Was it the correct choice to back up Ulfric and the Stormcloaks?
Especially after finding out hints in the Thalmor letters in Solitude that they were backing up Ulfric.

My first playthrough I supported the Stormcloacks as a Khajit and after hearing his speech I immediately regretted it. Now every new playthrough I support the Imperials.
of course the inferior race will not support the superior race. that is why you should be sent lil bro. no cats should talk.
Given the main narrative, participating in the civil war seems wrong.

For me, the Storm Cloaks are never the right choice
Well the imperials hated worship of Talos but I feel like you should be able to do what you want so I think it's justified
What I understood is that the Imperials did not hate worshipping Talos (those are the Thalmor). Legate Rikke tells you that they themselves worshipped Talos in private, they may not have had altars but they still worshipped him. It seems it all changed because of the noise the Stormcloaks made about it which made the aforementioned elven supremacists take action.
