- Skip to 1:02 for the music... I apologize for the synth drone that first minute! :D
I wanted to post a video that shows ideas how Sunday Keys iPad app and Nanokontrol2 can be used for live worship...to spark ideas and conversations.
Please share what you know or what you like to do with your setup during your worship times!
Hardware:
-IPad Pro, 12.9 inch, 6th Generation
-Roland RD-2000 keyboard
-Korg NanoKontrol2
-Zoom AMS-22 (interface)
-Allen & Heath ZED10FX
Note: If you have an RD-2000 and you're having issues connecting it to your iPad, I showed you the trick I used to run a MIDI cable to an interface, then into the iPad. Another detail I had to learn about the RD-2000 was the MIDI out settings on the Piano; by default, the RD-2000 has 8 possible send channels and 1 to 4 is lined up with CC channels 1 to 4. From 5 to 8, the CC channels repeat 1 to 4 (so channel 5 is CC 1, then 6 is 2, 7 is CC output 3, and 8 is 4 again). Lastly, you need to have at least one of the 8 possible MIDI out channels set up as MIDI (depicted by the Green-colored button above the slider -- press the RD-2000's "Shift" button and the button above the slider to toggle between "MIDI" mode and "internal sound" mode-red color).
