Yes, just make sure you do all the supporting mods such as a TSP stage 2 turbo cam (.600"/.600" lift), CHE rocker trunion upgrade, PAC660 springs, LS7 lifters with new trays, hardened 7.4" pushrods, new Mahle MLS head gaskets, ARP head bolts and crank bolt, new timing chain and sprocket, clean piston tops while heads are off, etc...
Yes, my set up has over 200k miles and has been sprayed with nitrous prior to being turbo, but you will need some upgrades to the top end in order for it to hold
Very interested in this. 2001 tahoe 4.8 ls. I think people overlook the 4.8 as they stare on displacement too much. Lucky for me as it does make the 4.8 cheaper to get :) I'm in the info collecting phase of diy turbo on it. Hope to see more of your build and progress
@@HardWorkpaysofff might not last as long but every motor is different, could end up lasting a long time, you could always use the same turbo set up for your 6.0 or 6.2
@@jfloperformance5434 I’m thinkn just run my truck for a year or 2 till it has problems and run a 6.2 from a c6 or somthing like that what transmission goes w that engine
@@HardWorkpaysofff run an ON3 single 70mm full kit on your truck and if you want reliability out of your Trans then swap to a 4L80E with a 2800-3000 stall converter and 3.90 or 4.10 gear.
Should I put a Turbo in my 2003 4.8 Silverado ? Has 150,000 miles

Yes they sure do! And yes 4.8s are cheap but can hold some boost! Will be uploading some more content soon thanks.
