Topher is about to have a major redemption arc. He was given so much shit for not being buddy buddy enough with Ashton and Danny. His career was literally derailed because everyone accused his of being an asshole, and the whole time he was just trying to avoid clearly toxic people. Guy deserves a universal apology.

His career was derailed? Didn’t he have the most seriously acting career post the show? Thought he was the only one considered a “real actor”. Personally I always thought of him as the best actor - and Ashton + Mila were just strategic about making money. (Also Mila seemed to have that immigrant work ethic w all her voiceover work).

Topher has definitely had the most succeeding career as an actor. He might not have the most money but he’s been in moving that have been nominated for an Oscar which is huge.
But I think his reputation with the public definitely took a hit after rumors came out about him not getting along with the rest of the cast years ago.

Shit many serial rapists and serial killers have whole families with a wife and children they're sweet to and would never hurt.
What makes so many of these types successful monsters in life and their crimes is by how well they can accomplish being a wolf in sheep's clothing. It's absolutely disgusting that they do work around trafficking and sexual assaults so they of all people know their character statement is bullshit. They spoke about the person he showed them, a lot of people can be nice to others and be an amazing friend, but also he a monster. Both can be true at the same time, speaking from experience our family went through a few years ago. They should’ve just said no when asked, if his family’s feelings were hurt or whatever, then so be it

Does anyone else feel weird about the fact that THORN hunts online cases of HT and yet it's founder doesn't have the objectivity to separate his bias from justice for the victims? Makes you wonder if information is found about his friends being involved, would he divulge the information or cover it up because it's his friend. Idk, the entire THORN foundation now seems to me like a ploy for celebs to cover up cases of HT as opposed to helping victims.

It genuinely made me nauseated to see their “apology” and the original statements. It’s incredible how disconnected they are from what’s normal. But what would you expect from a couple that should not exist as she was a minor and he shouldn’t have been around her. Like of COURSE she thinks this is normal! Look at who she was raised around! She met her husband at 13/14! What would you expect from HER? But Ashton the predator and creep…I can’t. Just I can’t. He shouldn’t be working with victims.

You can love someone and support them, make sure they're okay, but unless there's a death penalty on the table (that's a complicated matter) people really should let the sentence be cast without interfering. Defending anyone who has so severely hurt other people directly undermines victims. They claim to stand with victims, but obviously they stand more with him. This is not a matter where you get to not choose sides if you make a public statement, you choose who to support, that's just how it is.
When my cousin was on trial for molesting children, no one stood with him. His father was in contact with him, but he didn't write letters to the court or anything. We knew the evidence was solid before he was even convicted, there was no doubt of guilt and we wanted him to go to prison for as long as possible. That doesn't mean his family doesn't love him, but he's sick and a danger to society. He's not allowed to ever be in contact with any of his relatives children once he gets out and this has been a non question from the moment we knew he did what he was accused of. Most of us obviously want no contact with him in any way, but I understand why his parents still want to know how he is, but even they are reasonable with it.
I just don't understand how Ashton could say he'd let him be alone with his kids. My guy, your allegiance is to your children. Smh. If I was the judge that would've instantly made everything in his statement reek of bs to me.

So those letters were basically the celebrity version of whenever you see the friends and family of a suspect going on TV or testifying in court in their behalf. "My friend is a good kid. He never hurt no one. He was always nice to everyone in the neighborhood. He's not an evil person. Just cause he is on camera committing these crimes, and multiple victims have identified him as the suspect, and he was caught with the weapon used in the crime, and with property belonging to the victims. I don't believe he would ever do this."
