Thank for that review. I am PC and PS5 player and used to an old Steelseries Artic Wireless Pro headset. Searching for something which is easy to use with VR headsets and using it on PS5 was a mess. First try was an HyperX Orbit S. Good sound but it was wired. Second was a Razer BlackShark Pro V2 which is good but using it together with an VR headset was uncomfortable. And my ears got uncomfortable warm. So I ordered the H7 and was surprised because it suits perfectly over any headstrap. Sound was good but i could hear my PC fans. At last I went with the H9 and I am happy now. NC + good sound + lightweight+ comfortable + VR headstrap suitable.
Just the mics? Bro, the Pulse 3D sound is garbage too. I still use my HyperX Cloud since ps4 and they are better than many of the ps5 headphones. The 3D Pulse headset doesn't even support decent 360 sound. With the HyperXCloud i can hear footsteps from enemies behind me as if they are in my room

Awesome dude! Totally get it with the wires, it can be really annoying. And I did a mic test of the H9 in one of my videos on the Beyerdynamic MMX 200 and the H9 did not have good background cancellation. If you don’t need the noise cancellation, I think the H7 would be a better deal in your situation instead of the H9. I bought this headset a while back only because it was the only headsetthat had simultaneous Bluetooth that does not bug out with an om range. Looking at it now. Noise cancellation is useless sine I don't use it and the sound stage is horrible where all sounds are on top of teaching other with barely any seperatiod even after eq it still base heavy and it overpowers a lot of the detail. There are so many better headsets for PC right now that makes the H9 not worth it. On the other hand for PS5 its a good buy but probably the H7 is the better price/performance headset
Yeah these are awsome headset but cheaper and better exist, Good example are the EPOS Sennheiser GSP 370 100hours of gaming time so more than 200% more time. and the sound are more crisp and have more base. And if you are a fps gamer sennheiser wins
How come the headsets always has a shitty mic? It has two jobs. Play sounds, and pick up your voice via the mic. Get a decent mic!!! Also, why are they using an USB-A Dongle? I would expect USB-C for todays hardware.

My leather came away from the head band after 14 months, got a free replacement no problem at all from currys in the uk.
I have run across complaints abouts the mic elsewhere and people asking when updates will happen for it. That is crap for a headeset at this price range
Just bought a brand new H9 from American Pawn for $70 😮
Sweet grab!
The H7 is more comfortable with the foam/cloth cups over leather cups
I’ll agree to that since the leather cups cave in over time 😵💫
Whats holding the headset?
It’s a headphone stand from Grovemade 👍🏼
Man the h9 audio is great and it’s very comfortable, but the mic is pretty bad
Completely agree!
How did it turn out for you? Did you go through anything bad with the headset?
@@ahmedsaajiu6234 yeah with the software update, but other than that no, I use them to this day for my ps5 and pc, great audio, bad but usable mic, very comfortable, 0 regrets
@@thenegotiator7243 how is the headband bro? I see many complaints of headband cushion coming off whats your experience
@@ahmedsaajiu6234 mine never came off, it’s very soft and comfortable I can play for hours and still feel like I just put them on. Maybe if you don’t care for them and use them very very intensely it’s a possibility, but never had that problem
Dongle doesn’t fit ps5 slim
Yeah, you’ll have to get a usb c to usb a adapter 😔
The only thing I found bad about these headphones was the headband glue, comes apart so easily I had to return mine to amazon and I brought another set
Oh wow I haven’t even considered this a problem! Which part of the headband did you start noticing the glue coming apart?
@@sideoftech the entire leather padding on the headband of my inzone h9 has come off. It hasn't even been a year since I bought it (maybe around 9-10 months). And I've heard that after Sony fixes it, the glue comes off again. And physical damage isn't covered in the warranty so we have to pay for it.
i love this headset 🤘🏽
It’s pretty dope!
I honestly mostly want it cuz it's Bluetooth n my 3D pulse is coming apart
It’s a good investment! If you don’t need the NC however, get the H7. Much better deal and even better battery life!
@@sideoftech I got the a30 Astros instead they didn't have the H9 or H7 😅
Still a good headset!
@@sideoftech I agree
I bought this headset a while back only because it was the only headsetthat had simultaneous Bluetooth that does not bug out with an om range. Looking at it now. Noise cancellation is useless sine I don't use it and the sound stage is horrible where all sounds are on top of teaching other with barely any seperatiod even after eq it still base heavy and it overpowers a lot of the detail. The same can be said about the imagine performance Iits terrible. I recently bought an astro a30 and logitech g pro x2 lightspeed and both have better sound stage and imaging performance for less than the launch price of this headset. This headset should be aroun£180 at max
Yeah, NC sacrifices some of the sound stage for sure but I’m glad you found a headset that works for you! The G Pro X 2’s are really good cus of those new drivers, definitely on my wishlist 😍
I been buying Sony headsets for a long time since the rocker headset joint in the ps3 I love the sound quality but the material they make it with is trash all my Sony headset have snap at the ear or the band I’m moving on to earbuds now…You get maybe 2 to 3 years out of Sony headsets depending on how you take care of it but I feel like that material doesn’t measure up
I’ve had a similar experience with them too! Conspiracy?! 😅
There are so many better headsets for PC right now that makes the H9 not worth it.
On the other hand for PS5 its a good buy but probably the H7 is the better price/performance headset
Absolutely 100% my viewpoint rn
The mic sounds bad. As expensive as these headphones are out here, i wonder why most of the mics suck.
It’s probably not a priority to them sadly, as long as the mic “works” is usually good enough 🥲
Sony has a long history of releasing crappy gaming headsets. This one is their nicest looking one, but still falls short. Typical for Sony.
Thanks for your insight!
Audeze Maxwell.
Great brand!
Yeah these are awsome headset but cheaper and better exist, Good example are the EPOS Sennheiser GSP 370 100hours of gaming time so more than 200% more time. and the sound are more crisp and have more base. And if you are a fps gamer sennheiser wins
Sweet recommendation!
300$ I'll pass. I may grab the new ear buds tho for 200$
Ah man, why are the mic’s so shite on Sony’s headsets. The sound is always amazing and the mic’s are garbage.
Agreed 🥲🥲
The Microphone Quality sounds like a 20 USD Headset
Yeah, wish we could customize more 🥲
How come the headsets always has a shitty mic? It has two jobs. Play sounds, and pick up your voice via the mic. Get a decent mic!!!
Also, why are they using an USB-A Dongle? I would expect USB-C for todays hardware.
Check out my review on the Beyerdynamic MMX 200, really good mic and USB C!
@@sideoftech Does it have support for the PS5s Sounds tech?
I can’t believe that for that price the mic is crackling…. Honestly this headset is a scam
Wish they were black tho
Yessir, we need this 👍🏼
Horrible product the mic isn’t even working anymore
