune or buy a Porsche with a PDK dual clutch! I’ve just purchased a 2011 Q5 3.2L, will be interesting to see what it’s like once it arrives being from an auction, nice to see a video about Q5s of this age/spec as I believe it’s similar to mine! Keep it up man.

Yes !! Bought from an auction, in a hurry so never got chance to check extras !! The automatic gearbox started slipping and had to go for a re build. Costing 2500. . Which was a big headache. But taking this away. It was a fantastic car. You wife's an Auto or Manual. ?

In my opinion the Q5s a bit of cheap tacky car but with a quality brand name. How can a car be released from a showroom for an odd 40 grand and doesn't have heated seats! My dad's kia venga was 4 grand and has heated seats and has an oil dipstick 🤣. One of me uncles owns an SQ5 which is fairly quick but it still shows signs of cheapness. For me if I wanted an SUV it would have to be a Range Rover SVR or nothing, though they're very expensive. Keep the videos coming through Dale, am enjoying them👍

I have Audi q5 2009 same colour 2.0tdi s line manual. But I have heated seats and cruise control. I thought all s line model with leather seats has heated seats. OMG.

I got an a6 and between gears 1 an 2 manual it also jerks or judder . I brought it to mechanic and no faults found. I did all the clutch test for slips and again no faults found... however its annoying.... did you learn anything else about that on your q5. Let me know

With Audi everything is optional. So any ootions you're missing is your own fault. Deal with it. Also, not sure about the diesels but for the tfsi you can buy an aftermarket dipstick.

@@spottedmotors that's simply not how Audi and other premium brands work. The buyer can put together the car the way he/she wants it. A completely standard Audi has almost nothing on it. For example, the Q5 in your video has the complete S-line package, but a pretty basic radio.
Well that's my whole point. It should be standard on a car of this cost. Extras should be sat nav and wheels. Not the basic kit cars like this should come with.. As for the Basic radio?? Its DAB and Bang & Oulfsen ..... ?? Basic ??

The bonnet opener is made that way so no one can break into it and open the bonnet wen it’s dead locked simples

Two litre works best with the six speed manual, Three litre works with the automatic best.
