It baffles me how this channel doesn't have the subs of other WH40k Channels, you are by the most professional and dive deeper than most others. Thanks for your hard work and keep up the good work!
No other lore could beat 40k. I dont have the figures my entry point was DoW and since Star Wars has died my only real Sci Fi obsession is 40k. I fantasise about a Mass Effect / 40k Hybrid, would be the best game ever! When i was listening to the Blood Axe lore vid i just kept thinking "how amazing would it be to hire a Blood Axe ork who you command to knock the teeth out of other orks and then make the toothless ork work for you because he needs em teef!"
Thanks. My accent and somewhat monotone voice seem to be a turn-off for many. That and the fact I'm not from a western country might limit my exposure.
Thanks for the praise. I'm not entirely sure about youtube exposure either but I think if you were from the US, for example, video recommendations might have gone to a wider possible audience (or something :D)
i will start this playlist tonight armory.. this looks interesting .. just a reminder in cases GDN see this . i would love to see more Eldar dark Eldar Necron Exodites lore and those Eldar knights type units and titans they have yes more of that too :P. just saying
Space marines who has mechanical limbs do they get armored limbs or they get limbs which fits with standard power armor? Does iron hands have a higher level of connection with power armor? Do they think of it as their skin? Can they remove theirs?
I believe they either get "special" armour components that interface with their bionics, or the bionics themselves get extra armour and such so they can serve as part of the power armour suit that way.
i was gonna wait to be the seventh commenter to honor the Imperial Fists.. but i'm commenting fourth to deprive the iron warriors of their number.. haha..
Another great video, I agree about the subs, but us as the GDN community could help spread the word as well. I've put a notice up in my local GW store in Devon England. and tell people bout the channel. Also I'm English and have no problems understanding, your English is spot on. I like the idea of the ladies of 40k, that someone mentioned below you could do Euphrati Keeler she has lots of lore, and there are many more. Keep up the great work.
I'm currently in the Preproduction stages of a fan game that will be pitting shooters against each other, and I thought: "Hey, Warhammer 40,000 has a 3rd person shooter, a First Person Tau shooter, and Space Hulk: Death Wing...I'm gonna include 40k now." Your channel has been quite helpful, checking out a Wiki is kinda my last resort. I'd much rather watch a video. Thank you : )
Sister of Battle any and human use exo suits not power armor, power armor in 40K used by the Astartes follows the same pattern to that tin Fallout, Tony Stark's Ironman suit, they have a built in rebreather, medical aid system, waste recycler, plus in the case of 40K a build-in machine spirit or V.I., not A.I. like the Tau ok, that helps them out,
Well blasters do act as powerful anti material weapons so it could hurt certainly. But I would only trust a blaster cannon to actually kill marines outright. I mean the mounted ones. Though a headshot from a heavy blaster rifle will definitely hurt maybe even kill him.
I hope eventually they move away from that ugly ass backpack that hasn't changed over the years, I just want more real estate to put more weapons or gear on marines
I agree their never gonna change that standard template... sorry bad 40k pun. I really like it the armour looks odd and unbalanced with anything else, I've tried a few mods, none looked right.
That would be true. Eldar share a psychic connection with many of the things around them. This can go as low as really basic things like house utilities and such. Makes sense humans couldn't interact with them at the same level.
Soooo many Playlists I need to watch on top of your readings!
Enjoy!
Love to go back cause it helps me remember something I forgot. That and it's always an enjoyable listen to : )
Thanks for listening

plays better in my head :D
it is really strange that he has so few subs.
Tactica Imperialis and GrimDark are my two go two lore channels

Power armour is so close to being a reality...
40k has that kind of lore that makes you think you haven't learned anything at all about it after reading 50 different books on the subject
i was gonna wait to be the seventh commenter to honor the Imperial Fists.. but i'm commenting fourth to deprive the iron warriors of their number.. haha..
Sweet look forward to the marks video

Thats very kind of you. Thanks a lot :)
Thanks for the vid.

man, i love your voice, your reading is amazing
Thanks. Nice to hear you can tolerate it :D

Can Power Armor survive star wars blasters even though they shoot plasma not lasers?
Since they're different universes with different "magic" physics, I'd say it would depend on who is writing it.
Well blasters do act as powerful anti material weapons so it could hurt certainly. But I would only trust a blaster cannon to actually kill marines outright. I mean the mounted ones. Though a headshot from a heavy blaster rifle will definitely hurt maybe even kill him.

I think the backpack as well as the armour look in general is too iconic to deviate much from at this point.
I agree their never gonna change that standard template... sorry bad 40k pun. I really like it the armour looks odd and unbalanced with anything else, I've tried a few mods, none looked right.
Bionics or Psychic Powers can makes regular human sized power armor their black carapace equivalents?
I've never seen mention of a human's psychic powers used to interface with power armour.
GrimDark Narrator probably this has to do with no human (baseline or astartes) psykers can operated craftworld eldar tech?
That would be true. Eldar share a psychic connection with many of the things around them. This can go as low as really basic things like house utilities and such. Makes sense humans couldn't interact with them at the same level.
GrimDark Narrator and Dark eldar sacrifices even psychic powers for operating craftworld eldar technologies
I'm pretty sure I saw a bionic in a rouge trader RPG book that worked as a black carapace, and iron hands cyberphilia hints that it's possible.
Space Marine thighs are rediculously small.

Its fairly easy to look out for as I always upload within the same 1 hour interval :D
Damn, ya beat me to it!
